Myrcella Tag 15 Yesterday I repotted my Moby s into 11 L pots - everything is great this morning. They handled the transition well. I'm still using ALL-MIX soil. Since it got pretty warm in the tent, I attached a 30W fan directly to the hammer. It's running on level 2, so full power. I also watered the girls this morning, 1 liter per pot, enriched with 1 ml Root-Juice and 1 ml Bio Grow. Tag 16 Checked on the girls this morning - everything's okay. Then I used a technique that I'm trying for the first time. Hopefully, everything goes well and they grow nice and bushy. 😀 Moby 1 FiIM Moby 2 FIM Tag 17 Both girls are doing well - I love them. I increased the distance between the lamp and the plant from 20 cm to 25 cm. This also allowed me to reduce the fan from level 2 to level 1. By raising the light, I hope to stretch the plants. Let's see if it works. Tag 18 I made a little video for you guys 😀 Two days ago, I applied the FIM technique to my two girls. I think it's going well. What do you think?? I carefully pressed down the sun leaves of my two girls with paperclips - the branches get more light this way. Tag 19 Today I briefly checked the water level - I watered four days ago, everything is nicely moist - so the girls don't need any more water yet. Conclusion of the week It was a very nice week for me. I can say that everything has gone well for me and my two girls. Moby Dick is completely unproblematic in care and cultivation. The LST training is also going great for the two girls. *** I have no rights to this image material

Myrcella Interesting facts: Genetic line Moby Dick 👇 Moby Dick (Sativa-dominant 60%), THC 21% 👇 White Widow + Haze 👇 Flowering time 9 to 10 weeks Day 22 Today I watered my two girls - they were thirsty. I also switched the light cycle to 12/12 hours and initiated flowering. Day 23 I made a little video for you again. Moving pictures just say more than 100 words 😁 Day 24 The girls are starting to stretch. I’m continuing to train them and trying not to let them grow too tall. I only have 250 W of light available - that’s not much. Day 26 It’s fun to watch the two of them grow. Moby 1 has been the more vigorous grower from the start. Her sister Moby 2 had a different growth behavior from the beginning. Maybe it’s due to the seed? Because it was smaller than Moby 1's. Unfortunately, I only had two seeds of this strain. Next time, I’ll make sure the seeds are about the same size when I grow this plant. With Moby 1 and Moby 2, I removed two sun leaves from the head bud - the new shoots get more light this way and grow faster. I also noticed a slight over-fertilization today. A few leaf tips are showing yellow. That’s not great, but it’s not the end of the world either. I won’t flush. When I water next time, I’ll skip the Bio-Grow and wait two weeks to observe my girls. It’s quite possible that it will regulate itself. Day 27 It was time to water the two pretty girls again and give them their food. Today they are being fed for the first time with Bio Bloom, Top Max, and Alg-A-Mic. I reduced Bio Grow from 1 ml to 0.5 ml, as I discovered some small yellow leaf tips on my girls throughout the week. Weekly conclusion The week went well for us. It would have been better to leave the girls in the growth phase for another two weeks. That way, they could have become even sturdier and filled their pots much better. *** I have no rights to this image material

I'm planning to grow a Moby XXL Auto 0.60x0.60x1.80 m area - HID light 250 W What pot size should I use? Can I fit two Moby Autos in that space? How tall will they grow with my light output? Thanks for your comments! 😀 Myrcella

Hi Myrcella, 11 to 20 liters are fine (better 20). 250 watts for the growing space is excellent power; in this space, 1, 2, or 4 plants will always produce the same amount of buds, so definitely better 1 👍 I hope I helped you, best regards, may the green assist us. 👋👋👋👋

