I started these girls June 8. Won't be documenting too much until they start flowering.
Some yellowing, some leaf twisting. These were just under fluorescent lights the last 5 weeks and were not pH watered. Definitely not the best care up until this point.
They are now placed into 4" rockwool cubes sitting on a flood tray. My veg station and flowering flood buckets get the same water, pH and ppm nutes. In fact for simplicity they are fed from the same exact reservoir.
They were just toppled so that I can get some clones of these girls ASAP.
These girls will start the pampering process now because I want strong healthy clones.
Nothing new to report. Sitting on a flood table getting the same feed as the vegging tent. Hopefully these will take off in the next few weeks. Need to clone before flowering
Nothing new to report. Plants are on autopilot for 2 weeks while I go for Holidays. We will see how they progress in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned and stay lifted!
Was in a motorcycle accident. Sorry for the missed updates. This is a shot taken after taking clones of all the plants.
Updates should continue regularly now
The veg tent is doing what it does.. Veg. I've taken clones but due to the lack of a heat mat, they are taking much longer with less success.
May have to take new clones again before the next run
All the new girls are coming along nicely. Separated out the moms from the next run. Left the new run under 400w MH. Moved all the moms out to a vegging area under t5s.
Almost all the clones are ready. About 10 have been placed into rockwool. Decided I should make sure clone counts and tent layout. In order to keep a nice even canopy, I've decided to go with young clones verses older mothers that I could flip quickly.
85% of the clones have roots out of the rockwool cubes. Now that the flowering tent is empty, I have put the well rooted clones into their final homes, 5gal ebb and flow flood buckets. I have been flipping my plants to early to get the yields I hope for. Now that these plants are in there areas I will make sure these girls have big root structures and ~30 tops per net. I'm guessing 2-3 more weeks.
I've finally planted all of the pots. I have used two of the older moms so that I could start to get established roots. Hopefully in a week or two I should be able to flip the lights
There are 4 pots of Gorilla Zkittlez. They occupy the back and middle pots along the middle of the 4x8 tent.
They all seem to be doing well and not holding up the flip at all.
Gorilla zkittles occupy the middle back between the two nets. It's growing beautifully and roots have definitely established. Flip will occur soon in the coming days.
I'm 4 days into flower.
Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights.
Gorilla Zkittles has huge indicia leaves. The plant is growing nice and has no nutrient burn or other defects.
Just hit day 10 of flower the left net has about 20% touching the 2nd trellis. And about 70% almost touching.
The right net in the tent has 40% touching and the rest is close to the 2nd trellis.
Gorilla Zkittles is growing strong. They occupy the middle back 4 pots of the net.
Day 18 of flower. I hadn't looked for a couple days and the girls had a growth spurt. Growing 6-8" of growth in just 36 hrs.
These plants have nice sturdy stocks and lots of distance between nodes.
Ive finished the scarecrow pruning and its autopilot mode.
Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom.
Gorilla Zkittles looks to have one plant that stacking. The other looks like it may be smaller yields. Time will tell and density of the bud definitely changes the weight.
The Gorilla Zkittlez has a very tall plant pheno that is very sparse for buds. Then there is a pheno that is growing strong and filling out from top to bottom. Smells seem to be very fruity on inspection.
Gorilla Zkittlez has one plant that looks to have a huge stock, but next to no bud mass, while the other lacks as much girth of the stem but has the massive colas. Smells are very sweet smelling.
Started the final week of nutrients. Then ill be switching to flawless finish and pure water the last week.
Gorrila Zkittles just keeps on stacking. The one pheno is going to be a keeper for sure. Very fruity smells.
Very easy to grown. One version completely shit the bed and i believe had root issues. The other version grew extremely well and bountiful. This version was a keeper with great smells and a punch to match.
There were two pheno. One was a lost cause and the other extremely thc covered, potent and smelly. Buts were large as well.
Definitely keeping one for the future.
