Very pretty strain. Smells like the classic GSC smell. Yield was good. This stuff is the perfect mix of both worlds of head high and couch high. Gives ya the munchies and giggles. Very smooth smoking. Compact bud structure. Curing for about two weeks now and it’s all I could have asked for in my first grow.

I just dried these in my tent flipped the scrog upside down and dried for 1 week at 55%rh and 20degrees then trimmed nicely and burped jars until it had a RH of 62% Overall first grow- First of all I’d like to mention some issues with the grow but I combated very well. If the power gos out get flashlights to keep the light cycle going. Get watering spraying pump it’s easier to water picture week 7. Put your pots on elevation 4 to 5 3/4inch wood pieces so you can adjust the height of pot in your tent to get better canopy overall if training doesn’t go as planned. Get a big dehumidifier. Keep Ph consistent. And keep it simple y’all . Good lights ,good dirt, good strain, good nutrients and water consistent with correct ppm and pH and keep humidity low for mould and and you’ll have some good shit. Hope this diary helps some of y’all. Till next time.

Flushing techniques with organic soil. I hate chemical tasting weed. I have organic soil in 7 gallon pots. It takes 4.2 litres to have very little run off at the bottom. 3.5 weeks left of flower. What’s your best method to flush plants in the final weeks ?

Instead of 1 week of heavy flushing, you can just water with plain water for 2 weeks, that will give the plant enough time to consume whatever is left on the soil and its own stores of nutes. Less of a mess.

Nice looking girls! I noticed you wrote organic living soil, however your using salt based nutrients. You can’t have both, so your grow would be a soil grow with synthetic nutrients. cheers.

OrganicChroniccommented5 years ago
@SirDillton, I see! Yeah, it’s because organic living soil relies on microbes to break down nutrients in the soil and deliver them to the roots. Microbes form multple functions including protecting the plant from diseases and pests. When you use synthetics the microbe colonies change or dies as they’re not needed the same way.

Thanks man! And good to know about the soil! it’s just what the company had on the bag, is organic living soil so that’s what I called it. It’s called kryptonite dirt to be exact. So when you add synthetic nutrients it isn’t classified as living soil anymore? @OrganicChronic,

Good to know man I’ve been reading about it and I see people have good success with just watering normally for final two weeks with no flush at all as long as your soil is full of nutrients and it’s just plain water they seem too plump up better and taste fine. From what I’ve been reading anyways... I guess will see in a couple weeks .. still quite undecided how I’m going to go about it lol @@Athos,

Hi @SirDillton! One way to go is to let the medium dry, then fully flush the container under the shower until the runoff looks clear, then help the medium to dry faster with fans/airflow. This is a bit radical but then you don't need to do anything, your plant will have enough water until the chop and you will be able to wait for the trichomes to mature. If you use organic soil and do not like chemical taste in buds, why don't you consider using organic fertilizer? Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information. Happy growing! 👊

I think you'll want your scrog up higher for when it stretches mate, another foot or two at least

It’s a full indica strain that’s 13 inches tall before the flip. With scrog at 9 inches . From what I’ve gathered If it stretched two feet it would be unheard of for this strain . Rarely does it ever double it’s size when flipped. I might need to move it up 6 inches ... I’m only expecting them to stretch 10-14 inches . /@Fruitgrower,

WATERING w/ organic soil and liquid nutrients. QUESTION - when watering with plain water I leave very little runoff to keep organic properties inside but when I use liquid nutes should I water with 30% runoff or keep everything inside the pot like I do when using plain water?
