Week ending 08/06. Germination began Sunday, July 28th, then planted them the following Tuesday. Germinated for just over 30 hours, and the Super OG's would not crack, while the bubble and the AK were ready to go. used mycorrhizae root magic, and both the AK and the bubble sprouted by evening of 08/01. Could not get the third OG seed to pop, but seed one sprouted 08/01, and seed 2 sprouted 08/02. All the plants had humidity domes on them until the evening of 08/06. They're all pretty much the same height, and growing very quickly! Backed the lights off a bit, increased intensity to about 50%, and added hay to the top soil to help mitigate the drying topsoil!
Week Ending 08/13. Plants didn't have much vertical growth this week, but boy did they bush out. Still Ph'd plain water only, will add nutes next week. One of the Super OG plants has a weird mutation on it's leaves. initially I thought it was a nutrient issue, but realized it was select random older growth. I'm going to monitor it further, but they are cruising!
Week ending 08/20. I pinned the plants down last week, and topped them. They have really come along since,. The two top growths on each plant have come through fully. Fed with nutrients this week. No new weird growth for the yellowing plant. Growing along awesome, not a ton of vertical growth this week, but they've seriously bushed out.
Week Ending 08/27. Plants began to flower and stretch this week! i let them run a bit dry, set he lights to 25 inches above the tallest plant and will lower to about 18 inches over the next week while monitoring. All the tops went well, except the bubble turned out to be more of a FIM. The one Super OG plant with weird phenos is growing super strangely, with only half the leaves of half the plant having a weird super green color. I don't believe this is a deficiency of any kind, because the affected leaves are split in color right down the middle; there's no rhyme or reason to the discoloration!
Week Ending 09/03. These girls are moving right along. Saw some serious growth this week. The Fimmed bubble has produced a serious amount of bud sites, and the topped plants have really stretched out. The Super OG plant with the strange pheno has also been progressing steadily, I'm not too worried about it, but it looks so strange! Gotta love this plant!
Week ending 09/10. Fed nutrients without Grow Big on 09/07, then again with Ph'd water only on 09/10. There has been plenty of new growth, with some fade going on in the lower leaves. I'm going to step up the nutrients a tad this week to compensate for such an early fade at this early into flower, but otherwise these plants are killing it! Plenty of new growth in such a short time, and I haven't noticed any issues at all!
Week ending 09/17. These girls have had an awesome week in terms of overall bud-site development. I feel like they needed a bit more nutrients than I gave them, as there was some serious discoloration on the lower fan leaves, and I felt it was a bit too early for the girls to already be canibalizing itself. Overall, steady week nothing crazy to note on. Can't wait until the profile on these plants show through a bit more!
Week ending 09/24. No Grow big this week. The buds have had some shocking growth this week across the board! They've easily doubled in size, but have slowed down their "flower stretch." The Bubble is the shortest, however it has the most developed budsites, and due to the FIM, has an even cola canopy across the top. All in all, a great week for these girls, and I can't wait to see what kind of growth we'll be looking at next week!
Week ending 10/01. Bud sites have nearly doubled in size in only a week. There has been some serious development going on. I noticed what appeared to be a small amount of cal-mag deficiency on the Bubble auto, and have since corrected it. The Super OG with the strange pheno has begun to produce buds that are half sunshine yellow, and it looks incredible! Can't wait to see what these mutant buds taste like! Also, the flower stretch has, for the most part, stopped and the growth has really been going to the buds width at this point.
Week ending 10/08. Solid week for bud development. They've completely finished stretching now and are putting their energy into fattening up the buds. Still a few weeks time left based on trichomes, but they're moving along very nicely. No issues this week, but the Super OG plant with the mutation looks incredible; the bud is two toned with bright green on one half, and sunshine yellow on the other half. I cannot wait to see what it's like when it's totally finished! Fed their last nutrients today, and I plan on monitoring them, and adding only Cal-mag as needed since they seem so starving for those nutrients, and I don't want to starve these girls too much. (one of the trichomes shows what looks to be a hair, welcome to the world of dogs! haha)
Week ending 10/15. Wow, these girls are really starting to finish up fat. Had a mishap this week: Something got jostled, and while we were away, the carbon filter fell off and destroyed half the bubble plant. Luckily they're super close to finishing, so I put the branches up to dry. I'm going to give the girls another week, trichomes are showing a bit of amber, but I think one more week will be perfect. AK has some fox-tailing due to genetics. One work week, get excited!!
Easy grow, great yield. I would grow these genetics again. The color and flavor profile is incredible, and overall output is astonishing compared to how easy it was to grow!
