Well - hoping that I have a high CBD phenotype. This came from bud that was very very high CBD (18%) and virtually zero THC. Super Excited to see how this works out - a normally fast growing plant that I'm going to force into a tiny space.

Almost ready to Top! I'm hoping that I have a high CBD phenotype. This came from bud that was very very high CBD (18%) and virtually zero THC. Super Excited to see how this works out - a normally fast growing plant that I'm going to force into a tiny space.
She is sooooo gangly compared to the other plants. Super stretch from last week even though night temp (both soil and air) are monitored and kept precisely the same as daytime temps. I had to top a second time and she's still out of control
Well it's day one of week 7 (10 days after initiating flowering) and growth is absolutely insane on this plant - going in all directions and huge number of colas after topping twice - cool to watch but considering the tight space I'm really hoping it slows down soon! Will have to keep adjusting LST well into flowering at this rate.
I think you can defoliate the bottom of your plant and get rid of a lot of your curled leafs.
It would increase growth in your plant.
I just love this strain,
@CBD_Sweden thanks for the advice! I did it this morning and I juiced the leaves - plant is looking good and the raw juice is so amazing I felt instantly energized - VCDC is a great strain for leaf production as well I think because it grows so fast!
@BigDaddyK I know the leaf curl started in week 4 and was a big wake up call. I've been doing Water changes 2x per week (this is not pure soil, it is a Bioponic hybrid system) but I think I discovered this was a result of low pH - I bought a new container of Botanicaire that was remarkably more acidic than the previous batch that I had - I mixed up a standard batch of nutrients without checking pH because I was in a hurry, and the pH was below 5.0. Caused nutrient lockout in both Avidekel and VCDC - for some reason BC Cherry had less problems. Anyway I'll update soon the new growth is looking much better
