I was so pleased with how this turned out this summer outdoors, I decided to give it a shot indoors. Upgraded the size of pot used this time around, in hopes of a bigger yield. Was only a 3g last time, now it's a 5g. Once my new set of nutrients arrive, I will start this on it right away. I have never used a complete set up nutrients before, just the base set of Green Planet. New line is Nutri +
Little guy is really coming along, leaves are filling out nicely. Haven't given him anymore nutrients, as I am waiting on my delivery of new nutrients. I am really hoping they can give it a boost that I didn't get from growing outside. I purchased a water filter jug, and had given him a good dose of filtered water, once the nutrients arrive, I will feed him right away. Peaceout Mosuckas
Not very tall, but he is getting bushy. From previous experience with this strain, he is doing just fine. Looking like the genetics are more on the smaller side, rather than fitting into its name. Luckily these seeds were not purchased, but actually free. I certainly will not consider buying these in the future, but I will certainly grow out the third seed I have. Peaceout Mosuckas
Little guy is growing ever so slowly, but it will be worth it if he ever gets going. Nodes are nicely spaced, very tight. Decided to give him some LST afterall, even though he is little. Figured this will make him a little bushier, and possibly produce more colas. Hopefully it doesn't affect him negatively, and he starts getting bigger for me. Peaceout Mosuckas
This may be small, but it has taken the training very well. I will certainly put that to use outdoors next summer. Should have a few more days of stretch before it really jumps into flowering. The new nutrients really seem to be affecting these plants, the growth has been amazing. Peaceout Mosuckas
Finally starting to show some promise. Getting very crowded on the inside, lots of dense bud growth. Putting out some extreme white hairs. Very long, and plenty of them. Slowly starting to produce trichomes, but I'm certain that will speed up very soon. It didn't stretch nearly as much as I thought it would, but there is always another seed to try out. Peaceout Mosuckas
Even though it's well into flowering, it still seems to be getting bushier. Going to be a much bigger plant than I orginally had thought, bonus. No smell as of yet, unless it's just overpowered and masjed by the others. Trichome production is starting to quicken, as they were barely noticeable before. Peaceout Mosuckas
At least three more weeks left, and it's looking like it will be a good one. Trichomes are just busting out from nowhere, really getting coated. Colas are really starting to fatten up at a great speed, they were nowhere near this dense last week. Smell is stronger than the one I grew outside, and not just because of the enclosed space, just a more pungent odor altogether. I will definitely be growing this one again, but under a 315w CMH, for a nice comparison. Peaceout Mosuckas
It has really started to ripen very quickly, much faster than it did outside. Still a few weeks away from harvest, but it's looking amazing. Trichome production is certainly much higher than its sister outside, which is very surprising. Density is also much higher, which is not at all surprising. Now that I've gotten accustomed to these lights, I'm positive I can now use them for photoperiods. Not until I finish another full run of auto's that is, keep an eye open for that. Peaceout Mosuckas
Trichomes are busting out like crazy, much more than I had anticipated. The smell is much stronger than its outdoor sibling, very dank smell. I am definitely going to be trying this one again under a CMH, so keep an eye out for that one soon. Right now its into its flush, trichomes are getting quite cloudy. Maximum of 2 weeks left, if it makes it that long.
Over the past week, I have only been giving it straight water to get everything flushed out. The only thing added has been a little bit of PH down, just to get it in the 6.0 range. Leaves are ridiculously yellow, and some are crispy. I removed anything that was dead and easily removed. If it didn't practically fall off on its own, it's still on. Really opened up the center of the plant, so now all those buds that were hidden, can get some light to ripen up over the next week. Smell is getting very strong, but not a scent I can specify. Gave him 2L on the 5th, another 2L on the 6th, then a full 4L today. No runoff, so I have been greatly under watering this darn thing. Shoot. Well, now I know for next time. Hopefully that soak helps it out. Peaceout Mosuckas
Well this has certainly been an interesting experience. I feel that this strain, along with every other autoflowering strain, does not require a pot larger than 3gal. Both of these were grown in 5gal pots, both inside and out. Final run will be inside under a 315w CMH in a either a 1.75gal garbage receptacle, or a 2gal airpot, or a 2gal smart pot.
Smell is incredible, just as I remembered. Trichome production is higher than its outdoor counterpart, so I am happy with that.
Judging by the looks of the trichomes, I feel its time to harvest. I think I'm either right on time, or a few days beyond peak harvest time. Looks to me like a lot of trichomes have swelled and dropped their ball. I haven't handled this plant as much as usual, so I know they weren't knocked off by me playing with it.
Looking forward to next weeks harvest update, and initial smoke report.
Peaceout Mosuckas
Looking good, man. I like the tight node spacing, and the leaves are looking very healthy. I am also growing Quarter Pounder from Canuk, check it out sometime! I'm gonna follow this.
