It took us by surprise how quickly she is growing. Our autos never showed us so much action this fast.

This week wasnt full of growth but she's very healthy and sturdy. Her color is ideal for her genetics and her stalk is quite sturdy. I have a bubblegum auto that popped a day b4 her and this girl has so much more to be proud of at the moment. As soon as she starts gaining some height I'll get her 3 gl pot ready but this time I'll add a layer of happy frog to the bottom layers of mix like I did for BK because the nutes seem to make a huge difference.

This was a less active week for my part but she grew several inches once the happy frog got to her from last week. Today on 10/12/19 she was transferred from the 1 gl to the 3 gl pot. As before we use the coca core/peat/perlite/work castings medium with a layer of organic food in between layers of said medium. Praying for a successful transition after my banana kush suffered a little shock that caused decrease of cloryphil.

Kinda stressful week but nothing too worrisome. After transplanting her from a 1 gl bag to and 3 gl pot, my girl was beginning to show signs of distress which scared us. I gave her some fox farm grow big with a good drink of water with a PH of 5.6 and she seems to be fine. I also added a teaspoon of bat guano to a cup of worm castings and topped her with. She is a happy girl and lucky we didn't need anything else to be done to get her back to her lovely self.

So this was a simple week. After the yellowing of her leaves didnt get much better, I gave her a little calcium and nitrogen and she responded well. We did take our very 1st cutting off of her today and daddy did a little training. Other than that it's water, light, and love...

This little girl is a bush!! Like an 80's porn VHS, shes a girl with one heck of a bush.. I have banana kush that's growing tall and thin like my husband and this girl is short, thick, and full like myself. Quiet weeks and now I'm just waiting on cuttings to take root but otherwise all she had this week was water mixed with a little funky fish ferts to boost the nitro . Afterwards, I gave her a nice flush with a ph of 5.8 and shes been happy since then. We are feeding her a compost/worm cast/molasses tea with her water to give her some love. We had originally used this formula on our 1st few plants and they all had better flavor (not necessarily potency or yields) so we decided to add this back to our routine since we have switched to photo period plants.

How can 1 add pictures?? My plant is showing rust colored spots in between veins on older leaves. Her run off and water PH are always similar at 6.2 in her cocoa core/pete/perlite/casting medium. I just gave her a small taste of Epsom salts but need to fix b4 it gets worse

Normally i would say its a calcium def. caused by PH fluctuations... or nutrients that are not cooperating with the coco.look pls for the following syptoms Dead spots Crinkling Spotting / Mottling Small brown spots Stunted growth Small or distorted new leaves Curled tips Leaf die-off Affected leaves may appear green besides the spots............... I would go with acalmag product always with the feedings... and as the first step with the next watering.

WHEW WHAT A WEEK!!!! So battled with a calcium (probably cal-mag to be honest) After only doing water and organic tea with. Nitrogen boost my girl began giving me rust colored spots that scared me. So after asking the amazing growers here on this site, I learned that she needs nutrients at most feedings due to her medium being soiless and her water being collected rain. Once I got my answer. I gave a feeding of just calcium on 1st day with water at PH 6.6. The next day, because I was told that she probably needed magnesium as well, I did give her another small feeding of water PH 6.5 with a cal-mag supplement. With this, I also learned that when her branches are flexible and weak, she has a calcium deficiency. Well, she was actually quite flimsy in comparison with her sisters. I'm still working on bringing her back to her full potential. This is a primary example of why I chose to grow photo period plants rather than autoflower. Had she been an auto, I'm afraid her quality and flavor would have been lessened by this deficiency. So, today she'll get a cal-mag supplement with her tea. Keeping my eyes on her to make sure she's growing healthily.

So we had a long but productive week in her recovery from her nutritional deficiencies. After I was helped to learn that she needed a cal-mag supplement, I wanted to give her a good feeding but she was full of water and heavy. So, rather than allow her to dry up for another 5 days b4 another feeding I did something very new to us. Every day I'd mix a cup of water and a cal mag supplement, fox farms grow big, or organic fish fertilizer. I still didn't like giving her small drinks daily but waiting another week would have been more damaging than the chance of her getting too much water. So basically after 5 days of small doses of nutrients, she is really returning to her lush, vibrant self. I'm so happy to see a lessening in fading in her foliage and new growth shooting out everywhere. Shes even grown over 2 inches in the past week so hopefully she'll continue to thrive long enough to go into flower with out any problems

Its official, this will probably be my last week in the veg section. As of 11/4/19 she began showing signs of preflower only 1 week from light switch. Shes also showing some stretch but since I'm keeping her under the COB light with a little purple, she should stay a manageable size. This morning I woke up to find that not only has she already started smelling floral, shes full of starter flowers. I'm really surprised because the banana kush is a week older than GL yet GL is showing flower heads and banana isnt quite yet there. Besides the normal nutrition I give her (mostly cal mag) I have been adding organic nitrogen to prevent a deficiency in the plant. With the stretch coming in, it's just a precaution I've added. I'm thrilled to see flower heads and cant wait to see her finish. Now its just a matter of patience on my part.

