Hello, friends! Welcome to my diary! Probably, experiment is a big word. Eventually real experiment (in our case) means using various stimulators from different producers. I just want to know for what purpose I buy so many expensive additives. So, I will set two separated Drip Irrigation system in the box (3m x 1.5 m). Each half of the box will has lighting 900W Yesterday I cut 75 Chronic SS clones, I dipped them in rooting gel and stuck them in Grodan cubes. Tap water. Previously, I leveled PH. I don’t do it now. Light schedule is 18/6, two tubes 18W 6500K. The bottom of the greenhouse is heated up to 27C. I’ve tried different temperature, it is best to take root. At the first three days I don’t open clones, then ventilate two times a day. Usually the desired number of clones gives roots by the tenth day. The first roots appear at the 5th or 6th day. I don’t know how it will be this time, knock on wood)) While they are drinking, I moisten the cubes. I take the syringe and poured into the each cube a little bit. I hope 50 clones with good roots will be among 75 clones. Clones are clear in this time, thick is 2-3 toothpicks, and sometimes is 4. About my box. The first is ventilation. It is not enough in the heat for 600W x 3. Perfect is m3/W. I try not to grow in the summer. Now it works good. Fan Box glued inside with sound-absorbing material. Fan 1000 m3 are regulated by transformer. I have one meter of silencer and about half meter of Sonodec hose. In general, I haven’t problems with the sound and the temperature. I secure the lamp with hook and chain. Reflectors Adjust a wing medium. They are cool. They good illuminate with 600W lamp the square 180cm x 130cm. The lamp for vegetation is Sunmaster 600, for blooming is GreenPower 600. I made the sprayers myself. I bought tubes in growshop. The tube diameter is 4cm. I made holes for tubules using the drill (3.2mm). Easy aquarium pump pumps to 100 tubules and more per 1000 liters. It is good system because there is always the water in the tube and the air can’t enter to the tube's ends. After each growing, you should be not lazy to disassemble and wash all tubes. I blocked the one tube only once. It’s clearly visible in the photo The second day: Today I’ve seen that 60 clones among 70 have taken the roots. So I’ve planted them quickly. I switched on one MH bulm 600W. Poured each bush with 500ml of solution 1200uS(Coco A and B, root stimulator and enzymes). I try to keep 5.8ph. They will recover three days, then it’ll be start of vegetative stage under the light The fifth day: Finally, clones have started to grow. I planted total 57 clones. Each is in 3.5l post, a total of 200 liters of coconut (4 bags). 2 clones didn’t start to grow. So I have 55 clones. When they grow up a little more, I'll choose 50 and 5 clones will be for procreation. I will be waiting 4-5 days til they are determined who's who. I’ll put on the edges the strongest and healthy clones and closer to the center under the lamp a weaker clones. So it’ll be more or less glatt SOG. Then I’ll set the drop and pull the net. Now I pour with 100ml of solution 1200uS every day. After setting Drip Irrigation I will pour only nutrients at the left part , booster and bloom stimulator (at the flowering stage) at the right part

The first blooming week has gone. It’s ok. Both groups are alike. The feeding is the same 1500us, PH 5,8. Together they drink about 20-22l, or 1 bush drinks about 450ml The 23d day: They’ve started to bloom on the 9th day of flowering. I’ve started to add PK13/14 0,3 ml per liter. The total EC is 1700uS. Both groups develop alike, only 4 bushes were lifted on 7-10 cm in group without stimulators. This is my nutrients in the photo.

Both groups develop with no apparent differences. The solution is the same. Today measurements that they drink 38 liters per a day. This is about 750ml for each bush or 8 liters for 1m2, it’s very good. Some days I’ve thought about one problem. I use one tank for solution and one tank for drainage, each is 90l. One time I had problem with timer during irrigation, and the entire solution has flowed into the tank with drainage. It’s annoying, but not terrible. So I have two tanks for solution and one for drainage. Not fit. So pump works through 4 timers I haven’t invented anything better. I set two windows for irrigation and еру exact time. I’ve tried already. Four timers shouldn’t stuck simultaneously. Of couse, it is not 100% guarantee, but I sleep better.

