Start day 1 after starting germination, healthy roots almost all at the same time. Put them in a really small pot to begin with worm's hummus (home made) mix with standard soil and volcanic charcoal (for drainage and soil structure, really easy and cheap here). 2 days in soil, they pop up nicely It has been a hot week, i hope from now on it will go smoother. Although the seedlings have respond perfectly to 29°C - 26°C (day-night) thanks to two little usb fan and and a small air extractor. Outside it has been around 35°C- 24°C (day-night).

Beginning of the 2° week with lower temperatures and higher humidity rates and the plants react to it, i left only 1 fan and didnt point it directly at the seedlings. I wanted to give rhem a rest from thz stressful couples of days. Very nice colour, 2° pair of true leaves appeared day 8 and they start developing some height and nods distance. So far the Pineapple Kush is bigger and healthier from the looks of it, so beautiful. Although the four of ther are growing at the same time (in height mostly, Pinneaple and Critical Kush have more width). Temperature stable in 24-28 and humidity rate also stable 50-60%. Plants developed some white fungus in the surface of rhe soil so i treat them with sinamon and started watering them from the bottom. They have responded nicely to the change of watering, absorbing it in no more than an hour. We finnish the week with 5 points leaves starting to appear in Pineapple Kush.

At the end of this week i'm gonna change the pot, i put hem in the floor loosing 5 cm of height to stimulate a little bit the vertical growth. Temperature and humidity stable (27-24°C; 50-60%). Plants responding good to the constant but not hard breeze. End of third week, changed them into the final pot. They have experienced an slightly decolouring but with the new soil and some worm hummus liquid i expect they will recover in a few days. Pineapple Kush and Critical Kush are starting to smell... delicious! Gotta put my nose into them and it is just the smell of a youngling but still very nice that first smell.

I gave them a dose of neem oil as precaution cause i didn't want to wait for the sympthomes of various plagues. With the new soil i won't need so much liquid nutrient but i give them 1-2 ml/l of liquid nutrient from the same worm-compost i use for the soil. Day 26 did the FIM cut, more than 4 real leaves nodes and before they strecht too much. Trying to turn them in littlz bushes rather than little trees.

The FIM cuts weren't successful with the Pineapple Kush nor the Critical Kush so on day 31, I did a second cut on those plants. The Royal Highness's FIM cut was successful, 3 heads going up. The Painkiller XL result to get a Topping cut (was a smaller growing head so it was more difficult to nail the cut). Although this one is the smaller so it doesn't worry me that it will grow too much. They don't have a great nutrient demand, giving them almost nothing and they don't show any signals from nutrient defficienty for now. Probably at the end of week 6 I will induce flowering.

Pinneaple Kush keep growing upwards! It's a little beautiful palm tree. I'm bending really carefully the main stem so then the other branches get the push up and maybe the main head will flower at the same height than the other branches. Critical Kush keep growing slowly but steady, main stem has stop growing upwards and it's developing de secondary branches real nice. Compact plant. Royal Highness develops the sevondqry braches so much quickly than the others. I'm bending them to make them grow more horizontal until flowering time. Painkiller XL is for now a small bushy plant compact but developing secondary branches real nice. Although is the smallest it doesn't show any sings of nutrient deficiency nor other problems. The bending is with the hands. Small bends but frecuently gives them the time to get used to the movement of the stem, there is then less risk of breaking it when i put the thread for the final bend.

Finally the secondary branches began to grow nicely and the cuttings worked regulating the height. I'm gonna give them few days more of 18h of light while i feed them with more concentration of worm liquid.

Begining to see the flowering changes in all. I realized the pH of the water was too high all along so i started reducing it with lemon juice (3ml/L). I hope the we'll see the plants using better the nutrients in the soil from now on.

Anyone have tips to reduce the pH of the water with reliable homemade methods? I'm trying to grow as more self-suficient as possible. Without buying products. Thanks for the help :)

Buy some ph down. Sorry but lemon is creating ph fluctuation as it had no permanent effect , you can make a test : mix you nuts and add lemon juice check your ph value , come back 4h later and check it again , you'll see that in getting higher. Check that link : https://mattgadient.com/my-attempts-at-adjusting-ph-for-plants-with-vinegar-and-citric-acid/

Slowly but steady they keep flowering. Each time i water them i make the mix with organic limes (for now i've had limes, no lemons) and they are responding well. I stopped the nutrient cause i suspect the soil is full but the pH in the water didn't let them use it so i let them rest. I spaced the watering to once every 2 days to let the soil breathe. HR around 60% at night, ouside it's like 80% so it has been hard to dry the growroom for the flowering.

Buds are smaller than expected at this point, i can see the disregulation of the pH for the most part of the vegetative stage made its mark. Allthough buds are dense and production of resin is going up, i hope the little buds will contact each other to make some bigger buds. Considering the little efford i've put and the almos 0 money spent in the grow i'm happy to see the plants grow beautiful. Awsome smells are now taking place, the differences are very much noticeable. Just lovely :)

Slowly but steady the buds keep growing and producing resin. Piniapple kush has really dense buds, will be awsome smelling hard balls of resin. Can't wait to grow it in big scale. Critical kush is very hard working, she keeps fattening up the buds even the small ones. Painkiller is slower but beautiful and seem to have experienced less the changes on the pH. Royal highness responded really good to the FIM cut with 3 colas tower-like with cristal reflexions under the light. Less amount of resin from her but with a bit of luck the small buds will touch those on top of them to enlarge the main bud's tower. The smells are completely different from each other and have been changing since hey apeared. So happy with the results, small but beautifull and i think it will end with some exquisite buds.

Kind of want to cut some of the top buds from the pineapple kush and the royal highness when the thricomes become white and leave the smallers buds. Do you think there is a chance the small ones would grow? Is it worth it to make 2 cuts?

You can partially harvest, as HighRoller says, but personally I wouldn't do that to my plants :( . It's better to adapt and allow more light come through the leaves and let the smaller buds grow equally. Or you can trim, sacrificing them for the greater good of the top buds to avoid energy being drained. I've seen good results with boths

You can but I don't think its necessary for your plants, this is done on bigger plants in tight spaces, to maximise on potent buds!, 🌱😁👍

Wait!! The last few days can add serious weight.. aim for 20%amber on the tops before you chop, and yes a time delayed double harvest isn't a bad idea, just keep in mind, the plants have a time limit in flower regardless... Cheers! Keep it Green! DWCHC 👈 👍

Beautiful little nugs on everyone of them, the smells are qyite different and a delight. This is the last week for the Royal Highness and maybe the Pineapple Kush. The Critical Kush can be thakful of 2 weeks more and the Painkiller XL needs more time but they are growing really nice. It was a shame the changing on the pH of the water, i think they would have been quite bushier and the buds bigger but that's for another grow.
