Hello all.
I'm a new grower looking for advice and guidance wanting to try things out on grow diaries. Grow forums seem to have so much conflicting information on them.
I have a Kind Led K3 L600 grow light. The plants are in pro mix HP.
After transplanting a week before i did some lst to open up the canopy
I am using General Hydroponics Flora trio. I was told to use the 3-2-1 (Bloom-Micro-Grow) method by somebody but i hear that is was to strong of a mix.
I was thinking of doing 3-2-1 but at half strength. Has anybody tried at half strength? Does anybody know the best strength to use this stuff.
If I remember well the mixing order matters with GHE Flora Series. So you always starts with the Micro ( mix it ) then add tha Grow ( mix it ) and finish with the Bloom ( mix it ) , the extra cal mag or PK are the last elements to be mixed. The reason why you have to fo it in that order is to avoid salt precipitation in your mix. I've tried it all the possible ways and schedule but it always appears that half strength is not enough so after the 2 first watering ( half and 2/3 strength) I use the full dosage. You can even go deeper by using the Lucas Formula which is a GHE aggressive schedule using 16ml of Bloom and 8 of Micro for each gallon of water and my EC was always 1.8 in flowering ( from the 1st day of flowering to the last )
yes that would work well i try them before depending on strain you might need less but i alo see you started budding which mean you dont need floragro anymore that was only for veg stage now its budding
Looks like they are starting to stretch and hairs are popping up everywhere.
Can anyone share their general hydroponics flora trio perfect strength recipe???

@STUNNED_ONE, The only thing I would recommend is having a bottle of Cal/mag on hand and work some into your nutrient routine.When those buds start growing they really drain the rest of the leaves if it's not available in the soil. Best to keep ahead of it rather than wait for it to show itself. Good luck with your grow
If you are using the Flora series remember that it is a 3 part nutrient. Which means that using only 2 parts is not recommended except for the use of the Lucas formula. The reason is simple , the grow bottle have the calcium and the bloom have the magnesium ( or the opposite ) so if you change the formula you also change the Cal mag distribution
