I lit the fuse on this little bubble bomb and hopefully she will explode into buds. Bomb seeds took some cannabis cup winning bubblegum and crossed it with their thc bomb resulting in a strain capable of getting potent and extremely frosty. I have been excited to get this girl going and here we go!
I soaked the seed in RO water for about 24 hours until it popped. Then placed it into a rockwool cube that had been soaked overnight in pH 6 RO water. She broke the surface 4 days from soaking. Starting her under a 23w 6500k cfl. I will be transferring her to a Dutch bucket soon. She will start on a pinch of nutrients on day 3.
Day 4 after a 24 hour test run of the new system the girls were transferred to the dutch buckets. Will be pumping nutrients 24/7.
I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.
Was a smooth week. Did a flush and fresh nutrients. Kept the nutrient dose the same since everyone looks happy. Started training and trimmed a few leaves and branches off. I plan to switch them to flower after week 5. She is one of the slower growing plants. Heavy indica with short fat leaves. Still pumping nutrients 24 hours.
The bubble bomb is short and stout. She is looking happy. Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Pulling a couple leaves every couple days to keep light penetrating and spreading her out as she grows. Will be switching them to flower in a week.
Day 34 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12.

This girl is the smallest of the group but she is looking nice. Been on 12/12 for a week so hoping to see flowers soon.

Pumping nutrients 24 hours
She has been on 12/12 for 2 weeks now and transitioning to flower nicely. This bubble bomb might be the smallest of the bunch but she is stretching some and it looks like she is going to put off about 20 top buds so no complaints. Couldn't be happier with how these 6 girls are playing well together so far. Going to start them on some liquid Koolbloom next week.

Very happy with the progress of this one. She has a lot of tops and is starting to build some buds. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. The run is pretty much on autopilot at this point. Just going to keep the juice pumping to them and keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy.
Nutrients per gallon
.75 tsp maxibloom
.2 tsp liquid koolbloom
.5 tsp calimagic
.25 tsp armor si

i look at the branches , for starting/ ending silica... if they are weak, i start, if they are much more stable4 and resiliant , i stop... sometimes i give only one feeding with silica
This bubble bomb looks like she might put on the fattest buds of the group. She is stacking calyxes like crazy and starting to see some nice trichome development. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Not much else going on now. Just waiting for the buds to do what they do.
She is making steady progress. Just stacking up calyxes and getting a little bigger every day. Looks like she is going to have some fat buds once she swells up. Pretty much on autopilot at this point. Just going to keep an eye on their leaves and buds to make sure they stay happy.
Had some nice progress this week. The buds are steadily stacking up calyxes. Her tops are getting taller as they get wider. A few of the older pistils are starting to die off but she is steadily producing new ones. No signs that she is getting close to wanting to ripen. I think these buds are going to pack on some real weight in the next week or so. All of the girls are darker green than I would like so I added 2 gallons of RO water to dilute the reservoir a little.
Pistils are starting to turn, calyxes are fattening up, trichomes are mostly cloudy. Not seeing any amber yet. I am guessing she has about 2 weeks left. Going to keep pumping the bloom nutrients to her until I see some amber then it will be time to start the flush. She is looking pretty tasty. Has a sweet fruity aroma.
The trichomes are about 10% amber so I started flushing her. The calyxes are making their final push to swell up. Like little bombs about to detonate. These bomb genetics put on some nice buds. I am thinking she will be right where I want her in a week. 💣💣
The 3000k +660nm quantum boards are performing better than any lights I have used.
I brought the temp down to 72 day and 65 night.
Buds ended up nice and frosty. About medium size and extra dense. Smoke is smooth. It has a strong citrus flavor with spicy peppery tones. Reminds me of lemon pepper seasoning. This one was heavy indica on the structure. She stayed short and was easy to keep happy.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you. I think that your advice is the best thing to do. I have noticed it makes the stems much stronger and I like it but have heard that the silica might make the flowers burn a little harsh.
I love the pics of the purple lighting on the buds, makes 'em look sinister! Would've been great in one of those oldschool propaganda anti-cannabis films LOL
@mr_h_kovert, yeah she is thick. Was doing a final tie down to spread them out today and her stems won't budge at all. I have a feeling she will be a sticky one.
@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks for the input. I recirculate nutrients but I have been hearing that the silica can make the flowers harsh. I see the benefit in stronger stems. It definitely works. But will probably cut it out of the feed next water change
