I'm happy with my first attempt at growing and appreciate the feedback I got from people through the process. Thank you. I did probably defoliate a bit too much at the beginning of the flowering phase and probably stunted things, but while the buds are small, they are plentiful. I will continue to update with info as I get it... unfortunately no wet weight though.
What would be the most efficient light for a single plant indoor grow? My hope is to have one plant sustained through winter months and outdoor grow each summer. I've been to a number of sites and advice varies, so I thought I'd ask here as well. Thanks in advance.
I’ve used as little as two- 60watt CFL’s and have seen flowers start to form. I’ve also played with the “grow” LED lights from the local big box store. I’ve had good luck with those too. It’s easy to grow a small plant, but don’t expect a huge harvest, but you could definitely have some enjoyable bud. Kind of a quality over quantity deal.
Happy growing.
Could I move an outdoor plant into a garage if temps drop significantly outside? I understand bugs are a concern moving an outdoor plant inside, but wondered if a garage with lighting would be a viable option (and anything else I should consider if I move her)
You most certainly can. The only real concern when bringing plants inside, is when you decide to place them in your tent with your indoor plants. I myself plan on bringing my plants into the pool room to wait out the cold nights, once they get here.
you can look for example on ebay for those boards https://www.ebay.de/str/meizhiled-official/Spider-Farmer-series/_i.html?_storecat=67814904013
happy growing
I would highly recommend you just let the plant grow mostly naturally next time, with less stressful training (*maybe* something like a loose scrog net). It's fairly reliable, generally produces larger/nicer flowers, especially if you're inexperienced and it's easier. Stuff like fimming/topping can sometimes even make the plants veg more relative to flowering and the flower size/quality is affected by that too, since that stuff messes with the plant's hormone system.
@@Ssomeguy, I really appreciate the feedback, and absolutely intend to be a little more conservative on the next grow. This was really a steep learning curve and entirely new experience for me, coupled with a strong desire to keep the plant as short and low profile as possible. And it's given me enough knowledge to know I will likely stick to outdoor grows and use my small tent to start my girls earlier in the year (though I may find an autoflower to play with in the meantime... 😀). Cheers man!
All of these answers are super helpful guys and gals, I will definitely be considering these options and will certainly share what I purchase for my future indoor setup. 😀
