Things are going pretty well. J is stacking up some nice little nugs. Smells like straight artificial blueberries. One of the best smelling plants I've ever been around, no doubt. T2 is pushing right along as well. Definitely gunna be upgrading lights before long. I'm thinking some COBs. Found a site with DIY cobs so I'm thinking I'm gunna build 4 100w units and make a shelf to grow on. Just some ideas floating around while tweaking what we've got as it is.
10/20 update: the buds on J are looking phenomenal! The original vegetative growth is still funky but I didnt exactly expect that to recover. That being said, the sugar leaves and the buds are waaaaay beyond expectations. T is slow goin but the structure is just beautiful. The smell is more old school chronic-y mixed with berries than J's straight up candied blueberry aroma. Both plants are gunna be small, but we made a few mistakes early on that will be corrected on the next round. We started germinating 2 more fastberries and 2 blackberry autos, which with any luck will be under a new lighting system before too long.
The lower main leaves are losing color quickly and have small spots forming. It came out funky from the get go, but this also happened to the first true set and I just pruned em. Now, its moved onto this set. Last picture is the problem leaf.
Yellowing leaves from bottom up can indicate a nitrogen deficiency. Looks like you are feeding a root stimulator and then bloom nutes. I’m not sure it will have high nitrogen content. But I would always test the soil ph before deciding how to progress. Bad ph can look Like different nutes deficiencies, because it locks out different nutrients, depending on the ph level you are at. I found that over using a root stimulator’s beyond the first few weeks set me up with high ph last grow.
@fullauto, that's what I was thinking so I picked up some calmag yesterday. Just waiting for the pots to dry out a bit and then I'm gunn hit em with calmag
@Ferenc, we've had a box fan in there since we started, after doing a little more research, it seems best to no run them with all of the bulbs. The idea is to move the lights with the plant as needed. I think next time around, I'm gunna spring for some COB leds since we'll be doing small autos for awhile. We can legally have 72 plants at the house so we plan to ramp things up eventually, but for now, we're keeping it small lol
@Ferenc, thanks bud! Looks like we're gunna be starting a battle with heat now that we've got the trons up and running. Check the rooms this morning and it was in the high 80's 😟
Hi. I had similar issue with leaves. Yellow spots, then later turn brown and the leave fall down. Maybe they need calcium and magnesium. I get a improve from my last grow giving calmag supplement from week 4.
Good luck.