Three weeks of flowering. Everything is ok. I try but I don’t see the difference between groups. Four days ago, I changed the bulbs, now three Green Power 600w illuminate. They drink a little less, but enough (together drink about 30l per day). Feeding is The first group Coco A&B 1.5 ml/l 1500uS, PK 13/14 0.6ml/l 1700uS, Atazyme 2ml/l The other group + Coco Booster 1.5ml/l Bloom Stimulator 0.5ml/l PH 5.6-6.0

This morning on the 61st day of flowering I noticed mold on the one bush. Without thinking I’ve started to cut all of them. I did not take any chances. Certainly they haven’t finished flowering. They need one more week. I can imagine that the group "fertilizers + boosters" weighs more. It has more heavy bushes and fewer small bushes, just one. And there are 6 small bushes in another group. But we are waiting weighing. After about a week I can say the results, if Jah will help

Week 12. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Well, our experiment has ended. The group "fertilizers boosters" is winner by weight. It weighs 1098 grams. The other group weighs 977 grams. The total weight is 2075 grams. But there is one thing. If the six clones (about which I wrote before) were lucky with the roots, then the difference would not be 121 grams. In general we can conclude the stimulants are water. I decided, that I will not buy them again. Till the end, I was sure that stimulants produce up to 30% of weight. I have a little more than five hundred grams of leaves around the cones from this cycle. I wanted to do water hashish, but saw video about extraction in dry ice and decided to try. Ordered 6 pounds. I did not buy the net specifically, I have bags for ice extraction. I do not know dimensions of cells, just two bags. I took 150 grams of leaves and about 200 grams of ice, and shook it. First through the small mesh, I had 3 gr. Then through the big mesh, I had 12 gr. And this has stopped. Grids were clogged. Or rather they were damped because of the temperature difference. So for me it is the best way to fight off the plan. And a good output, 1 to 10

Yes, I have timer, two times a day during the flowering stage. The first time is at dawn, the second time it pours up to 4 hours before lights off. I tried 8 times a day, no difference. It depends on size of pot, smaller pot should be watered more often. Drip irrigation isn’t reversible. Drainage is approximately 30% of the solution. I can’t say anything about the formula, it's never bothered, but it is 7-5-13 NPK on the packing, you can see in the pictures. I always use prepared nutrients. Now I give solution 1200-1300uS. After 2 days give 1400 uS, after 4 days 1500Us (1500uS will be till the end). I add only PK 13/14. The total EC doesn’t exceeds 2000uS.

I follow the experiment! Bro, thanks for your explanation about sprayers. Do I understand correctly that sprayers have timer? (How often do they drip). Is drip irrigation reversible? if it’s not difficult tell how you pour. Thanks in advance P/S It's realy cool!

It’s crazy, Bro! You did not mention modestly about 1.15g/W. And + 400gr of leaves around the cones it will be 1.37 gr/W

Great growing! I have couple of questions. (I think, it’ll be useful for everyone) 1. Is there drainage in the pots (polystyrene, expanded clay)? 2. How to calculate the amount of watering? Plants are growing, drinking more and more
loneju
lonejucommentedweek 129 years ago
1. It’s coconut 2. It’s coconut Read about it, and you will have no questions
damm
dammcommentedweek 129 years ago
It is not clear with irrigation : during the growth of plants is the timer programmed in the direction of increasing intervals of pump's operation, but how does it calculate?
loneju
lonejucommentedweek 129 years ago
I count irrigation on the basis of drainage. I pour with drainage in 30% every time. For example bushes drink 30 liters per day. 30% of 30 liters is about 10 liters of drainage. If 7 liters leaked, I increase the time on the timer. If 12l – decrease. Of course, small plants can be watered with a minimum leaking and all will be well. During the growth I begin to measure the solution and drainage. After one cycle with your own irrigation system, you will already know how many plants are drinking and how much to pour. About drainage. In the beginning, I had put to the bottom expanded clay and foam. Over time, I refused this. It's no matter the pots are 3 or 10 liter. Everything wonderful grows.

The height of bushes is 90 cm on the average. The distance from the floor to the bottom is 35 cm, the distance from the lamps to the floor is regulated, you can see it in the first page of this diary.

In the last photo, I see a lot of fallen leaves, which is not good at the blooming stage, it can be decay or something like that
kenilina
kenilinacommentedweek 99 years ago
Classy report! I see extensive experience in growing, not far from 1gr/W, and plants look properly. The concentration of the fertilizer is not much high, but you know best in this matter. And about the smell… as I understand, you have only one filter 500. It is not enough even for half of your box, but I think you know it. I say again, everything is fine, nice to look at the ideal
colindabr
colindabrcommentedweek 99 years ago
The roots are not thick. But I think it’s normal in such intensive cultivation. They need time to develop the substrate ... The color depends from the photographic equipment and coconut. cool! I look forward to the harvest. May be density or tarry will be changed? What else can be the difference? At heart, I convinced that the differences will not

how much in percentage ratio is the second set of "fertilizers + boosters" more expensive than the first set of "fertilizers"?
loneju
lonejucommentedweek 109 years ago
The fertilizers cost about 50 euro: A+B x 1.5 l = 10 euro/l PK13/14 = 10 euro/l Enzymes 2l x 12 euro Boosters cost about 80 euro: Coco Booster 23 euro/l Bloom Stimulator 1.5l x 37 euro It is roughly 60%.
