auto Strawberry Gum

Overview of my grow: Tent: 4 x 4 120 cm by 120 cm Lights: 2 x 120 Watt CTlite c4 clusterled Climat: Dehumidifyer 240 watt Prima Klima carbon filter Secret Jardin 20 W osc fan Pots: 4 x 11 liter airpots Water : automated water system Nutrients: Plagron cocos A + B Plagron PK 13/14 ATA cal/mag Epsom salt Week 1 Started a new grow. The Strawberry gum breeder is advanced seeds. I cannot find it in here sadly so it had to be a custom strain. The idea is use 4 smaller pots. This is last time my plants where a little bit over sized in 19 liter air pots. I germinated the Strawberry Gum and she was the second fastest in the class. But then i had a little bit problem to begin with all 4 new plants but she suffered worst off all, It turned out PH meter was not proper calibrated. learned my lesson here i have to do this every month! I did calibrate it immediately but i could not see she is doing good. She stays too little and roots are not coming out of the bottom of the block. I did gave her some extra care, lowered feeds, only little bit call/mag only. After 2 days i see new roost come out, higher up the stem and seeking soil. So i dont know why roots not come from the bottom. But when i saw the roots from the stem i decided to put her in the coco so the roots were covered at that point. I forgot to take a picture 😢, but i didn't want to dig her out because she allready suffered most. She was second germinated but for now she is the smallest. Any way i see on day 6 that she is doing a little bit better, so high hopes here. Thumbs up !

It looks like there was something more going on then only wrong PH, I think something in the start block because the roots where not coming out, I think she has find her way out now and things are very promising. I did install my auto water system on day 12 not because she was ready but my other plants definitely where. Maybe it helps with a faster root development but it doesn't harm either so, here we go to my own strawberry weed 😋

The odd thing is she looks a bit paler then my other plants, but with real light it is not so dramatic and she looks greener anyway ,I raised my nutrients to 1.0 EC slowly and strawberry weed here we come 😆

Week 4 everything is looking good at the moment, She grew 12 cm height this week and she is growing nice every day, no problems. i raised the nutrients up to 1.2 EC. So far so good. There is a little bit smell in the room but i don't know witch plant it is producing at this stage.

I give 1.0 EC nutrients. I did a bit of lst and did bend some stems away from the middle.

I was considering to do some lst, but then again , i think with tis structure it is also nice to have one big main cola. The diference between the other cola is maybe 10 cm but it looks way more on the picture. I replaced her position and placed her in the back, next to the gelato. They look both sativa dominant and have sort of the same structure. The 2 plants in the front are more indica looking. Now it is more easy for my fans to give proper air on the plants because the front 2 are lower. I started to give a PK boost this week, and EC levels are now 1.4. I stopped the PK boost after a week, now nutrients are on 1.4 EC again.

We'll see about that.

Harvest day is coming soon !

I took her out of the room in flushed her in the shower. I did not expect her to be so big as she is. The buds are really fat and you can see the last 2 weeks are very important. She has a nice smell i took some samples this week, and it was good nice sweet smoke and a good stone. No strawberry taste at the moment but maybe when it has had a descent dry and litlle cure it will appear and or improve.

This was the first time i have grown a advanced seed and i'm satisfied. it delivered a very tasty, good smelling, nice bag appeal. very good weed and i can recommend this one. It was also very fast, it looked very stunning and it was a big plant 110 cm with lot of buds and very nice smoke after cured very well i even could taste sometimes the strawberry profile very happy.
