I think I'm at the end of the second week of flower, tho since it's my first grow and because of the light cycle beeing essentially the sun I'm not quite sure. Around a week ago my flowers and some petioles turned a dark purplish color, I'm not quite sure why but it might be a reaction to the quite cold and wet weather. The last few days I had a few yellow dying leaves, therefore, I increased the amount of nutrients I'm feeding otherwise I think the plant is doing well

Nothing to worry about it's genetics. Your going to have some good purple bud. And the cold temps your growing in likes to bring out the nice colors from your Gene. And what I mean by genetics is your ak 47 parents. Good luck

Looks like genetic but could also be a result of cold temps, nothing to be worried about :)

Original AK47 strain is a hybrid of mostly sativa and indica. Different breeders have used different genetics to create their versions of AK47. Since we are dealing with seeds there could be many individual phenotypes. It looks like your lucky and got a purple phenotype who doesn't like purple bud. Purple AK 47 is not some thing that is unheard of it's just the luck of the draw or a genetic throwback. Hope this helps.

Nice one! Yeah I don't know that strain specifically, but darkening/purpling is often related to heat and light capture attempts so you're probably not wrong that it would contribute to that, other than genetics. The other things closely related would be phosphor, sugars/carbs/brix and anthocyanins, and since your plants are flowering nicely now you might want to consider increasing phosphor/sugars/oils a bit. And yes, all of those things would STILL influence a plant with genetics that has a tendency to purple/darken. I'm of the opinion (having grown many varied random hybridized strains), that, in general (not always) I'm not fond of easily purpling plants, they're hugely overrated and that they're often somewhat genetically deficient or suited for rather specific conditions. That plant looks very nice though, keep it up!