Myrcella Interesting facts: I have a herniated disc, which can be quite painful. The pain comes and goes. Sometimes I have phases where the pain lasts for a few weeks and then suddenly stops again. Other times, it's just a few days that I have to live with this unpleasant pain. The constant pain tenses up my whole body - that's not healthy. From conventional medicine, I received high-dose painkillers that I was supposed to take. But I'm not as foolish as some doctors can be 😁 Every schoolchild knows what kind of damage such long-term medication can cause. I haven't taken painkillers for a long time. That's why, and of course also due to other positive aspects, I grow this vegetable 😁 This vegetable also clears my mind. Then I paint pictures and let my imagination run wild. I've uploaded a picture of myself for you. Maybe you'll like it......... Day 29 Uploading the video today took quite a while. My Moby 1, which you see in the foreground of the video, I have trained much more than Moby 2. The differences are clearly visible. Ultimately, the harvest will show which method was better. Day 32 When I open the box for the girls in the morning, they emit a decent scent. In the last week, the smell has increased quite a bit. Otherwise, the ladies are still stretching - I actually thought the stretch would be more significant. Today I also watered them again. Half a liter per pot with pH-regulated water. Today there was no additional food for the girls - just water. Both girls were defoliated by me so they can be better ventilated and of course to let the light in optimally. Conclusion of the week This strain seems suitable for different types of training. Topping, Fimming, and Low-Stress Training I have personally tried in cultivation, and I can say that the plant always recovered very quickly from these interventions. *** I have no rights to this image material

Myrcella Interesting facts: Dinafem's famous Moby Dick strain hit the market in 2005 and has since become one of the flagship products of Spain's leading seed company. It has, not surprisingly, been showered with awards – and what else could come from crossing top-notch White Widow and Haze genetics but a real blockbuster? Day 36 We are entering the sixth week and the first flower clusters are now clearly visible. The plant responded quite quickly to the change in the light/dark cycle. I noticed these changes already in week 5, after a few days. I'm also continuing to check daily if I need to remove any more leaves to optimize light usage. Day 37 Today was feeding day for the girls. Each plant received 1 liter of pH-regulated water, 1 ml of Alg-A-Mix, 2 ml of Bio-Bloom, 1 ml of Top-Max, and 1 ml of Bio-Grow. Day 40 It still looks good. Flower production is steadily progressing day by day. To prevent the girls from growing too tall during the remaining stretch, I’m training individual branches and tying them down. I want to optimize light usage, so I keep the girls consistently at a low height. This way, I can illuminate the lower areas of the plant with my 250 W light. Day 41 Both girls were watered with pH-regulated water, 500 ml per pot - no fertilizer! Weekly conclusion This strain seems indestructible. No matter what I did to the plant in the past few weeks - I topped it, trained it daily (sometimes I thought I was doing too much), and removed a lot of leaves in between - no matter what I did, the next day it looked like nothing had happened. She is a very grateful girl and incredibly resilient. *** I have no rights to this image material

Myrcella Interesting facts: Did you know? Hemp could be a global raw material giant. Our energy supply and many other products made from cotton, wood, or petroleum could also be produced from hemp. This could really be an advantage for our climate - hemp products are environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and healthy 😀 . Day 43 We're entering the seventh week, and I'm a bit surprised by the lack of stretching. Honestly, I expected much more. For my small grow, it's still beneficial that the plant isn't stretching too much. I've also noticed that it consumes more water. I now have to water the plants twice a week, or else they get too dry. Primarily, the plant seems to be focusing on the flower buds now. I haven't noticed any increased nutrient uptake so far. Note on the video Flowering Day 22: I've consciously trained the main stem of the girls over the past few weeks. You might notice it in the video. I've trained them to the outer edge of the pots. Sodium vapor lamps, like the ones I use during flowering, can get incredibly hot. The heat radiation is warmest in the middle of the bulb. Otherwise, this could easily lead to significant burns on the plant. Day 46 Things are moving forward. More and more white hairs are being produced daily. Today, I fed them again with 1 liter of pH-regulated water per pot - no nutrient addition! Day 49 We've reached the end of the week. There wasn't much to do. The individual flower buds are taking more shape and are becoming denser day by day. As a result, the plant has also produced significantly more trichomes, and the smell has intensified. I'm very satisfied with the development. Weekly conclusion: I've been quite sparing with nutrients for both girls over the past few weeks. I think that was okay. I always shake the bottles with the nutrients well before use. If the bottles sit for a long time, many ingredients settle at the bottom. Shaking them well ensures everything is evenly distributed. *** I have no rights to this image material

