MELs_Garden Good smokes. We have 7 Black & White from The Outlaw seeds to test. BLACK & WHITE from The Outlaw seeds: Genetics: Black Domina 98 X White Widow %Indica/Sativa: 100% indica Size: medium Production: most is created on the central stem, but the buds stretch and produce good flowers. (We know little or nothing about this plant, the data is based on what we are seeing.) 09/27: Soaked 7 Black & White seeds from The Outlaw seeds courtesy of Crazy Roots in h2O and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. 09/28: Placed to germinate in a tupper with damp paper and kept in a dark place. 09/29: 6 out of 7 germinate, moved to plugin pro from hortisfera. Placed in mini greenhouse with a 15w LED bulb. 09/30: The last one germinates and we move it to the plugin pro. 7 days in the mini greenhouse until they root well. Week 1: October 7 to 13 10/07: Transplanted to 2l pots. Used: 2l pots Pot plates Clay balls Janeco-light-mix soil from Atami 100w LED panel Watering with BioRhyztonic (0.25m/l). Changed LED bulb from 15w to room with 100w panel on 24/0 day/night. 10/09: The seedlings seem to be doing well. Humidity approx 75% Temperature 25.5°c 10/11: Light watering with BioRhyztonic, the seedlings are showing the second pair of 3-point leaves, they are doing very well. 10/13: Almost all are progressing at a good pace. They are planted alongside some Sapphire OG. These days there has been a southern wind and the temperatures are quite high, so they are experiencing around 29°c. (Performed light foliar watering every day)

MELs_Garden Week 2: From October 14 to 20. October 15: They are being checked every now and then. With the high humidity we're maintaining in these first weeks, the soil stays nicely moist and there's no need for watering. October 16: The light is getting a bit closer to the plants, about 30 cm away. October 17: They are stretching really well. They are bumping into each other and taking up all the space I have. We'll let them compete for a couple more days and then give them the space they need. October 18: It’s clear they have almost no space between them, so tomorrow we'll reorganize the grow cabinet and take the opportunity to water. October 19: We installed the extractor in the cabinet, which was needed but hadn’t been set up due to lack of time. We also lined the cabinet with reflective paper to make use of a bit more light. We raised the light to about 40 cm above the plants and moved them around, also changing the light period from 24/0 to 20/4. Watering was done with rooting and growth nutrients. pH: 6.1 The blacks are the line of 4, from the yellow label one to the other yellow label one, the 2 that are bent and the other with the yellow label. Temperature 25°c Humidity approx 67%

MELs_Garden From October 21 to 27. October 21: The cabinet has become too small, and we've had to move a few to make space. Temperature 25.5°c Humidity approx 75% October 22: We managed to solve the space issue, and now they all have plenty of room. The Black & White are on the left side, marked to indicate the area. October 24: We turned on the fan in the cabinet. October 26: Watering with organic grow from B.A.C. at 2ml•l. Temperature: 24.1°c Humidity approx 78% October 27: Foliar spray with Tec-Fort to prevent pests.

