Hey guys got my 2nd batch of white widow autos here and 2nd ever grow. Excited to see how it goes growing more than 1 plant lol.
Soil: 10L / 3gal pot of Fox Farms Ocean Forest pre amended with 2 tbs of Nectar For The Gods (per pot)
I will be running fox farms trio nutes on this grow as well, I am going to start feeding them at the beginning of week 3, so in 1 more week. For now its just light watering :p.
Aug 14th (d16) - Haven't really been paying too much attention to these gals. FIM'ed the tallest girl here in these pictures and left the other two to keep on growing. I FIM'ed this one because she already has 4 nodes and veg conditions are pretty much perfect in my tent atm considering how humid it has been here (60-70% rh). We'll see how she does and the other two I may begin LST'ing pretty soon, as well as the FIM girl. No nutrients yet, maybe next week ;p. I know FFOF has plenty of nutrients to keep a plant going for their first 4-5 weeks so.
Aug 15th (d17) - I think these girls are gonna get into flowering fairly quickely, they are growing super fast for their age so I need to act soon and start LST ;p.
Aug 18th (d20) - LST on all 3 plants now they are growing very quickly :)
August 21st- day 23 veg: I gave them their first feed of nutrients about 2 days ago. I mixed 6 tsp of big bloom and 3 tsp of grow big into 4.5ml (about a gallon) of ph balanced water then watered 1.5 ml of this feed to each plant. Then today I accidentally watered with non PH balanced water. The PH of this water being a fucking 8! My tap water is wack lol, will the plants be okay? I will continue to flush with PH balanced water and bushdoctor sledgehammer next watering, in order to prepare the soil for feeding. My first plant suffered when I didn't flush with sledgehammer before starting nutrients, so I will do it this way.
August 22nd day 24: Seems like they are okay, one plant showing some yellow spots but she will be okay after the flush :) LST is going really well for these plants. Trying not to defoliate any fan leaves in the way since its an autoflower, just tucking them to expose the tops.
August 25th day 27: Got some pistils popping, next week may be there first week of flower. Was hoping for 5 weeks of veg but oh well :L
Day 28 first day of "flower" : Mixed up nutes for the trio today, I give them 2L each so I mixed 1 tsp extra than whats recommended for a gallon because 1 GAL = about 4L. I am mixing into 6L of water so I add a tiny bit extra :). Defoliation worked flawlessly, allowing for plenty of new colas to form down all of the branches of each plant. In the coming weeks we should see all these colas develop into tiny budlets during the flowering stretch :). Around week 3/4 I will defoliate once more after flowering stretch to allow all of the colas to fatten up to their max potential! So that's the roadmap from here :). Learning a little bit from my mistakes with the other plant (though shes still a great plant). For example these plants I will continue to LST during the flowering stretch, I stopped on the other plant during this period. Also excited to see the FIM plant develop :p.
Day 29 August 27th: Did major defoliation on all 3 today in prep for flowering stretch :)
Day 34 sept 01 : huge growth! canopys are looking niceeeee!
Day 37 Sept 4th - huge growth today. These girls are almost taller than my first plant now, and they still got more time to stretch! Super excited for these plants, I got 1 plant with a perfect circle canopy and the other 2 are still taking shape. Canopys are evening out very well now, LOST TRACK OF THE FIM PLANT LOL, I will find her tomorrow and point her out.
Day 39 Sept 6th - Just insane growth on these girls. Flower stretch turned them into monsters!
Day 42 Sept 9th - Keeping tent way cleaner from now on, still have more to do. These ladies are getting very bushy. I can and need to defoliate them again this week ASAP. I am impressed with how they turned out so far, but allowing more light penetration during the 3rd week of flower is going to hopefully get me thicccc colas up and down the branches.
Day 43 - defoliated and lollipopped :)
Day 45 sept 13th - Switched light schedule back to a 20/4. 10 AM off, 2 PM on. Dehumidifier working flawlessly, cool temps all week as fall rolls around. Plants are doing very well as I prepare them for mid flower :)
Day 47 sept 15th - Pistils are poppin like crazy, looks like these gals responded very very well to the defoliation. See you in a couple days for next week! :)
Day 48 sept 16th - Just amazing growth
I overfed them at the beginning of the week and one plant experienced some major nitrogen toxicity, and the others some leaves burned. Learned my lesson, I will be giving them overall less nutrients now. But also why the fuck did I feed them with veg food("grow big") , I blindly followed the feed schedule, dont do that! From now on ill be sticking to bottle recommendations and also just use a little more common sense.
Day 54 Sat sept 21st - After a lighter watering yesterday they are all thriving again. Need some minimal trimming and watering tomorrow probably :)
Day 64 - sept 24th: Large plant PPM = 2400??? apparently lol going to flush her with sledgehammer next watering
Other two plants PPM = 1000 which is pretty good, even though they got nute burned to shit. Just used slegdehammer on them for a flush, as I realized the last time i flushed the soil with it was 4 weeks ago when flowering was starting. Man time flies! But I can notice the plants are beginning to get some nute lockup but I went through this once with my last plant so I know how to treat it easily :).
The larger plant seems to be a little bit further ahead and will probably finish first! The two short stacks got super fucking bushy again even though I trimmed them up so nicely not so long ago. Think I am just gonna let them do their thing, Im too lazy to trim again and they need to not be stressed out so they can really focus on bud production now.
Not really giving them any nutes atm, just flushing and watering to fix up some mistakes lol. When I do feed them in probably like 2 more waterings, I will give them just tiger bloom and big bloom in whatever dose i see fit. Not too heavy of a hand though.
Day 68 sept 29th - Fed them cal mag and a little bit of bloom nutes last watering (2 days ago). Gonna give plain water tomorrow. Monster pheno looking frosty afff, some pistils are beginning to turn amber today :).
Oct 5th day 68- Sorry I haven't been being diligent with this journal. Only have pictures from wednesday.. Been battling leaf deficiencies for the last week or two now. I believe the plants are suffering from a bit of temperature shock/root shock as we transition into fall. Getting some cold ass night temps, but also hitting 75f during the day which is perfect :p. Had a 100 degree day here in the beginning of week, so thats why I believe temp shock is the issue. Poor plants are seeing temps from 60f to 100f in the span of a day LOL. Hopefully mother nature will start working with us here during the fall. Though the plants don't look amazing, they are flowering hard and now finally in there last phase of flower. Late flower, time for those colas to plump up! :)
Week 11- Sorry guys haven't been updating diary much, I have been really busy paying attention to these plants, They aren't doing the greatest but they are still nugging hard and getting really frosty. The smell is amazingggggggg. It's hard to pick out all of the smells because it seems like they are all exhibiting some different smells. Some more flowery smelling and some are more skunky smelling its crazy. Overall its DANK AF xD.
Anyways, Monday was the last feeding for them, I will be feeding just plain ph tap water to finish out the last week. Look out for some trichome pics tomorrow, I skimmed briefly over them earlier it seems like they are mostly clear/cloudy , so 1 more week should bring out some of the ambers and it will be perfect timing for chop! :)
Harvested on day 81, Friday Oct 18th!
I saw most of the trichs were cloudy with few ambers. May have pulled them a weeee bit early but fuck it.
Cut at the base no wet trim, hang to dry for a week or how ever long it may take (doing branch tests). Drying conditions 60-75f at 40% RH :).
Will update with harvest when I get around to dry weight and curing :D Hope you guys enjoyed the grow as much as I did, happy croptober!
