I have begun LST along with 1/3 strength nutrient feedings. She's thickening up on the daily. Growing anywhere from 1-3 cm each day. I will continue 1/3 strength nutrients until the start of flower as she's responding well to a less-is-more approach.
Fed her bottled water with Calmag+ in it to ward off calcium def. Also decided that I'd like to see how she looks naturally. Not going to do any training aside from the occasional defol. And tucking.
Thursday update: Exhale CO2 bag installed! This should reign in some huge ppm benefits. No longer suffering from Calmag issue too! :)
Exhale seems to be working well. I've noticed the temps in my tent drop down to 65 during the four hours it's dark in there. Going to be brain-storming a solution for this. Day temps and humidity are beautiful! Temps are generally at 85-90 and humidity is 60-78. Gave her a molasses watering today. 1tsp/gal.
Wow! What a week. She's doing gorgeously with the training and feedings. I will likely be feeding her Blackstrap molasses(5ml/1gal) for the majority of this week and on Thursday, I'll hit her with a new nutrient feeding.
Seriously in love with her frame! Starting to look real wide and bushy :)
One love, growers - And to all a peaceful and merry grow!
Ez week, ez plant. Plain water until Thursday. Thursday, Friday she'll be getting her first full-strength nutrient dose. Idk if my White widow is just that good, but both tangie auto and aurora borealis auto are nowhere near as developed a her.
She's doing killer! Love her structure so far, I can tell she's about to blast off within the next month! Not much to add other than that I've been feeding her molasses just bout every other watering.
Stay tuned, my White Widow Express Auto will be harvested soon! Her official harvest date will be between Dec. 17th - 22nd. Cheers all!
This is turning out to be a really successful and simple grow. Hope you all have enjoyed following along as much as I've enjoyed tracking these girl's progress.🤗🙌
Wow! I've been swamped with holiday shopping :0 sorry for the late update😵
Either way, my tangie dream seems to have some kind of wind burn issue mixed with nute burn. I'm going to lay off on the nutes aside from B.S. molasses likely for the remaining weeks. Kinda play it by ear. Other than that, she seems promising.
As for the missing week, I do believe I have some photos that I took that week. Just didn't have time to upload em. Still thinking of whether or not I'll upload them cuz the progress wasn't majorly significant.
This week I noticed a pretty low-profile tangerine scent when I open the tent. Obviously attributed to this girl! Responding very well to molasses feedings and the occasional big Bloom dosage here or there. Awesome weight to the main cola, just wishing she'd frost up a bit more. Give her a couple more weeks and I'm sure she'll be glowing :)
Cheers all and one love! 🙌
So she looks pretty burnt up to me. But her bud development hasn't ceased. Taking the precaution of flushing and no nutes from now on.
Aside from the overtly burnt appearance, her tangerine scent has begun to emerge. Smells musty, yet has citrus hints.
My planned ETA for harvest is 2 weeks. Whether i harvest sooner or later is up to her.
Really fun strain! Taught me a lot about balancing nutrient ratios, and just how different a plant can truly be from others. Struggled with keeping her fed on potassium toward the end of flower, but i eventually got it down.
Her main cola was 5 grams! Fingers crossed that bud will be about 3gs when fully dried. All-in-all a successful grow. If i could change anything with how i approached growing this plant, i would have been lighter on nitrogen, and used far more potassium earlier on.
P.S. If you're waiting on a smoke report, bookmark the grow and stay tuned for the 21st. :)
