Day 17;
Three days after the plant was quadlined and she starts to recover.
'Day 19;
The plant is fattening up nicely and the growing is starting to take off. She'll grow quickly now and it's soon time for another topping. She grows a bit taller than my other plants. She got a bit sun burnt from the stronger light setting, and some leaves look a bit scorched.
Later today I started the LST - fun!
Day 21;
She's developing well and will be ready for another topping in a few days.
I added Rhino Skin to the nute mix to help one of the other plants to heal after an injury.
Hi @korbus,
The cobs are much smoother to smoke than normal buds. Someone described it as "the smoke is like honey".
If vaping the cobs, I find the taste is better with buds, so I only smoke the cobs and vape the buds.
The effect is similar to the effect of the buds the cob was made from. However, cobbing decarboxylates the THC-A to THC so they can also be eaten as they are for a powerful effect.
If you are to make some cobs, I'd suggest to not use too moist buds and don't sweat it too much to start with, otherwise the cobs get too fermented and the taste is affected negatively.
Looks like an awesome harvest - well done on the great training and managing it to the end. I accidentally ended up with a similar plant structure after topping the wrong node - didn't realise it's referenced as quad-lining. Can't wait for the buds :)
@HazeyBobby, thanks mate! Quad-lining rocks! I used to call it star-training before I heard of quad-lining. I quad-line all my plants. To me it's by far the best way to obtain a good plant structure.
@IndoorUKgrows, Thanks, mate. The light is from https://www.perfectsunled.com/ They don't have the same light anymore, but you can see a pic of it at my week 1 photos. It draws 650-675 W from the wall. Each cob has a 50W driver.
@Rwein93, thank you. I had no idea what you were talking about first, but now I get it. 😁
Yes, Rainbows is the champ in my tent - and the smell is just amazing. I picked one of my next strains from the same breeder due to how well Rainbows grows.
