I’m sorry to inform you guys that epic tragedy struck a couple days a go, my fan fell on my babygirl chopping off atleast a good 1/4 of my canopy, as you guys know this is my first grow so I’m devastated, I was putting my heart and soul into this plant, my moral to grow died with my branches, I probably won’t be posting week to week just because I’m not into it mentally right now, just thought I would share this with the community, sorry to everybody who was looking forward to seeing her potential.

I identified some white wet spots on my fabric grow bags, please help me identify if this is mold or not and if so, what should my next step of eradication?

Hello! I am a huge fan of URB and came across your diary. I believe the white spots you are seeing on the fabric pots are nothing more than leeched salts from the nutrients and not mold. I get them on my fabric pots as well. Over time, the buildup can cause the fabric to get clogged and the aeration is not as good due to the restricted air flow. I usually replace the pots after several uses since the buildup can get extensive. You can spend the time to soak or wash the pots, but in my experience, it is just easier to buy new fabric pots when the residue becomes a problem. I would also recommend putting something under the fabric pots to help allow the bottom to drain better. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Sorry I meant to add , all of those tiny little lowdown budlets need stripping out to give her even more energy fornher main buds. this stuff below will be "popcorn/Larf" and once dried , virtually pointless but it robs main buds of vital energy keeping them going without the light to feed them properly. Any tiny budlet on the stem low down will be a "sink" for all the goodness that the mains need , they are similar to damaged leaves in that respect. all take for no return . have a read up on lollipopping too. It is a brilliant way to ramp those buds up to cola cans too. Thisnis what i meant about the missing section from the fan fall. don't worry at all. These are hardy little sods.

Great veg man👍 most beautiful canopy I have ever seen😍 Good luck with bloom. And yes you can easy remove like 25- 30% of green mass, all fans that covering every single bud structure.

Absolutely amazing canopy. If I were you, I'd defoliate the bottom little ones along with fan leaves and then around another week or so, defoliate the top fan leaves a little bit and thats it. But wow. good job.

@MaryJaneUSA, thanks man, and yea I think I will get to a couple at the bottom, I just did a big fan leaf defoliation a couple days ago, so I’ll probably wait a couple more days. Thanks for the advice.

Maybe dont sweat it at all. she is a huge healthy girl and will use the missing chunks absence to redirect her energies. she will throw it to the remaini g buds and also worry about what attacked her and risked her buds. She will defend herself and also do her upmost to ensure survival of the remaining flowers. This could be an accidental lollipop ping which she will breeze through. dont be disheartened. you will be grateful come trimming time that she is not as big as she was. chin up and enjoy the recovery of this amazing looking girl.

Don't give up! It still big nice plant. Was all this 5 branches completely broken? If they been still hanging on a bit of plant tissue, u could use strong tape and attach it back together. It will heal itself in 2 weeks.

@smoking_hills9, thanks fam, ima keep at it, most of them were hanging but the cuts were deep and tissue was exposed, I tried to tape and support them anyway but when I came back a day later they were completely dead, so I cut them off.

@JackFrost17,You wont regret it mate . I get how hard 1st grows are with no reference points to remember ect... This doesnt get better the more we do either.heehee. I still feel down and convinced around week 4-5 of flowering that" they are ten times smaller than they were the last run !!!" .Thankfully they never are we just get used to how amazing the final buds look and anything less than that is " failing". lol. More than happy to help anytime I can. hit me up anytime. I will join your fun journey with you for company too if ok. onward and upward to crystal castles on spike matey.

Hi @JackFrost17! These are the nutes leftovers, or so called "salt buildup". Nothing to worry about. They will disappear with a good wash after your harvest. Happy growing!
