These are freebie seeds I got with my order from Seedsman via the Bitcoin Promo.
I've got one of these in a 3gal fabric pot, and the other in a tiny little compostable paper cup that I will transfer to a 3gal fabric pot once my other plants are done in the tent. For now, this is in a tote in my basement since I do have 4 plants flowering already that should be done in the next week or two. Once they are done, I'll move these two Diesel Autos into the tent to finish up.
8/30/2019 - Planted the seeds
9/2/2019 - They've sprouted! That was fast.
9/6/2019 - The plant in the little pot decided to die on me. Sad. I'm not sure why that is, but I'll keep on growing the one that made it.
10/14/19: Whoops! I put these too close to the lights for the early part of this week since being moved in the tent. They got a little droopy. It's not that I'm overwatering them, as that's one thing I'm trying to be careful with this grow. I've raised the lights, and as of writing this (a day after these photos) they're already looking better.
Aside from being droopy, they're continuing to grow and show signs of flowering on the newest branches.
Excellent tight node spacing. Not sure if that's due to the 120w CFL bulb the first 4 weeks.
I'm doing water only from here on out. According to the schedule for this variety, it should be wrapping up. A few of the main fan-leaves are starting to die off, but being the bud is so big I'm not worried. Probably just a late in life thing.
Continuing to water. Trichomes are not ready, and the hairs still look young. I'm now a couple weeks over from the breeder's estimated 9 week time frame.
The main cola is looking awesome! It's rock solid! I love the colors! I've checked the trichomes and most, if not all, are milky. I'll hold off on lights-off until it has some amber trichomes. Most of the main fan leaves have dried up, which hopefully indicates it is getting closer to maturity.
Sadly this plant is still 3 weeks overdue. Maybe that's the reason to the giant cola? I wonder if it has anything to do with me still running 18 hours of light on them (for the sake of the little plants in the same tent).
12/15/19: Woah! These are the biggest buds I've ever grown. I'm very happy with this plant, even if it took 4 more weeks than anticipated. Drying now and will report back once done and curred.
f'ing love this strain... tempted to grow it.
Look forward to keeping up with your grows, i'm following as of now. Im growing a few similar strains check out my progress, i'd love to hear your feedback.
