Monday 29th July All six ladies have now broken through.
Tuesday 30th July Five of the ladies growing strong the last one to pop through seems to be the runt of the litter has a definite purple look to the short stalk.Going to call that one "Little Weed" from the children programme The Flower Pot Men for those that remember😂
Just plain PH'd water for a week.
Week 2
Wednesday 31st July
All the ladies are growing and only being watered sparingly every other day. Little Weed is still hanging in there and hope she can fulfil her potential.
Sunday 4th Aug
Nearing 3 inches in height except "little weed" still PH'd water only but at the start of the next week will be transplanting them into their forever home of 10 l pots and starting with 1% CalMag.
Tuesday 6th Aug
End of the week. Little weed hanging in there and starting to grow. The other five are at 3 inches and all will be transplanted into 10l pots tomorrow the start of week three.
Week 3
Wednesday 7th Aug. All six transfered to their forever home of 10l pots watering now with 1% cal mag but still sparingly.
Sunday 11th Aug. All healthy and growing even little weed is doing okay.Splash of CalMag PH'd water is all that is being used at the moment.
Week 4
Wednesday 14th Aug. Start of a new week all the ladies are healthy and growing. Already you can see the difference in pheno types within the six at an early stage and their development is different. Thats nature for you. Even little weed is getting stronger.
Week 5
Wednesday 20th Aug start of a new week. Will be increasing nutrients with the addition of Buddy and Canna A and B and some LST will be started on the bigger ladies this week. all healthy and green.
Week 6
Tuesday 27th Aug start of the new week. 5 out of the 6 started with LST and some defoliation. Will be pushing to 2% nutrients this week. All looks good nothing noticeably going wrong so its feeding and watering and watching and waiting now. Tis the boring bit now waiting for flowering to commence.
Week 7
Start of a new week Tuesday 3rd Sept. As you can see from todays photos the ladies have now started pre flower, kicking out the first white pistols. Will continue at 2% nutrients this week.
Week 8
Start of a new week Tuesday 10th Sept. Slowly moving from pre flower to full flowering. Another week of nutrients at the same level. Water PH has been between 5.8 and 6.2 and temperature outside is back to normal for an English summer😂 Looking at how the ladies are growing they will be ready for chopping at different times which I prefer.
Week 9
Tuesday 17th Sept start of the new week. All looking good at the moment seem to be developing nicely pistils are now fattening up to form the buds. None of the ladies seem overly large and reasonable node spacing so I am hoping this will lead to nicely packed dense buds.Nutrients at 3% for Canna A and B. Hope to get the feeding right prior to the flush and looking at another three weeks of feeding before a week to ten day flush depending upon the trichome development.
Week 10
24th Sept start of a new week.
According to breeders these can be harvested at 10 weeks😳😂😂 Maybe can by some but I only use 12/12 light schedule so that could be a reason why I never crop early. As you can see the ladies have got nice bud sites and this week I will be pushing Canna A and B at 4%, Buddy 1% and Cal Mag 2% for the week to fatten up the buds as that's where I think the ladies are.I then will be using Ripen for the final two weeks before harvest to ripen the buds before a flush.
Think everything looks good and on track, even little weed the runt has grown and will give me something to smoke.
If you read this and have any thoughts please just say as all advice freely taken and never offended now I am a year on from my first grow.
Week 11
1st Oct start of the ladies new week.
Temperature has dropped outside dramatically glad the ladies are indoors and enjoying tent life. Buds are staring to get bigger with the lovely sight of those fresh green sugar leaves appearing and pistils turning into bud. Think I will go another few days at the same feed schedule as last week. The density seems to be there due to the node spacing so fingers crossed that when I add the ripen for two weeks they will explode in size. Tentatively I believe the first of these ladies will be getting the chop around the third week of the month.
3rd Oct
Ripen now being used so all the others nutrients stopped. Hope to start to see big bud development fingers crossed. Then in two weeks a good flush which for once will be two weeks instead of a week that I normally do as I have for once used higher dosage of nutrients this grow.
Week 12
8th Oct start the new week. Just Ripen for another 7 days buds are really bulking up and appear to be dense and compact😍😍 Hopefully then it’s a two week flush.
Week 13
Wednesday 16th October started just ph'd water now so maybe 7 to 14 days to chop. As there are six ladies in the tent I should be able to get a balance of strength with chopping at different times. Become very smelly and sticky now just need to see some amber trichomes appearing.
Week 14
Wednesday 23rd Oct. Harvest starts this week as all have appearance of amber trichomes and 70-80% milky. Plan is to cut down with an increasing amount of brown colour to the trichomes.
Tuesday 29th Oct. Harvest done. Now to further the drying and curing. Just put the first harvest into mason jars to cure so should be a smoke report in a weeks time. Happy with the last harvest about 5% amber so that was what I was aiming for. Hope when I do the smoke report on that there is a noticeable difference.: 1:
All dried now and placed into mason jars. The dry weight was down on what I had hoped for but the buds are super sticky and made me a nice resin joint after trimming.
Nice and smooth and relaxing so looking forward to the cured bud.
