This week went rather easy with my lad. He's growing well but still not too good compared to other growers. I also noticed there are bright spots on the leaves in random places. Not sure about the reason. It might be an echo from week 1 pH mess up or it might be some disease. I can see the spots on both old leaves and new coming leaves too. Now my pH is good (around 5.5), temperature seems alright, humidity is a little low in average but I don't see it as a major problem.

Hi everyone.My buddy got some problems with leaves.They get bright spots all over in random places and some of them curl to the side.Is it tobacco mosaic virus?Has anyone had something similar?How can I deal with it?And more important can I then smoke it without problems for me?

Hey this does look similar to tobacco mosaic virus but good news.....its not! This caused by a ph issue. If his ph is what you listed then that is too low for soil. You are safe from 6 to 7 in soil. 5.5 is low. Hope this gets you headed in the right direction. Good luck!

Brother you had her growing upside down so that was possible to come back from , then you started to feed her a little to early with nutrients which caused some toxicity in the girl and now she just trying to recover from that PhD 8.0 water ..Good thing you got this site with lots of people who will help you out good luck man..

@Cannibalgardens, I’ve just looked at the bottom of my SIP and found the root growing through to reach water! Looks like everything should be fine by now.

@Abava,I've only seen the bigger sip container this one is just a tray at the bottom of the bowl that just keeps your base inside above that water and the roots are supposed to stretch down and wick into the water solution making for stronger more healthy quicker growing girls ..I'd need to see a few more pictures of the whole container and they would be good to be watered now from the base so as to promote rapid expanding roots ..

Try spray some cal mag over the plant 2ml in 1 liter bottle do this every 3 days
