Day 22: Thursday Sept 5, 2019
0430h
Looking good. TRCBD lagging behind the GG#4, not sure if that is my fault or just a function of being an auto vs a photo? Figured it would be the other way around. Time will tell. Ordering Reefertilizer this weekend. Likely cutting back to updates weekly or every few days, as needed or as thoughts occur. Will try and take daily pics though.
Day 25: Sunday Sept 8, 2019
1300h
Tonic Ryder is so small in comparison. I don't understand. I have reached out to other growers familiar with Ryder genetics, mostly on Reddit since im new here, but so far no explanation. Should be well into growing it's 5-pointers by now as far as i can tell. Both plants pictured above started the same day.
1620h
Burned one in the tent. Ventilation is awesome, no smoke or smell in the house outside of it at all! Was kinda sorta trying to see if it really would keep the flowering fragrance trapped and can confidently say it will. Couldnt even hotbox, the smoke drew into the filter real quick. PROTIP: if sealing yourself inside a tent for a sesh, do not lose track of the zipper. It will make the paranoia worse when you cant get out.
Day 26: Monday Sept 9, 2019
1330h
Lookin good. Small progress but getting there. Colder temps coming at night now, curious how it will effect them. By setting the 6 hours of dark to mid morning, hopefully the house isnt cold enough to effect the grow.
Day 27: Tuesday Sept 10, 2019
1630h
GG#4 is looking good. First layer of 5 pointers just popped, going to top at the next one probably some time next week. TRCBD starting to show signs of some three pointers, nice to see a little progress. All feedback and advice has been positive. Just received my ReeferTilizer today, going to start with next week's watering
Why is the Tonic Ryder so much smaller than the GG#4 even though i started them on the same day in the same earth? Is it a function of the different genetics or am I screwing up?
It's all about the genetic , some strains are slow to start and some are slow to finish. Some strains are more vigorous than the others but it is not really a clue about the size of the future trees : the smaller could become the bigger
@AncientGreen, Ahh, i have to verify my email to reply! Sorry it took so long, eh. Yes, i figured since its my first time indoors an auto would be a nice starting point. The other one is a photo but i figure ill just keep vegging and topping and lst'ing until the auto is out of the way, then switch to 12/12 and flower the GG#4.