Myrcella Interesting facts: Fertilizing plants is probably a science in itself. Many farmers who grow vegetables have found themselves forced in the past to engage intensively with this topic in order to achieve the highest possible yields. Today, many things are grown in XXL format - tomatoes, pumpkins, zucchinis, carrots, all in XXL. However, this is not possible without nutrients! What's wrong with us humans? What is all this for? Just think about what this unnatural fertilization could mean for our groundwater. My two girls are not fertilized according to a predetermined plan from the manufacturer. I can think for myself and see when the girls need nutrients or if I need to increase the dosage. It's always difficult when the plants are over-fertilized. Fixing that damage is not easy. Sometimes even impossible. Please also remember that a fertilizer takes about 2 weeks to become available to the plant. Adding Fish-Mix or Alg-a-Mic speeds up nutrient uptake. Day 51 There’s actually hardly anything left for me to do. In the lower area, where the light no longer reaches, I cut off the yellow leaves. There are still only a few yellow leaves. Then I check the water level daily and turn on the light for the girls. The day can begin 😁 I will start a second diary so I have more to do again. The seeds are already ordered and on their way to me. This time I want to try Auto Fat Blueberry. I’m really looking forward to that. Day 53 Today, there were nutrients again for both girls. They were fed with pH-regulated water, 2 ml Bio-Grow, 2 ml Bio-Bloom, 2 ml Top-Max, 2 ml Alg-A-Mic. Today I realized that I could have watered the girls two days earlier. The water ran out relatively quickly from the bottom. That’s a sign that the soil was quite dry. It’s always optimal when the water flows out very slowly, almost drop by drop, within 1 minute. Day 56 We have reached the end of week 8. There’s nothing new to report. Conclusion of the week: I have to say that Moby Dick doesn’t need much care. This strain would probably also be well-suited for ScroG or Supercropping.

Myrcella Interesting facts: You probably know that Moby Dick is not just a cult classic from DIINAFEM. A classic is also the novel Moby-Dick, written by Herman Melville. This fantastic book has surely touched the hearts of children and adults alike. However, there are alarming signs that these wonderful creatures may not survive this century. Mountains of plastic waste in our oceans end up in the stomachs of whales when they feed - a cruel death. Another problem for whales is noise pollution. Whales navigate by locating the echoes of their own sounds and rely on their hearing. When will we humans finally stop so shamefully raping our planet?? Day 58 We're starting a new week. The first stamps are beginning to turn brownish. This is a completely normal ripening process in the flowering stage. Now one must pay close attention to ensure that the humidity is not too high. Because this promotes bud rot. To prevent this rot, I have lowered the humidity to 35. Today, I also gave my girls an extra ration of food. Watered again with 1 liter per pot. Used pH-neutralized water and 2 ml per liter of Bio-Bloom. Nothing more. There are still enough nutrients from last week in the soil. Day 59 The individual buds are gaining volume daily. That's great. Because that's exactly what we want to achieve. This week, I will give an extra feeding with Bio-Bloom and Top-Max. Potassium and phosphorus are now important components of the feeding. Day 62 In the lower area, where the light no longer reaches, the leaves are wilting. There aren't many. I remove the leaves. Today, I also gave a decent addition of nutrients. 1 liter per pot, pH-neutralized water, 3 ml Bio-Bloom, 3 ml Top-Max, 2.5 ml Alg-A-Mic... Day 63 That was a quick week. The days have flown by. There is a wonderful scent in the grow room. Since the beginning of the week, it has been very noticeable. If I had to describe this scent, I would say very earthy with a hint of forest. Conclusion of the week If you use LED lighting, you need 30 to 50% less water for watering. This is simply because an LED generates much, much less heat. *** I have no rights to this image material

