OK you may have noticed, I AM TRYING an LED 150 watt BESTVA ( it says 800 w equivalent but that BS as we all know) £105 - first one was faulty but it came recommended.
things will be a bit purple.....
but on the plus side it gives me interesting pictures, light is 24 hrs on...in a 80cm x 80 cm x 1.8m tent
lux reading was approx 20,000 at the top of the seedling.
distance from light approx 2 feet.
i have to say it looks pretty healthy,when its a bit bigger i can move it but until then its purple... :)
Canna Aqua Vega A+B 10 ml ( i estimate that there is approx 10 l of water in bucket ) might be more its a bit of a feel thing , basically to approx 2 inches under the netpot.
it could all go tits up, who knows, ????

after looking at the pictures i thought it looked like the leaves were curling up a little so i thought the light might be too close, i took a lux reading and it was 40,000 so i moved the light up and now its 30,000

13 10 17 - friday - cant believe how well its grown - water temp is a bit high but i dont think it will matter, i might have to get a chiller, i forgot the light being on 24 hrs will heat the water :) EC is 1.1 = +0.7 of base = 350 PPM
added 1.5 ml of Mammoth microbials.
WOWOWOWOWOW -BESTVA LED ( 800w)- she is rockin, im just amazed, this LED is the nuts for little plants, im not sure what to do she is growing so well,maybe some suggestions?

it seems so healthy, this is literally day 22 , im happy but sad, as HPS is out for vegging from now on,this LED pulls 150watts , wow, im sure 4 of these would surpass any 600 w HPS.

Sorry guys been so busy at work, I have forgotten what day im on, maybe some kind soul could work it out for me,anyway we have changed buckets to flower nutes,i gave the light a little rest , so here are a few pics with the light off,so far for Veg the LED is unbelievable.look for yourselves , its been on 24 hrs, its 150 watt draw from the plug.I also me a very old friend who showed me his 315 watt ceramic ,1 plant ,10 ounce monster, and gave me some moonshine, thanks ;)
and yes today it was 23 hrs 30mins on, I m actually thinking it might prefer a little rest at night now. And Bombseeds you promised it would stay under 1m .....getting bloody close. 😀

Cherry bombing like a maniac, 24 hrs sun, just a monster, I have had a conversation with the seed breeder and he has never seen anything like this before, there was even talk of it being a photo by mistake!!!!!!! but then it wouldnt of budded would it.. :)
eating water and nutrients like you wouldnt believe, if you missed it for one day it would have drastic consequences. it drank 300 ppm last night, and 4 litres of water.

I ve had to move the light to the side and i ve managed to get another one and stick it in the opposite corner, its a bossled 900 watt ( 150 draw) Dimable Cob , who knows what will happen,i just dont know what to do with it, its too late to train or cut...lol.....anyone got any suggestions, the stem on this i m going to make a cricket bat out of....at the bottom i reckon its as wide as a coke can.All i can say is obviously the mammoth and the silicon works wonders, not forgetting the Cannaboost which imo is beneficial to ANY nutrient setup, yes A N as well.... change the Nirvana for Cannaboost, thank me later.

it had a huge munch last week, and has just started to steady off a bit. I was putting upto 5ml of flores a day in diluted in 3000 ml water
but please stop growing...
she drinks like a monster, upto 3L a day.....maybe more i put a whole bucket of water in this morning thats almost well... i dont want to even say.
Update - I don't know if this is going to bud correctly , it seems to be very thin for 9 weeks 🤔
After a quick discussion I am going to switch into 18/6 light , otherwise I don't think this will ever stop growing ⚡

going to 18/6 now to try and bring the budding on....
still drinking 4+ litres of water a day but not sucking the nutrients, im having all sorts of issues with the size lol ,and i think LEDs take longer.The sheer a mount of water now means i have to keep the tank at EC 1.2 ( +0.8) or 400 ppm, as it gets too concentrated. This one has amazed me, but will it go the distance and produce some quality buds? I really fkin hope so as the smell is amazing....
Well its been a struggle, she drinks the most amount of water you ever seen, she is gettingthere and has a wonderful sweet smell, LED s take longer with bigger plants, its a fact, the interesting part will be what happens when we add a HPS for flowering, i like the LED veg, its amazing you can practically control the light to the lumen,the buds they from could be so much better with a slight HPS injection,who knows maybe some bright spark might come up with one. :)
I think ive burnt it , as EC was impossible to control, I think if i ever did this as a commercial venture, you would need the reservoir systems,I have seen a few on here, and one of them looks the nuts.probably quite expensive, but hey its worth it.
FLUSHING - looks really sticky, smells lovely,sweet,fruity Im thinking the OOZE is doing this, but it could also be LEDS.
I had a slight accident when i was flushing ,as i have to lift the roots out, but i squashed a few tops.....i think they will recover.
tops recovered, phew, luckily i wont have to change again, it still drinks like 3 litres of water every day, crazy...
A lovely fruity strain, such an amazing smell, It grew a bit maniac, but it has some nice buds, Im not sure why it grew so big, the buds are very compact, and tasty.I trimmed about 5 ounces then gave up, the rest can goto the oil foundation.Smoke is fruity and sweet, bit of a creeper, gets you VERY Stoned ,does leave you with a dry mouth. Highly Recommended, Indica main hit, difficult to play piano after.. lol.

