Gonna change the light schedule from 13 hours to 12/12 hours next week. I plan to buy the Meanwell led driver next month after my own DIY version achieved such a low efficiency almost 50% of electric bills were wasted into a heat caused by the cheap Chinese step-up module.
This is last week for foliage spray application any nutritions after this week must apply through watering only or the final yield can be contaminated. Since my habitat been in the beach area, Humidity issue is a big deal and costly to fix it. RH had shown on the barometer always skyrocket at fungus friendly 80-85% and stay in this range 24 hours. It forced me to run an AC once a day in order to decrease RH and it achieved 54% @ 22-degree Celcius (That is the best number 12,000 BTU AC can do) but after AC turn off, RH start raised to 80% within 2 hours, Risk a chance the final product will become airly and catch mold. I found the solution by using the UVC lamp bath my plants everyday 1 minute a times it works great at fungus and mold elimination but the downside of using the UVC is the bulb produces a lot of ozone and a high concentration of ozone can be fatal to plants,Furthermore, Ozone've got an odor elimination properties, Use the lamp without caution can ruin the smell of your bud ( UVC can burn your eyes too, Alway put sunglasses on during operation.)
CRI is how accurately the light achieves its rated spectrum. The higher the better, but as you approach 80+ the difference is pretty negligible for how much extra it tends to cost to get 90 vs 80. I believe a lot of the leds high end grow lights go with are 80CRI but ive seen a fee that claim 90+ for a crazy price increase. Heck some of the lights ive seen that claim 90CRI cost so much that i could buy 2x the amount if 80CRI lighting. But essentially yes, if you have 2 of the same lights, 90CRI will grow plants very slightly better than 80CRI though i wouldnt spend the extra money for it.
The bud keeps swelling it's the best time to increase light intensity by 50% for good, Another 7 weeks to go. ( Maximum powers of my grow light combo is 800 W according to datasheet but it'd been run at 280 W since week 10 due to technical difficulties of the power supply)
Surprisingly this strain feel not as strong as i expected but the good sides is most of the smoker who had this strain didn't get a side effect like dry eyes or cotton mouth just nothing! after a full joint you can even kept working on your job without freak out. I recommend this strain is the best idea for daytime smoking. most of the effect is your body'll get so light along with clear mind.
This strain is incredible good. I dare to say this strain is the best strain i'd ever grow in past 2 years. Not just me but every body who had this strain most said in the same ways such the intensity when the Phantom OG hit you in 3 minutes yet it effect last longer than 1 hours (this is the effect i got from a bottom bud site to be honest i do not noticed a lot of trichromes from it but i don't know how can it be that strong even the bud with lowest THC content) , it's smell so great yet got a very smooth taste. This strian is the future where the humanity can go outter space without a rocket (BElieve me or not it took me to the moon once)
@THCaddict, Oh the whole global warming theory! May be it has to do with the fact that it's actually the end of the last ice age and we have been on a warming trend for 10's of thousands of years. As the polar ice caps melt the natural wobble of the earth increases making it come seasonally closer to the sun. Yes ,of course we are adding to/speeding it up. So I'm only a partial GW denier.
@THCaddict, Nice looks like your on to something good. I think your right about a lot of these supliments are way over priced for a bottle of watered down ingredients that problably don't even contain what they claim.
@Philindicus, There were Methyl cinnamate and Ethyl butyrate. Keep in mind this is experimental you might know a supplements brand "Botanicare" they got a product name"Sweet" mentioned it can make your bud smell more fruity even a plants genetic were not designed to smell like that. After spent time digging down to the ingredients I found it consists of water, Epsom salt, and unknow scent agent. Then I did the test with native plants with Amyl acetate to prove esters might be the answer by adding it along watering in low concentration and the result appeared in 2 weeks. 50% of the scent profile had changed, proved my hypothesis.
