Tally ho! Just getting these two little dinafem beauties going. I added my nutrients now because I know what I’ll be using as soon as they are rooted. Looking forward to a fun and relaxing project.
Thanks for lookin’!
Still in the interim here and the roots have just tapped the rockwool cube and are on the way to the slab. I don’t know that I’m a fan of the slab because it uses much more water and takes longer for the roots to reach the bottom of the tote which in the past has been when things speed up. In an auto time is crucial and while I see the advantage for insurance in case your reservoir runs dry and in the case of a photoperiod in building a larger root structure I don’t know that I’ll repeat it in this scenario.
I love watching them shoot when the roots tap! This lady definitely put it on this week. I’m hoping the progress continues even though I’m on the fence about using these slabs. I’ve got two pumps but manual watering with the tubing seems to help. I’ve also increased the watering times.
I’m not sure exactly what happened when she started to flower but the stalk bent at the base and she lost her bottom fan leaves. I thought it was possibly over watering and I thought there was no way she was going to make it. Low and behold she turned the corner and is stretching nicely although I would’ve like to see the plant another foot taller before doing so. Given the circumstances I could t be happier. We’ll see what transpired over the next few weeks.
She was touch and go couple weeks ago and you could never tell it today! Originally what I think happened was the stalk was over saturated so I toned back the amount of watering and ran a stint of florakleen to back it up.
The blue kush is a savage auto from dinafem. This plant almost died in week one of flower and I missed that weeks entry because I was more interested in saving it than that weeks diary. She’s at week three day four and a beast. Filling out nicely even though her neighbor is crowding her. She’s required very minimal pruning and all of her bud sites are producing worthy keepers.
Not much has changed with her structure but the real difference is in density. A few or the pistils are changing color and she is starting to drink a little less.
Despite being absolutely crowded out by the behemoth Pineapple Express next door this earthy pungent beautiful plant isn’t taking any crap. Her colas from top to bottom are rock hard and text book. I can’t wait until we get a chance to actually see what is behind plant number one!
She almost got stem rot on week one of flower and came back much stronger than I could’ve anticipated. The buds are some of the most dense I’ve ever seen which I why this medium sized plant has such an astounding wet weight. The main cola could be used as a club.
She was widely hidden from me behind the neighboring plant and I was surprised when I put the microscope to her and saw that it was ready after a mere 6 weeks of flower. I took a small middle flower to double check and all sides were cloudy with Amber trichomes. I’d really like to try this strain again and complete the tent with it. Because of its great density and trichomes she’ll be a great one to try out in the press.
The rotate and text type box are still NOT working on iOS.
Oh yes, Auto Blue Kush is hitting full bloom mode now and those buds have exploded 🤗
Looking on track for a very nice harvest mate 😁
Until next time 👊
All the best ✌️

@DinafemSeeds, I’m working overtime with the dinafem genetics Mark! They are always proving themselves to be some of the most consistent and strongest genetics I rely upon. I’m just about to take them to a commercial level so keep them coming our way.
Really impressive bud production my friend 🤗
