I would be careful of spraying anything chemical on your buds using a biological control would be your best option. If it doesn't control the issue you would have no choice but to chop her early unfortunately. It looks like you have her partially covered I would try to keep her as dry as possible. Hope this helps the specific strain is Bacillus Subtilis QST 713 non-mutated /non-genetically modified. @S_Dubz, I hear you about the freaking out your getting so close yet so far from harvest. Not knowing exactly what strain is causing the bud rot lend to the issue. I had one grower who thought it was bud rot then opened up the bud after removing it and discovered a cabbage worm was creating the damage. If it is a true Botrytis this is spread in the form of spores that can spread very easily just by contact and dripping water,hand contact,etc. If you have a local university agricultural laboratory some time they can test it and tell you exactly what it is and suggest alternative treatments. In terms of doing some defoliating I would strip the leaves completely from the lower 25% of the plant then thin out the center/middle of the plant just to open her up a bit. Finding the right strain of Bacillus Subtilis is the key some strains work better than others it is not cheap also finding fresh products that haven't been sitting on some store shelf for 5 years or cooking in the back of a shipping truck for 4 days age and heat kills microbes. Maybe next year you can add it into your routine as a preventative. Like I said the season isn't over and a lot of growers in the northern areas are already dealing with similar issues. @Philindicus, I was previously worried about wind burn (ha!) because my fan setup is sorta intense. I've been keeping fans off at night. NOT no more. don't care about wind burn anymore!

Hi @S_Dubz, nice monsters in here! I think there's nothing to worry about, your plant seems to be auto-regulating its system, by getting rid of the leaves that can't get enough light. Lower leaves often fall by themselves especially after the preflowering stage where Nitrogen consumption was at its peak. Let's see how this goes with time but if it's only the lower leaves, do not panic, let the lower parts breath and make sure the whole plant has a good airflow.
