started 2 of California orange. they are from southern Oregon seed company, both female and were freebies. they came up with in 24 hours. the seeds were place in root riot cubes then soaked with 2 tea spoons of clonex and water, now I wait for about 3 weeks before the flip
one is taller than the other. I think I will put the taller one in soil and perhaps keep the other using just rock wool? I will flip the switch on these in a little over a week. should be a good time with these. everything I read sounded good. my first soil grow on these as well.
they are still up and are in their forever dirt home. gave them a light feed of grow big, cal mag and clonex as they look like they needed it, one is smaller and the other is taller
I really like how this strain grows and I will do it again later in the future, I will be attempting to brush one or two of the branches with pollen from mr nice g13xhash plant to get a few seeds from, other wise this strain is looking good and starting to smell good as well. I have two plants one is bushy and one is skinny and tall both look very tasty. both nice and healthy and I think I will like the finished results.
things are looking good I think I will really like this strain. they are frosting up already and just smell wonderful. I can not wait to try this. other wise I brushed one branch with some mr nice g13x hash plant pollen to see how they take. I am excited to see what kind of seed this makes. until next week.
so far this is a nice strain. I really like how she grows and the buds are sticky and has a nice smell to them. dank but sweet and fruity kind of citrus. I pollenated a branch with the g13x hash plant and looks like the pollen took good. now I wait but I am thinking I may be in the 6th week of flower not the 5th. either way I believe I have at least 4 weeks to go on this and a few more for the branch making the sedd. until next week
this has been a joy to grow. I should be nearing the end. I will start a flush here soon until the chop it should be 2-3 weeks left. one got a little nutrient burn going on but no big deal.
ok so these are starting to look ready, so maybe one or two more weeks, from what I read they are ready at 7 weeks all the way to 9 weeks. I have started a flush since last week. these are so sticky and smell so wonderful. I have tasted this when she was around 6 and half weeks and is very nice. I chopped of the two top colas, one was a mistake on my part moving one and not paying attention and the top snapped, so I cut it, hung it to dry as well as I cut the other, after the first was cut I seen that cutting could expose the lower buds to light, so I may do a partial harvest on some of the flower? not sure.
I checked on the seeded branch and took one seed out and it was still kind of soft. until next week.
I have been doing a partial harvest with these. I checked the tris and the ones that were chopped were some what amber. I will do a harvest update when the rest comes down in a few weeks as I have a seeded branch that will go for a bit longer. otherwise these ladies were great, lots of frost, dense buds, with a real nice smell when growing and I may do this strain agin. otherwise until next week.
futureI am so happy with the harvest and the yield. the plants grew super easy and had a super nice smell of like a fruit kind of😀 dankness. I will be growing this one again. the smoke is real nice and clean. the high is a nice buzz with a little bit of energy and focus. not too over powering like some strains. I got a little over a hundred seeds from the branch that I pollenated with the g13xhash plant and im looking forward to growing some at a future date
so I did the harvest and made some live resin, I used a rosen press to get some rosin hash. super great smoke and I will do this strain again. cali-o will be in my line up. the buds are in jars and been getting burped twice a day. I can not wait until a month when the buds are cured more/longer. pretty happy with the yield. I got a little over 100 seeds and im looking forward to try them later. G13xhash plant x cali o great combo.
@blendmedmedman, here appeared a Question mark : "3 ?12 weeks" When do you put the pollen? at the end of the flowering? Nice to know that they develop way faster than flowers. Survivor Instinct rules!!
@Psilocubensis, I put the pollen on the flowering branch at 3 ?12 weeks. I used a brush and put the pollen on, then covered the branch for 24 hours. I would pluck one seed here and there to check to see if the seed was hard or soft. from what I read everything said to do so, a squeeze on the seeds. I did partial harvest and let the seeded branch go longer. I think it will be a nice mix as well. hope that helps?
@Welovephattrees420uk, yes I bagged the branch for 24 hours. got a little over a 100 from the branch. there are some seeds here and there I found 1 so far but I am ok with that. cheers
@kanda19,no I think they are done with the stretch or close to it, I only got to veg them for like 4 weeks though, they are right now around 3 1/2 feet. 12 feet nice as long as you have the room
Happy growing! Will be watching as I have one outdoors that should start to flower in the next few weeks. She is about 8 feet tall now and was a very fast grower for me.
@blendmedmedman, grasshoppers have been s nuisance this year for sure, but other than that not too bad so far.
