Popped these seeds a couple days ago, plants are about 4 days old. Before someone tries to point it out I know they "say" to plant autos in there final pots but this is the way I've always done it. Aslong as you are super gentle on the transplant I have not had any issues. These plants will be going from these cups to there final resting place in a few days. I've got one photo period plant currently in the box I grow in that's coming down in the next couple days so in the meantime I've been transferring them from inside to outside (when my lights are off for the 12 hours). Nutrients are obviously not exactly what I used on them this week and I dont update them on a week to week basis as I find every plant is different you just have to find what works for you and go with it. I'm super pumped to finally give these seeds a whirl, time to sit back and enjoy the ride!
Sorry wasnt around this weekend to update so I'm a couple days late. Things still going well topped them yesterday other then that nothing else really to report. Tried to upload yesterday but site wouldnt let me upload pics.
Things going good, these plants are so easy to take care of. Probably the reason I like to grow autos so much haha. The heights between the 2 are average. The smoothie is sitting at 7.5 inches and the cream cookies at 5. Was worried the cream cookies was a bit stunted but after reading about the strains on the fast buds site the cream cookies will just be a shorter plant. Hoping to see some pre flowers in the next week or two but as of now nothing yet.
Couple days late here was another busy weekend. The preflowers have finally really started to show themselves the last couple days. Going to give them a good feed later with some pk nutrients to give them a good boost. Noticed some rust looking spots just starting to form when I shut the led off for the pictures. Now to sit back and watch the magic happen!
Had a minor problem this week, started to flower and I put off my first feeding which was starting to hurt the one plant. Some minor on one leaf of the other. I have now given 2 feedings of thr bloom feed so hopefully things will turn around.
Would putting off my first feeding for a day or two do this much damage to the plant? I've given it 2 feedings since then and hoping it's on the right track as the new growth is nice and green.
It looks more like a Cal/Mag issue. When in flower the plants use a lot more Cal/Mag. The upper leaves and buds are stealing nutrients from your lower leaves. With autos it typically starts showing up in the leaves around week 6-7. The deficiency probably started back in week 4 when growth increased. Even though you have been adding Cal/Mag all along there may be an issue of soil ph causing lock out of the nutrients or a possible excess of another nutrient blocking absorption. There are certain proportions for calcium and magnesium that need to be used since excess of either micro nutrient can actually block out the other. Potassium 4 parts, Calcium 2 parts, Magnesium 1 part. I would suggest increasing your Cal/Mag dose to 2 ml per liter since this product contains nitrogen you need to account for this if using another nitrogen product in order to prevent nutrient burn. I also agree with Spinner
about ph I woulds suggest using 5.8-6.2 for watering and feeding. If you have hard water even when you adjust the ph if you leave the mix sitting there for 1/2 hour you will see it "bounce back up" to a higher ph. This bounce happens more often than people think. Not sure if that is the case with your water supply. If your water is more than 200 ppm in TDS I would suggest using reverse osmosis or distilled water to dilute the tap water down or in half this will help you maintain a constant ph. Also when your plants are large enough to water the entire pot measure the runoff ph and PPM to give you a better idea what your dealing with.👍
Can anyone recommend me a fairly inexpensive but accurate ph meter? I ordered one from amazon (the best seller) and upon calibrating it it's so all over the place with its readings. I need something I can trust and dont have to calibrate all the time?

