Using Dr. Earth organic fertilizers, watering approximately 4 oz water pH of 6.5.
LSD, Cheese, and Blue Amnesia sprouted on day 3. Gelato sprouted on day 4.
Removed cup domes and fully watered pots on day 5. Started fan.
Day 8 - First set of leaves growing larger, new tops just starting to show. Watered today with 1/8 gal ph 6.5, damp coco at .75"
Day 14 - Coco is 7.0pH. Soaked medium with 1/2 gal 6.0pH water to runoff, drained drip trays. Runoff tested at 7.2pH.
Day 17 - Medium still wet from last soaking on day 14. Leaves on two plants curling and discolored, other two plants discolored to lesser degrees.
Day 20 - Medium dry, watered lightly pH 5.8
I'm seeing some discoloration, and it's spreading to the newer growth. I have been watering at pH 6.5, but upped water to completely soak the medium. How much should I let it dry out between waterings? Organic dry amendments, mycorrhizae, and CalMag.
I think that they will need some extra nitrogen in your next feeding except if you have some in your organic amendment. If you can low your ph to 5.8/6 it will be perfectct ( 5.8 is the coco Sweet spot )
Bouncing back from a round of overwatering and Magnesium deficiency. I was under-supplementing with Cal-Mag, and slowly raising the amount of water given until the medium is dry on top, but barely moist beneath. Measure your water and supplements, people! 😀
Finally flipped the lights to flower after all plants started showing pistils. More LST, pulling out towards the perimeter so light can penetrate and pull the tops to the middle of the tent.
