Hi
@Grnhead05! Indeed, temperature is a crucial factor when it comes to hydroponic systems. On the one hand, high temperatures will negatively affect the aeration of the nutrient solution, the plant will be more susceptible to suffer from root pathogen attacks. On the other hand, a too cold environment will affect nutrient absorbtion, increasing the risk of deficiencies and/or "seedling melting". If you cannot get the environment temperatures down (below 24°C - 75°F) then you must cool down the water directly, using a water cooler, they can be pretty expensive but it's 100% mandatory if your water temps remain above 20°C / 68°F. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need further information. Happy growing! 👊