Myrcella Interesting facts: Dinafem lists this phenotype with a flowering time of 65 to 70 days. I think that’s a very accurate estimate. In about 18 to 24 days, I suspect the girls can be harvested. That would align perfectly with Dinafem's timeline. It's late autumn here now, and the days are short. It gets dark around 5 PM. I find myself painting more often at this time of year. I've uploaded a new picture. I like the color blue. It's my favorite color 😀 Flowering Day 43 In the last few weeks, the girls should really kick it into high gear and ramp up THC production. The plant's life cycle is drawing closer to the end. The pistils are already starting to turn brown in some places. I will closely monitor this process to ensure the right moment is chosen to harvest the girls. Flowering Day 46 There's nothing more to do. Lights on in the morning and lights off in the evening. Even that is controlled by a timer. The only thing I still need to check is the water level. Nothing more. Today, I started the first flush. One liter per pot, just pH-regulated water. 😀 Flowering Day 48 Tomorrow the week will be over again, and I am so satisfied. The buds are developing a nice uniform size. Next time, I would cultivate four pots of Moby Dick. There would have still been space for 2 more pots of 11 liters each in my area. That would have been a fantastic harvest. Conclusion of the week I will definitely cultivate Moby Dick again. I really like what I see. 4 plants will deliver a fantastic harvest.

This morning I flushed for the 2nd time. It looks like I might be able to harvest one of my girls as early as next week. I'm flushing this girl daily until just before the harvest. 😀

@@Myrcella, if you're working with BioBizz, definitely use Bio-Bloom. If you have it, you can also use Top-Max. You can skip Root-Juice and not dose Bio-Grow as high anymore. Generally, don't give too much nitrogen (N) during flowering. Just try to stick to the fertilizer schedule from All-Mix: https://biobizz.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Nutrient-Schedule-EN-2019-01_OK.pdf Best regards

A special thanks to @hellomynameis 😀, - for your efforts. I had already fished that plan out of the net. I was thinking that maybe you have a secret tip for me. So for bio-growing, just 0.5ml per liter during flowering? Best regards 😀 Myrcella

@@Myrcella, I would go down to 0.5ml and watch what the plant does. If the green gets too light, you can add a bit more during the next watering. Best regards

They look very healthy so far 👍 I don't know your height restrictions, but if you have enough height, I think you could have given them another ~2 weeks of growth 🤔😁 PS. I've also used Biobizz and would only use Top Max from the middle or late flowering stage. By the way, the main ingredient is molasses, which you can get cheaper as a "no name" product 😉 just make sure it's unsulfured, but there are already special suppliers for cannabis 😉👍 Wishing you continued success 👍

Hi Myrcella, I read your diary and I can't help but chime in. In the first 2 weeks of flowering, you need to increase the doses of nitrogen (grow) and possibly also calcium/magnesium, as from this moment they will produce a lot of green mass and have a strong need for these elements. Increase the flowering fertilizer only when you start to see the first white hairs. Anyway, they look healthy and beautiful. Good luck.

That's really nice of you.... @Buddha2 😀 , - I hope you could understand the text well - often Google Translate makes very funny things out of it. I've laughed a lot about it too. Best regards 😀 Myrcella

I love your drawings. If you have some expired milk, feed your herb with it. This make the herb more potent.

Thank you...... @Med_in_Tropic😀, it was nice to read from you that you liked my drawing from week 5. What I find really interesting is your tip about expired milk. I have a few questions for you. Does it have to be only expired milk? What fat content should the milk have? In what mixing ratio do you add the milk? Is the milk diluted with water? So many questions for you - I'm really looking forward to your answers. Best regards 😀 Myrcella