Yaay!! Shes in flower!! My girl is such a trooper and although she suffered from a little cal-mag deficiency in mid vege, she's really handled the transition into flower quite well. Not only has she kept her rich color but her stems are very strong and her train has suited her nicely. 12/15/19 It's not time to add a week yet but I really needed to add a note. We can officially see the thrichomes with the naked eye on first glance. I noticed them very early on and had to check with the loop but as of today she is showing the goods. I cant help but be amazed the stealth of her growth. Quite the lady!! 12/11/19 trimmed off a lot of the bottom fan leaves and minor bud sites. I felt like I was committing some sort of crime by cutting all of those beautiful luscious leaves off. I actually felt like I had made a mistake by cutting so much but this morning when I looked at her I was happy I had cleaned her up after all. Her buds are not only more visible but they are getting so much more light that they seem to have grown over night. I can hardly wait. She received her 1st round of big girl food. This will be my first plant to have only Big Bud and Bus Candy from flower to finish. Of course if a problem arises we will add whatever else is necessary but hopefully she'll be content with just the Organic Advanced Nutrients. I accidentally gave the wrong nutes this morning and had to end up flushing . Besides that all I can say is that I'm in shock by the presence of thrichomes so early in flower. Not big or anything but with the loop I noticed the leaves at her heads were beginning to show some thrichome development . Also, I'm very impressed by the scent she has already began letting out. It's like walking into the shop of a florist. The smell is more like flowers than cannabis at the moment but I feel like she may just start to "stink" sooner than later. She was lollipoped yesterday to give flowers more energy. Keeping fingers crossed for a nice yield as this is the main reason we switched over to the photo period plants. 11/08/19

Smothers sailed her way through the week without needing anything more than a plain water and a little of her bud candy and big bud organic. Every couple of days I have been removing a few lower/smaller sticks, bud sites and leaves as well as several of her larger fan leaves that were keeping her buds from receiving as much light as they need. I always regret having to remove such beautiful foliage but this plant has different purposes and for her, less leaves will hopefully help her to reach her potential in bud growth. She has really shown her thrichomes over the past few days. Since 12/13/19 her buds have had trichomes that were big enough to see with the naked eye at first glance. Cant wait to see what this week brings. I planted 2 autos several weeks prior to the light switch to hold us over until the photos were done. Well that ended up being a pointless endeavor since the autos haven't gone into flower yet and shes well into flower now.

Easy week except for the odd color beginning to show on her leaves. A reddish purple color is beginning to show on her fan leaves. The red started on the tips and it turns gold closer to the ends. I was told it could be a nitrogen problem but shes not going to be getting anything other than her reg Shes gotten nothing but big bud and bud candy and I'm hoping it's all she needs. It also may be lower temps or just her phenotype as she is named, "gold leaf".

Such a busy week for this girl. Not that she needed much but I did add a bloom booster to her feedings and although she is still growing I have noticed a significant amount of change in her hairs. They changed from standing straight out and all being snow white, to now they are all curled in (with the bottom few being the exception) and beginning to turn an off white yellow color. As for thrichomes, they're about 50% cloudy 50% clear which is a good place for this part of her growth cycle. As for the amount, I'm some how shocked by how many she's got. At first bud I thought shed have a good amount but did expect her to be so full and how they're all nicely hidden inside the layered if sugar leaves and buds. Her scent is potent and beautiful!! I find her to smell like a stick of juicy fruit chewing gum. Sweet and floral with a fruity punch. I CANT WAIT TO TASTE HER!! She is almost done and I cant begin to imagine how she will be.

