Started the seed about a week ago. Soaked in spring water over night and then put her into a pete plug in the Root Farm with PH balanced water - seed cracked after about 72 hours - almost 2 days longer than the Grand Daddy Black I germinated at the same time. Transferred the seedling into a 6"net pot and a 5 gallon DWC bucket today. Ready for veg.

A pretty uneventful week and that's just fine. The Cream Caramel seems to be enjoying life in the bucket. Roots starting to push through and things are growing. Added some extra nutes into the mix this week and am using a simple carbon filter system (attaches to a garden hose) for water changes this time around, Onward and upward! 👍💪

Another easy week for this care-free girl. PH has been pretty stable and I've had to do nothing more than take readings and watch her grow. A little more juice in her mix again this week. UPDATE - OCT. 7: changed out the feed and halved the nutes. Was running way too a high a mix.

She and her tent mate, the Grandaddy Black, were the victims of my early over feeding but things seem to be straightened out now. I will say though, the Grandaddy Black reacted much more adversely than this girl did - she seems pretty hardy. Although she doesn't have the gargantuan leaves her tent mate does, she's becoming a bit of a beast in her own right. Topped her yesterday (day 21). I'm a bit shocked by the growth of the 2 plants in my tent at this stage of the game and hope I can keep things under control as thing progress. 🤞

Pretty trouble free week for the Cream Caramel. Gave here a light trim to get ready for flowering - will likely start some LST this week and spread things out a bit. Was hoping to top her one more time but don't think I can wait as I have limited height to work with in my little tent. New light schedule kicks in tonight. Away we go.

Day 35: The Cream Caramel is definitely the most chill of the two plants in the tent. Maintains pretty consistent PH and TDS levels. Gave her some very light defoliation and started LST. Changed up water and feed. Day 36: PPMs slightly elevated (605) and PH 6.5. Added 1/2 gallon filtered water and a bit of PH down. PPMs now sitting at 532 and PH at 5.7. Day 37: Happy girl. PPM 542 and PH 5.7. Humidity has been running pretty high in the tent (75%) over the past few days with the jungle like growth of my two plants. Defoliated her and and the Grandaddy Black pretty liberally today. Hopefully, I didn't get too carried away but I'm pretty confident both plants will recover like champs. 🤞 Day 38: PPM/553; PH/5.8. Added 1/4 gallon plain filtered water. Reservoir now PPM/422; PH 5.8. Already bouncing back from her defoliation and humidity in tent has lowered to 65%. Day 39: PPM 397; PH/5.7. Left her alone. Due for a top up and feed tomorrow. Looking lively under the new light and after her trim. Day 40: PPM 410; PH/5.7; Added about 1/4 gallon juice: PPM/553; PH/5.5. Sitting at PPM: 457; PH 5.7. Tied a few branches down to round things out. Day 41: PPM 422; PH 5.5. Taking a much better shape after being tied down and stretched out a bit.

A week of tough love for the Cream Caramel. Some significant defoliation earlier in the week followed by some LST to help get her rounded out. She seems to be responding wonderfully and already looking quite lush. Looking forward to seeing some flowers soon! --------- Day 44: PPM/563; PH 6.0. Added 1/4 gallon filtered water/nutes. PPM now at 563; PH 5.9. Very trouble free plant - her readings stay pretty consistent. Day 45: PPM/563; PH 5.7. She be chill. Thinned her out again today. She's ready to rock. Day 46: PPM/532; PH/5.9. Topped her off with 1/4 gallon filtered water with light dose of nutes - now sitting at PPM/542; PH/5.9. Day 47: PPM/542; PH/5.8. Add 3/4 gallon filtered water: PPM/626; PH/6.1 - 553/PPM; PH/6.1. Day 48: PPM/468; PH/6.1. She's hungry. Will give her a top off and feed tomorrow. Day 49: PPM/490; PH/6.0. Gave her 1/3 gallon filtered water and nutes - PPM 595; PH 5.7. Sitting at 511 PPM; PH 6.0

Pistils finally showing in the past day. Slower than expected but light leak may have been a factor as I discovered I had foolishly left two vent flaps open at the bottom of the tent... that another round of defoliation. In any event she seems to be on her way now. - she's filled out and luscious again after recovering for a couple of days. Keeping her nutrients pretty modest - she's not too demanding. Putting my scissors away and ready to sit back and watch her do her thing. ------------ Day 51: PPM/574; PH 6.0. Let her alone. Day 52: PPM/595; PH 5.8. Added 1/2 gallon filtered water - now at PPM/553; PH 5.6. Day 53: PPM/521; PH 5.4. Added some PH up - sitting at 5.7. She's become a little more hungry now that buds have started popping. Day 54: PPM/500; PH 5.6. Add nearly a gallon of feed - PPM/542; PH 5.9. Sitting happy at PPM 511; PH 5.8 Day 55: PPM 479; PH 5.5. Let her be.

