10/9 I have one plant that stunted early and is looking pretty rough. Another looks a little off. I have been extremely careful with watering so I don't think it's that. Humidity has been around 45% during the day but dropping to 35% with lights out. Tried the towel trick, spraying the inside of the tent and put some shallow pans of water in the tent but nothing has changed the humidity level. I just ordered another timer so I can shut my scrubber down during lights out and I'm going to turn the fan speed down. Hopefully that will help a bit. Installed another 6" oscillating rail clip fan so now I have two going. Also, lowered my light and am about 28" from my plants now. Had it way too high up.
10/14 12 days from sprout. Been misting them a few times a day. They seem to be doing well with the humidity.
Using a 48x48x80 tent in my basement. Humidity is reading 30%. Have tried all the tricks to raise it and it does temporary then lowers quickly. Reading so much conflicting info. Would a humidifier work in my tent? If so, please point me towards one to purchase. Thanks!
I generally have the opposite problem. But any good small room humidifier should work in your sized tent. My tent is only 2x2 foot. A small aromatherapy atomiser works for me even. The plants especially rely on humidity for some of their moisture in the first few weeks as roots develop. 30% might impact early development. I suspect it is going to matter less as the plants mature from now on. Might even make it easier to control mould and other pests. Maybe put a clear cover over the seedlings next time. A plastic container with a few holes can increase humidity easily. I definitely recommend foliar feeding early on as well. ILGM have an easy grow schedule for their WW with indicative temps humidity and TDS.