1/13/20 Another week of beautiful change both visually as well as her scents. She's still like a juicy fruit gum (which may be because of the bud candy) with an under note of skunk. The skunk scent is actually one of my favorites because it reminds me of the old school dank my family would grow out in the forests. Of course we didn't know the strains but for some reason the most potent stains were those with the skunk smells. Besides the regular defoliation I do on them throughout the flower cycle, I will have to add some extra ties to keep the branches upright with all of the weight they're holding at the moment. This is a 1st for mom and poppa seed because our autos never got that big. She is getting closer and from here on out she'll only get big bud, bud candy, and flower fuel bud booster. These are all organic and they should keep the harshness at bay while preventing any last minute deficiency problems. 1/15/20. Yesterday I thought I noticed a new scent coming into her profile but it wasn't until today when I fed that I realized that she also has a note of cheese following the skunk and her fruit scents are just there at first smell. After the skunk comes in the only other scent that can overpower that is cheese. Such a nice profile. Hopefully she cures the same way. I do also want to mention that she has the most astonishing rose gold hairs that cover their thrichomes. B4 it was like a pink diamond with the clear thrichs but now shes beginning to have a rose champagne look. Most attractive plant I've grown to date. 1/17/19 Woke up to a mess!! The weather has been super wet and even inside with a dehumidifier I I couldn't keep these monster buds from getting too moist. She was so close too!! I noticed an lose sugar leaf that led to this horrific discovery. No other buds have it and I cleaned as much as I could and used alcohol and peroxide to clean the site but I guess she'll be heading for the drying room a tad early. Her thrichomes are at 5% amber on average so it won't be a complete loss but I cant risk it getting worse as shes so dense and the humidity is still high. Such a sad day and my mini autos have never had such a problem but it's not something that I could have prevented and I understand it happens.

1/20/20 Last week was frightening and heartbreaking but very educational as well and although I removed over 20g of wet I am just so grateful for my obsessive observation of my plants because had I kept my "less is more" approach things could have been detrimental for the whole grow. Had to add a note as I am seeing this girl hauling ass to the finish line that according to the breeder we are 2 weeks farther along than my diary suggests as I didn't start my flower cycle at the switch of lights. We decided to wait until flowers were visible when we started counting her weeks rather than the 10 days b4 when the lights were switched to 12/12. It was just an error on our part but going through my journal it's easy to see that she is closer to the 9 weeks they suggested than I knew Good news though. Shell get a little flush tomorrow and wont be long b4 she's in the dark. All of her hairs are changed and shes beginning to fade. Her thrichomes are still a little "undercooked" for me which is why shes not in the dark now. Our local humidity levels are too high for a plant like this one being almost completely exfoliated of anything not containing a decent amount of thrichomes. From now on on more fans will be running. I was expecting her to finish first but banana may end up being done first which is fine for me. This week will begin her flush. From tomorrow on this girl will only receive plain water within her healthy ph range. 1/23/20 WOW!! I'm not sure if it's the drop in temperature or the plain water but something has sent her into over drive. Her thrichomes are all cloudy amber when I use the loop I can always see a patch of at least 3 or 4 milky yellow bulbs amongst the cloudy and amber ish clear ones. Sooo, tonight I may put her into the dark and this weekend I will cut and trim while the family is all out of town. Perfect time for it to work out. So my dairy will show 7 weeks at the time of harvest but lights changed around 10 days prior to the day I recorded them starting to be in flower. If I used the calendar the breeder recommends my plant will be the exact 9 weeks into flower they suggest which is very quick for a plant of her size and potency. I'm very pleased with her and cant wait to finish her cure and get her final results. She smells very floral at first followed by a skunk on the pallet. At exhale hints of fruit linger. Gold leaf smells amazing for sure. Her buds are covered by the most remarkable rose gold colored hairs the amber thrichomes add to the gold look. She's quite an extraordinary strain and I cant wait to see what her clones give as well in the next grow I wasn't expecting so much in the thrichome production department because her description didn't mention the intensity of her thrichome development at all. This girl rivaled gorilla glue for sticky but with much more sugar leaves for smoothness. As of now I'm giving her a perfect score in every department. I have dried and smoked a little along the way to avoid paying for lesser quality bud and she's already as good or better than anything I've gotten from my local dispensary. Bergmans gold leaf is a spectacular strain. I'm glad for this forum and everyone who helped because I got so much support that kept her healthy and growing. I don't know if I'd say it's good for beginners because of the density of these massive buds we have to be careful in humid areas not to get bud rot. Had she not been so voluptuous, she wouldn't have been so damp and the humidity wouldn't have been able to hurt her. ILGM has some decent genetics for the price but it's the guarantee and speed that makes me go back and order again and again

I highly recommend this strain for anyone who is in a less than humid environment. She can be grown indoors in high humidity but twords the end we suggest lots of air flow and constant defoliation to keep her rot free. The density and size of these buds are by far my best yet. She was a joy to grow and I feel extremely proud of myself . 2/12 Update!! So after only about 10 days in their jars, this girl smells AMAZING and looks beautiful. Her scent is a strong skunk followed by a never ending cheese that follows you for a while. Bag appeal will be perfect because she's already a beautiful glittery gold now and if you dare to take some along be sure to wrap her well as she will give herself away every time. Perfect for day smoke because starts me off talking but let's me sleep 6 hours later. Oh yea, and since she releases our anxiety so well she does give some hunger. For me that's a gift and I'll keep it. Grow this and you will love it too!! Wish I had heard of it b4.