this is a beautiful smoke, smooth,sweet,relaxing,I recommend you try it,It really is so close to being the top, but as i can have only one favourite,this is number 2.Even tho the buds were a bit spindly the quality of smoke is exceptional, if she had nt grown so big i might have got better, but hey ,experiments are experiments.!!!!
it grew too big, i dont know why, i had all sorts of issues with the height and because of that it had lights on the side,I love the taste, and smell, and Indica hit.0
please note - it was 2050 grams wet, and ive pulled 165 grams dry of superb frosty buds,you have to try the OOZE people.00

@BigDaddyK, I found their 800w that's 150w actual power consumption for 80 bucks...ive made due with these mars hydro 300's for about as long as I care too...BESTVA also makes cob lighting too...im not sure what to go with but at this point I'm thinking of grabbing one of the 800w and giving it a go for 80 bucks they have a 3 year warranty...cant lose for that kinda money I guess?

Hey I am confused by your numbers. You have an 800w LED or 150 W or 1W? And the weight yields (dry) were 4677 g or 165g or ? I looked through your diary for clarification, and it wasn’t clear to me what happened.
@BigDaddyK@growdiaries - I’ve had issues with the gallon vs liters inputs too—it looked like I was using way more nutrients than I was because of it. I tagged GD so they could be aware of the bug. Thanks for the clarification, and I hope the bug and your data get fixed. The data is very confusing right now.

I would love them big bud autos bro...I'm running Cherry Bomb Auto next so I am super happy you have this diary up and going...I have been waiting for this my friend...I have my pencil ready the bell just rang and class is in session...I'll be following this along...taking notes and seeing what I can pick up from you on this...I am curious how the flavor of this will be myself...I have never had anything like their berry bomb in terms of flavor and I'm pretty sure I could be blindfolded and pick it out of a line up as soon as I tasted it...I would imagine this strain to be the same way...at any rate whoever gets them free seeds is a lucky mofo and should be thankful...that's pretty damn solid of you to do and we could use more growers like you on here bro!!!!
I noticed in weeks 6-8 she doubled in size...gained around 30 inches or so...but from week 8 to 9 she only gained around 3 inches...so maybe she is slowing down on growth...I hope you grow more from this breeder and soon...you said they haven't seen anything like this...I would like to see you do this again with a different strain...not a doubt in my mind you can bro...plant structure wise and such I think you should give the THC bomb AUTO a run in the same tent with same light and see what happens...and thanks for being so helpful and getting right back to everyone of us new guys interested in what your doing here and helping us find a good light on a budget...solid work bro much respect!!!
Man they looking good. I've been looking into leds for a while. But your defo convincing me. What model are you using. I've been looking at that mars one got some good reviews or bestvia leds
@Sillyasswhitedude,@islandgrows89 I would use either 2 of these or 2 of the cobs , or one of each lol . They draw 150 watts , but you need to move them wider apart than the bigger model, the heat difference is insane . it's too early to comment on flower tho.
I had a seed last year that took 3 weeks to pop. Was one of the strongest plants (vegetation wise) I had ever grown. We would take and put her outside during the day and bring her in at night. She survived tomato worms, aphids, and lizards that really liked her leaves :)
I have a lux meter on my phone that I used for my outdoor setup...just didn't know if I could go by lux readings with the led too. I had read somewhere that led light is more penetrating or something. I'll lower the light to where I get around 20,000 lux and go from there. Thanks buddy 👌

How about her lower legs? Look like she has a bunch of junk in her trunk down there? This is awesome bro...any defoil to get light in there or anything or she still a straight grow? Just trying to make an accurate fair judgement on the lights function...looks like she is gonna start bulking up and this is the part I have been waiting for...your gonna run out of tent!!!
@BigDaddyK, I understand...good work bro I know that the strains I grew from this company seemed to have a lot of junk down there to clean...not complaining in anyway but just was checking to see if you have done anything to slow her down at all...She is beautiful so far that light seems to be kickin some ass or at any rate this plant is loving it for sure!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude,I pulled some leaves off in week 5 , I think that makes it bush faster , the bottoms will be spindly , I should of pulled them off but it's just too big to fk about with . 🌱
just cut the top off the tent and hang the lights on the ceiling...lol...best advice I got bro...I don't think anyone else has these type of problems...I hope someday to be growing at this level for sure... if runnin down to the hydro store and getting a taller tent is out of the question then you better get some yo yo's ready stat and ride it out...they need to make a grow tent with an expandable top of some kind for these situations...at any rate I hope these buds swell and blow the whole damn tent apart!!!!
