Decisions last week were right. The weather is getting better now, the other two girls are growing too btw. Fed her 2 Times this week and she seems to enjoy organic vegan food. On Day 26 I fim'd one of the main branches encouraging her a last time to get even more complex. Awkward how dense and tiny she is, but beeing and reacting just the right way. She really had a run this week soaking up the morning sun. Yay.

Wondering when to flush this girl and cut the nutes. Thrichomes looking good, first ones turn amber but the girl doesn't look tired and beeing at the end of her cycle. Should I wait till next week before flushing her for two weeks?

Honestly, I would skip the flush. I've never flushed a grow I've done and my bud quality came out the same as my buddy that used to flush. Now he no longer flushes and has noticed slightly better yields. jst think about what happens when you flush. The plant starts cannibalizing nutrients from its leaves and depositing them in the buds. So even if you don't feed the plant it is still putting nutrients into the buds to make them grow. There was a study done last year that even proved this. Unfortunately, I don't have the link anymore, but their end results were less than 5% average difference in total nute content between flushed and unflushed buds. That's nearly nothing, and comes out to less than 1% of each individual nute. If your biggest concern is a high-quality smooth smoke then make sure you dry and cure them properly. Chlorophyl is the reason for harsh smoke, not nutes. The dry and cure is the biggest part to breaking down chlorophyll and achieving a smooth smoke. Dry slowly so it takes 7-10 days for the buds to dry. When you jar them throw in a humidity monitor to keep tabs. You want the humidity in the jars to be between 62% and 58%. If they are over 62% but under 70% burp the jars for an hour or 2 every day until it hits 62%. Once at 62% just burp for a min or 2 every day to introduce fresh air to aid in the cure. If the buds get too dry they stop curing and the chlorophyl will no longer break down.

Good work! What do you think about this mykorrhiza stuff, did that help? Kind of curious about that..

im impressed at how much you got off of that 100 watt light

@Fitzwell, yeah. I'm surprised myself. Should have a concrete use of 20 Watt, so I'm easily over a gram dry I guess. Light bulb was about 23 Euro. She really was not angry about splitting and showed no signs of stress or something. Must be the mycorrhiza making her so resistent. I mean, I really did everything what you shouldn't do with autos. Looks and smells so good.

Hi @@creauto! It's all about the type of effects you're looking for...! As long as most of the trichomes have turned from clear and thin to fat and milky you know the 'harvest window' is open, even if you don't see any amber. Harvesting too soon (too many clear trichs) will result in a uplifting/energetic effect but you will lose some terpenes & oil potential. Waiting longer (too many amber trichs) will result in a heavy stone/couchlocking effect. Hand-held microscopes can be found for a few dollars on the internet or at your local growshop, these are mandatory when it comes to finding the perfect timing for harvest. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Thank you, @Stick, I haven't decided what I'm looking for yet but I think I have a few days left. The Trichomes have different stages of ripeness on this single plant so there will be a range naturally. Maybe i cure them seperateley, to gain some experience in states of ripeness. I'll keep you and finish this diary of course. Greetings from Germany!

Thank you guys for the informative answers! It's kinda sad the answers disappear when selecting a single one. Maybe I have a short flush... it's kinda hard waiting for harvest day looking at her delicious buds.
