Topped the plant on Day 13. Now on Day 14. 2 new Sets of leaves are coming in on the stock below. Indicating topping was a success. Once stocks come in I will LST plant.
Vegetation has took off. This is my First Attempt Growing that has actually lasted past the seedling phase. I bought a couple books and followed Growers online and asked questions. I dont know how good I'm doing but it seems I'm doing average.... PH for the first time was at 4.5-5.0 I asked what to do to bring PH up. You Flush the plant with water that's has a PH of 6. It worked took 1 day after flushing.
After flushing my plant with water that has a ph of 7 my plant growth has exploded. The plant is now out Grown its pot. I added a Trellis on Aug 18th. 2 more weeks of Veg before I flip it. Plant is currently 32in by 30in wide. 16in high.
Growth is going well. At the end of this week I shut lights off for a couple days because I plan on Flipping it next week because the plant is as wide as my tent now about 3ft by 3ft. I need to bud because I'm working with 6ft in hieght and I only got about 3ft left which is what it should grow when budding.... Recap This is Purple Crack FROM IRVINE SEEDS. This is my First time Growing, Period, First time I been past Germination Phase. First Time In Vegitation Phase and soon to be First Time in Flowering Phase. I learned from people on this website before I started, I asked tons of question to people online. Let's see how this turns out. I'm running FOX FARMS Everthing. 1000W LED.
First week of Budding went well. Growth was about 4-6in. Hairs appeared in some areas. Trimming some of the big Fan Leaves today to make room for more light toward the bottom of the stock. I wasn't anticipating the plant to get this large I'm running out of room probably should have started budding a week earlier. But we will see how this turns out... Since I saw hairs signaling flowering, I did Start with its first watering with Tiger Bloom.
The week was slow. I over watered 1 day and add a teaspoon to much nutrients and my plant got a small amount of nutrient burn. My rookie mistake. I was feeding it like I was during vegetation but water cycle has changed to 1 time a week 1 gallon of water. To 4 times a week 1 liters of water each time. Using nutrients every other watering. Seems to be helping out. Looking forward to the coming weeks.
Week saw buds growing bigger and bigger. Frost is now coming in on some leaves. Read to lollipop branches so all the energy goes to the top buds so they can grow bigger. Kind of nervous had alot of Fan Leaves. But now I can see how big these buds can actually get. 1 plant I got a solid 8-10 stocks. We will see what the final weight will be when done.
After trimming plant from bottom up like a lollipop. Buds have grown bigger, resin is coming in and so are the Crystal's. Plant seems to be loving the Nutrients and conditions. No burn, keeping feeding at 1 liter every other day with 1 teaspoon of Nutrients seems to be doing very well. Got a few more Weeks of budding we will see how it goes.
Week has gone well plant is going to pass might LED light I'm about 6in from top of my tent. Still watering every other day that also seem to be going very well.
I can literally see the Tricomes with my eyes that's how big they are getting. The plant is getting more frosty by the day. I haven't ran Into any problems even thought the humidity at my location has reached 90% outside my tent has never went over 54% which is good. Having a decent circulation Fan is key. Looking forward to what next week brings.
This weeks has brought on the Trichomes so much you can see it without a magnifying glass. It gas been colder at night in my area so this has helped with keeping the plant in the high 60s at night. I have been running into a weight problem with some of the branches so I bought some wooden dowels and will put them in to support the ones that are leaning.
The smell has now got to the point where its smelling up my whole house so I bought some Plug In Air Fresheners and put them in the other rooms the plant is not in and seemed to help for now.
Looking forward to the harvest and curing process this will be my first time doing all that so I will trust what I have read and watched and trust the process cause it hasn't led me astray so far.
This week had some growth but it has definitely slowed but the smell has gotten more potent. At the end of this week I will be harvesting this beauty. I will post weight and pics when I do. I will be flushing the plant the night before than harvesting the flower.
This week went to pungent smells and resin growth. Flushed the Plant 48hrs before deciding to Harvest on its 8th week exactly. I flushed plant let lights run for 2 more hours than I shut lights off for over 48hrs. Harvested it Sunday Morning to probably the most pungent smells I ever could imagine. The resin had doubled the bud also seemed to have gotten bigger during that 2day process. My final week will be posted Next week around the Same time just waiting to see what the final weight is. The current weight was 1lb 7oz at the time of hanging to dry. I also will be Curing using a CVAULT with Boveda Packs. Ive done alot of research on theses especially in the Canadian areas. Some people attest to it. I actually get these packs in my containers from my Delivery service the buds are always fresh and at max potency.
This was a great First Time experience for me a great way to use free seeds to dial in my grow tent. The grow community is a great community there are some that dont want to help but than their are those that will help out just so you can have yourself some decent medicine. A good way to learn is Research ask Questions follow people and learn from them than slowly start your process. The total cost of my whole grow was $350 including the pack of seeds, soil, tent, light, fans, humidifier curing containers and Nutrients oh and pot. This was a tester seed from IRVINE SEED CO. This is not the seed that cost me money that will be coming up in my next diary. I'd like to thank everyone for all the help. Grow Diaries is a great source for Learning how to grow Marijuana.
