Hey everyone. Thank you all for your answers. Again a little late in this entry, pre flowering seems over now and the stretch is in full force. It gained almost 10 cm in a week. I started to increase watering, will stabilise the amount and start blooming nutes as soon as the soil gets dry again. The first plant is a little shorter than the other and the internodal space seems shorter. Still no infestation, even though a few insects liked a few bites on fan leaves here and there. See you next week, thanks again for the support.

Trichomes just showed their heads before the start of the 4th week. Should I start with the flowering nutrients right now or wait until the plant gets a little higher? It's 24-25cm high now.

Seeing as it is an auto flower, its likely just reached maturity and has started growing some preflowers. I wouldn't start feeding any flowering nutes just yet. Maybe give it another 3-5 days and see how developed the slowers are at that point. I remember it was about 5 or 6 days, from the first signs of pre-flowers, before flowering officially had kicked in. I would feed a very light dose of flowering nutes while maintaining your veg nutes once flowering starts and the stretch begins. During stretch the plant still needs a lot of nitrogen which is why you dont want to completely swap to flowering nutes until it has finished stretching. Might also be a good idea to look up the feeding chart for your nutes and see what it says.

After inspection using a microscope i found a very tiny thrip, so tiny it is invisible to the naked eye. I am a week or 2 from harvest, the only insecticides that i have are black soap and neem oil so no treatment. What can I do? Is there any risks(bud rot for example)?

If you only have a couple here and there don't stress mate and don't spray with anything as your probably just going to create mold. I'd just wait till harvest then sterilize room pots and get new soil

@StalCair, If you want to go with the neem oil it will kill them immediately. It's strong stuff so follow the directions. Your just starting to flower so you can squeeze in a treatment or 2 if needed. Leaf miners won't really be effected since they are inside the leaf but it will kill the flying adults that lay the eggs.

@Philindicus, hey dude. There are quite a bit of insect traces here and there. Just spotted another thrip, might be some mites too and even saw one leaf miner inside of one of the lower leaf. I removed the leaf infected and ordered black soap and neem oil to apply to the plants. I hope it will work if it is not too late. Preflowering is almost over and applying neem oil leaves a bad taste. Should i just use potash soap?

Kill those thrips. You have a couple of choices I see a few pistils showing so shes about to start blooming. You have time to use some insecticidal soap/water mixture just follow the instructions for mixing it. Be sure to get the whole plant under the leaves the stems and soil surface this will kill the adults and small larvae. Don't keep her in the sunlight until she's dried off to keep the leaves from burning. If there's just a few you maybe got lucky before they lay eggs but do a follow up spray about 12 to 14 days later. It's soap so you can always spray your plants off later with a ultra fine spray from a hose nozzle to wash off the soap residue. Also add some yellow sticky traps they like the color yellow. Next choice would be Azamax which is stronger but lingers longer. I would only recommend this for use in veg not bloom.

@Philindicus, thanks for the fast answer. I will spray some in the evening on one single leaf and wait 24hours to make sure it's not bad for the plant. If i'm good i will spray the whole plant. I'll answer to this comment to give you a follow up.

Hello StalCair, i understand your concerns. I had an invasion of hubndreds of thrips a few weeks ago. I threw 3% hydrogen peroxiode mixed with 2 parts of water into my medium too kill them from down under, and then i sprayed deltam bioquant on the stems to kill the ones on the plant. 1 day later there were none to be found still to this day. So i recommend you act quick and kill them as quickly as you can. Also in higher tempretures there lifecycle is shorter. I hope this was an helpfull answer. Keep on growing my friend. Peace 👍

With soaps, coverage is very important as it does not stay on your plant for long, so follow-up applications may be necessary. Although this is considered safe, avoid getting any on your buds! So basically turn off all fans if you have any. Then cover buds with plastic sandwich bag spray infected leaves. Take sandwich bag off immediately after. This is the best option other than doing nothing letting it ride out

She looks like she's coming along nicely. Dealing with insects is just part of the hazards of growing outdoors.
