Getting less and less sunlight by bringing her inside under a light for less time. Transferred to a 1-gallon plastic pot and started adding a small amount of bio live to the new soil.
This Oakland Purp Clone was grown outside starting the first week of June. It grew perfectly on schedule as an Indica strain. It started getting bud rot around the fifth week of flower. It had preventatively been sprayed with spinosad(Monterey insect control) and Monterey disease control all along every week. I’m pretty sure I oversprayed during flower and between that and the weird humid weather, that is what caused the bud rot. I trimmed off the entire top part of the canopy and let the bottom flowers keep growing. I and harvesting once per week since the mold and spraying straight hydrogen peroxide on any bud rot or mold, trimming off those flowers and also misting that area of the plant with hydrogen peroxide(straight). It smells wonderful and has been doing well. The pictures are of the remaining lower buds. Some of them are ready to harvest and some I will let go a little longer.
Going very well. I have not seen/found/removed any more bud rot. I have continued lightly misting the triple strength mixture of Monterey Insect control, Monterey Disease control and Actinovate.
I harvested the buds that were ready enough they all had cloudy trichomes I saw a few amber trichomes on the leaves. She is much smaller now! The purple color is starting to really deepen more. Very beautiful! Very healthy too!
It’s getting colder at night so I started putting a cover over her at night.
She is still free of mold and bud rot. I’ve been checking the trichomes every day most of them are still glassy some milky trichomes are developing. The plant only has inner and lower buds left. Everything else has been harvested. The harvested bud smells really really great! It’s been tested and the smoke is smooth and the high is great. More details on the final outcome next week!
The grow cycle was longer for outdoors I think. I also let it go longer because I lost the top canopy to bud rot. Overall it was easy to grow. I am definitely going to use the ph meter from now on!