Super content plant. Likes the mix I've been feeding her and she eats and drinks really well. She's starting to stretch and looking quite pretty with her bud sites taking shape nicely. I only wish there was more elbow room for the two plants I have in the tent - getting tight! --------- Day 58: PPM 616; PH 6.6. Added PH down: PPM 626; PH 5.9 Day 59: PPM 626; PH 5.7. Added a gallon of note enhanced, filtered water. PPM 605; PH 5.9 Day 60: PPM 616; PH 5.9. She's happy. Left her alone. Day 61: PPM 616; PH 5.7. Add 3/4 gallon of filtered water and nutes. Now at PPM 605; PH 5.6. Day 62; PPM 616; PH 5.6. Let her be. Day 63: PPM 595; PH 5.4. Did the rez change a day early as I needed to address a calcium deficiency with the other plant in my tent. After change PPM 637; PH 6.0.

She's doing very well. Gave her a little clean up today - removed some undergrowth that won't make to the top. Keeping her diet pretty much the same other than an increase in Cal-Mag this week - the other plant in my tent was showing signs of deficiency so I thought they'd both get a little boost since I've been treading lightly. She did a bit of stretching this week - grew about 5" taller! Looking forward to see some fattening of the buds! 👊 ----------- Day 65: PPM 668; PH 5.8. I think her drink is bit on strong side with PPMs increasing a bit since the rez change. Topped her off today with 3/4 gallon of filtered water to dilute things a bit. Sitting at 574 PPM; PH 6.2. Buds are starting to stack nicely and fatten. Day 66: PPM 553; PH 6.2. Let her be. Seems to be happier now that I've watered down her drink a little. Frost is starting to form around some of the buds and she's getting more fragrant. Day 67: PPM 584; PH 5.2. Gave her 3/4 gallon filtered water with light dose of nutes. She's now running at 553 PPM; PH 6.0. Day 68: PPM 563; PH 6.0. Let her be. Day 69: PPM 532; PH 5.8. Gave her 3/4 gallon filtered water/feed. Now at PPM 542; PH 6.2. Day 70: PPM 532; PH 5.1. Discovered my PH meter is toast and has been reading much higher than it should. Got a new meter and hopefully back on track. Thank goodness this plant is resilient. Gave her some PH up and sitting at 6.1.

This plant is a trooper. I've been running at much lower PH than my meter has been indicating but this girl has not really shown any ill effects - unlike the other plant in my tent that suffered a bit of a calcium deficiency. Her stretch has slowed down considerably compared to the previous week but she's still put on a couple of more inches. Bud sites are really starting to become more prominent now and I'm starting to get excited to see how she'll finish up. --------- Day 72: PPM 626; PH 6.9. Added some PH down and brought her down 6.0. No trouble for this zen plant - she seems quite content. Day 73: PPM 689; PH 5.9. Drinking but not feeding. Added 3/4 gallon PH balanced, filtered water: now at PPM 595; PH 6.1. Hopefully, this weaker drink is more to her liking. She's starting to get a bit sticky and her fragrance is getting more pronounced. Day 74: PPM 553; PH 5.8. Left her alone. Day 75: PPM 595; PH 6.0. Gave her 3/4 filtered water/nutes. Now at PPM 585; PH 6.0. She's happy. Day 76: PPM 616; PH 5.8. I gave her a about 1/3 gallon of plain filtered water just to level things out a bit: Now PPM 584; PH 6.1. Day 77: PPM 605; PH 5.9. We'll let her ride. Rez change tomorrow. She's quite the flower factory.

