1st and main rule is cleanliness and disinfection.
1st step sterilize jars.
2nd wash wheat add water, hydrogen peroxide and 2 chloramphenicol pills. Leave it for an 5 hours. Then clean it again and put it on fire for above 50 min. After pour out water.
3rd Drop into jars vermiculite 1/3 and wheat 2/3. Close it and put it in pressure cooker for an hour.
4th After the jars cool down drop there spores wrap in foil and put it in the dark place for 2 weeks.
Best temperature for incubating 27-28C.
This time i used mycelium from my previous jars. Want to check that i dont need to buy spores every time.
For soil i used coconut fiber and vermiculite 1:1. Dont forget to sterilize it before use.
Time to make cake.
1st put 1cm sterilized vermiculite with coco.
2nd put your mycelium in the box.
3rd put 1cm sterilized vermiculite with coco over mycelium.
4th put box into dark place.
Good luck with your grow. Several years ago I grew a few batches of a Cambodian and Amazon strain using a simple homemade brown rice flour and vermiculite blend which worked out well. Then a humidity chamber with wet perlite on the bottom. Sat my cakes on plastic yogurt covers. Worked out well. Still have friends asking me if I'm going to grow more. Enjoy the trip.