HM PH meter. I bought it from my local hydro shop at 50 bucks, 40 on Amazon, and found it holds its' accuracy pretty well. There is another waterproof model for more money. I used the older yellow/cheap ones from amazon and they are all over the place... This one I check every couple of days and it will normally raise .1 over 10-14 days. I use GH hydroponic solution (7.0) to check it... If you wanted you could leave the PH meter (the sensor) in the PH solution all the time, as you are supposed to keep the sensor wet. I tried it but ran out of solution pretty quick.. so I stopped doing that. happy growing! 👊
Got my little problem under control, you can still see some of the damage it did but new growth is looking good now and things are really starting to explode. Hopefully finish up down the home stretch without any more issues, everyday counts at this point.
Things still going well, the smoothie is now being flushed out. Would have loved to keep this plant going but its internal clock isnt going to allow me. Wont be a super big yield but some nice rock hard nugs none the least. The cream cookies is still going strong although I see some yellowing starting. Both plants are now happily homes under my new 1000 watt king led light. (Upgraded from a 600 watt philizon that did treat me well)
This stuff smells absolutely amazing! I have never in my life smelt stuff with as much of a berry scent to it. I havent actually smoked any of it yet but I think I'm going to very pleased with the end result!
This stuff smells amazing, was hoping she would hang on a bit longer but at the same time happy it produced the hardest nugs I've grown to date. Not a super big yield but should be around the 2oz dry mark. I'm determined though to get that nice heavy yield I'm chasing so I have fired up another 2 of these to try my luck. Also just got a new grow light so can double my number of plants in the box. Cant wait to try this stuff tho then will update more!
Going well, time to flush though so gave it its last feeding today. I like to think I can get another 2 weeks out of it but hopefully a week atleast. Will be taking it day by day at this point.
First week of flush done, hoping for another week then time to chop. Need to make room for others that will be taking up the room soon enough! Buds are really starting to swell.
Beautiful hybrid fast buds has created here. Just a bit more on the indica side then the sativa side. Perfect for night time smoke but also wouldnt leave you totally couch locked on a lazy day at home. I enjoyed growing this so much I have already started another seed!
Tried this stuff last night and well the guys at fastbuds have amazed me again. You can really smell the almost coffee upon busting. I couldnt figure out what it tasted like until the third hit. Tastes like a dark roasted coffee with a hint of chocolate to it. Not a super big yield but it's only me in the house that smokes so I'm beginning to prefer these 2 oz plants just for the variety aspect of things. But with that being said if I get a beast of a plant I'm going to chase that big yield if it will allow, happy growing all!
you have to calibrate them too... but much easier and more user friendly than the other stuff ive tried www.youtube.com/watch you may have alittle action before using the pen ( cleaning and calibrating) but you just have to calibrate every 30 dys

@Northnut,well in wasted a few " cheaper ones" and in the end they were not too cheap... 2 of them and i woul have had a bluelab.... so the more expensive ones are crap too.
@Mrs_Larimar, oh trust me I know they gotta be calibrated. I used to work as a lab technician. If only I had one of those ph meters I used everyday but they're so damn expensive. I think the China cheaply was just defective right from the beginning.
Hi, nice start looking good. I have a couple questions if you don't mind me asking? What is root farm? Is this just a roots stimulant or does it contain NPK? I also used Advanced Nutrients for this grow cycle and am curious to know if you've been using Big Bud from the beginning? Look forward to hearing from you.

@OhcanaDAbiz, ya I got lucky with atleast one good seed out of that batch from crop kings, I wont ever order from them again. Would definately be happy if I could come close to that everytime if I could but its definately hard to do with these autos. I love growing them but it seems like they are so up and down as far as yields.
@OhcanaDAbiz, I'm telling you that plant was roughly 7.5 ozs I cant remember exact figures. The one bud I cut off it was as big around as my forearm, it wasnt the volume of bud that made the weight surprising it was how hard the buds were.

@Northnut, I would also keep an eye on your light distances 20 inches seem pretty close for a 600 watt light I would use the manufacturers recommendations for distances. Sometimes Cal/mag will help your plants deal with light stress better. I just replaced my ph meter only this time I spent a bit more money on a Hanna ph meter with replaceable probe. My last one was way off after comparing the two. They need to be cleaned and stored properly use storage solution or they won't last.
@Philindicus, thanks I will give that a whirl, I've been giving it cal mag almost every feeding so I didnt even think of that. I'll also adjust my ph lower but was scared to really mess them up with it going too low. I think my ph meter is also on the fritz a bit which definately wouldnt help the situation any either.
@Fast_Buds, it smells so good I cant wait to actually try it, not the biggest harvest but I got another 2 started I'll be making another diary on and with any luck I'll get an absolute monster!
I'm also Growing Cream Cookies, I tried a little topping experiment where I topped the main cola as well as the remaining 4 side branches so she is small in structure but she is going strong, better than I expected to be honest. Check it out sometime.

Had a look this morning and the yellowing is starting to pick up a bit, going to keep flushing out and picking the completely dead leaves off in the meantime. I dont like to cut down early as I saw how much that can hurt your yield in my first grow.
Now with the smoothie auto gone I can focus my new 1000watt light right directly over top of the cream cookies, this plant is starting to become a beast. Hoping she hangs in there for another month!
Forgot to upload this weekend because I wasnt around, figured I will just wait until this weekend to upload to keep things on track. Everything seems to be going better now that I have addressed the small problems. Stay tuned!