Pretty steady week - cruising along with no issues. Upped the Bloom with the rez change today, other than that, no change in her feed. She's stopped stretching and buds are plumping and starting to ripen. Like her namesake, she's starting to smell pretty sweet. The next few weeks should be fun. -------------- Day 79: PPM 658; PH 6.4. Just discovered I forgot to turn air pump back on after rez change yesterday. 🤦‍♂️Gave her 1/4 gallon plain, filtered water. PPM 647; PH 6.2. Day 80: PPM 626; PH 6.1. I let her be. Despite the air pump incident, she seems to be cruising along nicely. Day 81: PPM 626; PH 6.0. Gave her a gallon of filtered water/nutes: PPM 658; PH 6.3 - sitting at PPM 626; PH 6.1. Day 82: PPM 616; PH 6.1. She wants for not. Let her be. Frost, slowly continuing to settle in; buds plumping. Day 83: PPM 658; PH 5.5; Gave her 1/2 gallon plain filtered water and levelled her out at 575 PPM; PH 6.1. Day 84: PPM 563; PH 5.8. Gave her 1/4 gallon filtered water/nutes. Another pretty easy week for CC - even with the air pump being out for 24 hours: Doh! More and more hairs turning orange; her fragrance is very sweet and starting to get more frosty and sticky by the day. About 2-3 more weeks til the finish for her I think. Did a bit of defoliation earlier in the week and took out a couple of small bud sites that weren't going to be viable. More bloom in her bucket with the rez change today - would like to see things plump up some more. ------ Day 86: PPM 668; PH 6.7. Gave her a few drops of PH down and brought her down to 6.1. Took off a couple of handfuls of the larger fan leaves to improve light penetration and airflow. Day 87: PPM 768; PH 6.0. She got 3/4 gallon of filtered water/nutes: PPM 637; PH 6.0. Sitting at PPM 700; PH 6.0. Day 88: PPM 741; PH 6.0. Gave her 1/2 gallon filtered water. Now PPM 658; PH 6.1. Day 89: PPM 741; PH 6.3. I'll leave her be until tomorrow. Day 90: PPM 689; PH 6.1. Gave her 3/4 gallon filtered water/nutes: PPM 755; PH 6.0. Resting at PPM 755; PH 6.0. Day 91: PPM 741; PH 6.1. She's good.

Start of the flush today. Gave her a rez change of filtered water with Clear by Dutch Nutrient. Seeing a bit of yellowing around the edges on some of the lower leaves - potassium deficiency? Anyway, we're near the end so it is what is is at this point. We'll see what she does in here final days. ------- Day 100: PPM 353; PH 8.4. Gave her 1/2 gallon plain filtered water and some PH down and brought her down to 6.2. Day 101: PPM 347; PH 6.4. Gave her a little PH down - now 6.0. Day 102: PPM 366; PH 5.9. Gave her about 1/3 gallon plain filtered water. Day 103: PPM 347; PH 5.7. Day 104: PPM 372; PH 5.5. Gave her nearly a gallon of filtered water - now PPM 316; PH 6.1. Starting to see some more yellowing of the leaves as things die off and some nice purple hues coming out. She seems to be finishing really nicely. Won't be long now. Day 105: PPM 341; PH 5.8. Day 106: Very near the end. Will give her a few more days for trichomes to get a bit more amber and she will be done. Buds are looking quite ripe and between her and the Grandaddy Black in the tent the fragrance is quite wonderful - sweet and piney. Loving the leaf colours as she dies off - the black and purple hues are particularly sexy. Looking forward to giving her a taste. ----- Day 107: PPM 188; PH 6.7. Gave her some PH down and levelled her out at 6.0. Final days of the flush. Just giving her PH corrected filtered water at this point. Day 108: Harvest day! There were some nice buds under all those leaves! Gave her a quick trim, cut her down and hung her to dry. Normally I'd use my tent to dry but as the other plant in the tent is not quite finished, I've employed a wardrobe moving box to do the job. I put a little fan in there to circulate the air (not blowing directly on the plant). Can't wait to sample!

Genetics Cream Caramel cannabis strain is a three-way cross between #1 Maple Leaf, BlueBack and White Rhino. "Cream Caramel marijuana strain is a 90/10 Indica dominant cannabis hybrid. This herb was bred by Sweet Seeds in Spain. Cream Caramel is known for monstrous 24% THC levels and long lasting, up to 4-6 hours high. The marijuana plants grow beautiful dense buds with a good resin coat. As the name suggests, Cream Caramel has a strong sweet aroma with hints of skunk and spices. Breeders recommend growing this bud indoors, plants take 7-8 weeks to finish flowering. Good for evening time use." Overall I think she was pretty easy to grow despite some issues along the way - PH issues mainly (faulty meter; inexperienced grower). She was very resilient. I was pretty happy with her yield given I squeezed two buckets into my little tent and I think the upgrades I made with my air pump and lights made big difference to the end result. Looking forward to the next adventure. Thanks for tuning in!
