Monday:
I put up support because the branches obviously wouldn't recover them self if I just let them be fallen over.
Thursday:
Gave both plants 4.5l water.
Haven't taken down the support net, not sure if I should. Last time I grow a plant this way that grew to 65 cm it had problems keeping up at the end, so I would probably just need to put it back later if I took it down.
The upper leaves, those in the center and getting the most light, are losing their color. Since the problem seem to be worse nearest the light, I am going to believe the light is still a bit to bright for the plant. So I raised the light a few cm more.
Because of the deformed double branch in the front right corner, that won't get any light from the light above, I put up the light at the bottom. It might be a bit to lose to some of the lower hanging buds, but I can't really put it anywhere else if I want some light to the deformed branch.
@TheQuibbler, no worries, 4 grows , is 400% more then my experience.the soilless medium does have some npk in it to last the first few weeks, but i do run a basic AN set of nutes after a few weeks. Narrowed it down to ph or lights (i hope). Cheers!
@@greenpinky, Not sure I am the right person to seek advice from. This is only my 4th grow.
I can't give you any information regarding the t5 lights, I've only ever used led.
I saw you mention you are growing in a soilless medium, but not giving nutrients. I might be wrong, but shouldn't you be supplying nutrients from the start if you are not growing in soil? Since there is either none or very little nutrients in something like coco choir.
@TheQuibbler, i just posted a pic and description of my light set up in the c99 diary. I had started the seedlings under some 35w t5 tubes but they just kinda stopped growing so i moved em under the bigger lights. Any thoughts on that setup. Light stress maybe. Im at a loss.
@amazongrow,
As you are not the only one who have commented on the size for the current week.
I want to ask if you noticed that I don't count flowering from the switch to 12/12 but rather after the stretch when the plants are mature and fully in flower (pistils all over).
it's very interesting to watch your diary. I wish you a huge harvest of buds.
What do you prefer to use a Bong or a joint. 4-20 Bro.
subscribed and watching your grow.👍
@EZgrower,
Can't say I prefer one over the other, but I do use bong more often. I tend to forget the lit joints when gaming and end up with ashes all over my table / keyboard / mouse.
@kubie,
Do you have experience with the sativa stretch?
I've only grown indicas before, where a 30cm tall plant would stretch to about 60-70cm. I read that indicas will double in side indoor, where satives will triple in size. I flipped these plants at only 25cm, hoping it will end up at about 70-80cm tall..
@TheQuibbler,
Thank you so much, your plants turned out gorgeous. I was trying to search around for similar diaries.
I'm guilty of having my diary off by approximately 8 days....they're about 135 days old now. And I do know the day that i flipped to the 12/12 so at least my flowering time is correct...but I'm in the 7-8 weeks now and my trichromes are still pretty glassy looking, but basically all the pistils have changed color and curled. I usually find most plants i grow end up being a week or two past the "estimated flowering time" so maybe my c99s will be like yours, pushing that 9 week area.
Thanks for the tip from the female reps.✌️
@Experimentgreen,
I have been counting "flowering" from when they are fully mature. I find it incredible weird that people count from the switch to 12/12.
However, I asked Female Seeds when they start counting, and they said from the switch to 12/12, so technically my plants might have been "flowering" for 9 weeks.
I'll update with the harvest soonish. Kinda messed up my curing; I didn't know how to rate the weed and then kinda forgot about it.