MELs_Garden From October 28 to November 3 October 28: The plants are given more space to have room to grow. Temperature: 25°c Humidity approx 80% October 29: We move the plants because they keep falling over and run out of space, we also raise the light. We water with rooting solution. November 1: We water with light water pre-transplant. November 2: At midnight; Transplanted to 7L pots. It's time for a much-needed pot change. You can see that the plants are healthy and robust. When transplanting, we can see that they have rooted really well. Base layer of clay balls for better drainage. Watered with final solution from B.a.c. and foliar spray with foliar solution from B.a.c. Moved to the flowering room with the 600w HPS light on a 12/12 schedule. MELs_Garden From November 4 to 10: November 4: The show begins. The moment we’ve all been waiting for. We switched to the flowering room in 7L pots with a 600W HPS light. Used: 7L pots. Clay balls Atami light-mix soil. The plants we put in measure between 25 cm (the shortest) to 35 cm (the tallest). I didn’t want to leave them too tall because the room I have isn’t especially high, and if they get too tall, I won’t have much room to maneuver. This week I’ll still be gradually removing growth nutrients as I start adding flowering ones. Today we did a watering with just water at pH 6. November 5: Watering with rooting agent. We see that the transplant hasn’t stressed them much; in fact, they’ve appreciated the extra space they have to root. November 7: They are stretching well; it looks like they are branching quite a bit, so I’m sure we’ll get some good trees. The temperatures seem to have finally dropped and are stabilizing. We have about 25.7°C with the light on and about 20.4°C with the light off, with MAX temperatures of 27.5°C and MIN of 19.9°C. Since it’s been raining every day, the humidity has also increased, leaving us at 60/70%. November 8: It’s been 4 days since we moved them to the flowering room, and we can already see they are adapting to the environment. Seeing that they are branching well, we took the opportunity to do LST on 5 of the 7; we left the other 2 natural to see what their true appearance is. November 9: We did a foliar spray of pro active from BAC with 4ml•500ml. November 10: We lowered the time of the extractor because it’s quite cold, and otherwise, the temperature in the cabinet is too low. We did a watering with organic Growth, 12ml•8l and 0.4ml•8l of flowering stimulant for the 7 plants. pH of 5.9 Water temperature over 23°C. Temperature 24.1°C Humidity 57%

MELs_Garden From November 11 to 17: With the cold already present, temperatures are quite low, and after changing the extraction times, we achieved temperatures of approximately: 24.4°/26.2°C with the light on (with a max of 28.5°C) 18°/19.4°C with the light off. November 12: Watering with water. pH: 5.9/6 The plants are stretching little by little very well, they keep throwing branches. The first little hairs are much more noticeable. November 14: They look very strong and healthy. They are preparing the structures for future flowers, it's becoming more noticeable every day. Today they were already asking for water, so tomorrow will be watering day. November 16: Watering with flowering stimulant 0.2ml•l and 1.2ml•l of flowering. I should have watered yesterday, but I forgot. The plants measure 45/55cm. Throughout the week, average temperatures: Day: 25/26°C Night: 18/19°C Minimums of 18°C Maximums of 28.2°C November 17: Everything is smooth as silk, after the watering they have shot up. The flowers are forming, and you can see they are preparing the space to give us some beautiful flowers.

MELs_Garden From November 18 to 24: November 18: We raised the light to 60 cm. November 19: We realized that the last watering was a bit too much and the plants showed small signs of over-fertilization (slightly droopy tips and a small yellow spot on the tip (not on all)), the next watering was supposed to be water, but we will only do waterings with water until we correct the plant. November 20: Watering with water. pH: 6.1 November 23: Pruned 1 node from the 3 plants that we didn't practice LST on. November 24: We did a watering, a quick round with enzymes but very light (what was left from yesterday) and then a more substantial watering with Mammoth P, it's the first time we're trying it and I have very good references regarding it, we'll see how it goes.

MELs_Garden From November 25 to December 2: November 25: Yesterday we watered with Mammoth P for the first time and I don’t know if it’s just me or what, but the plants looked especially shiny today, I could even say they looked happy 😄 I don’t know if it’s the Mammoth P or not, but if it is, welcome to the team!! Day: 25.6°C Night: 20.6°C Relative humidity: 54% November 26: What we thought might be a slight over-fertilization turned out to be a magnesium deficiency; I confused the tips a bit downwards with a yellow spot at the tips, but the moment the spots appeared, I realized I still lack a grower's eye. November 28: Light watering with 1 ml•l of Stalin's calmag to address deficiencies, 1.7ml•l of Bloom nutrition, and 0.3ml•l of Bloom stimulation, both from B.A.C. Temperature: 24.5/26.4 °C (DAY) 19/20°C (NIGHT) Relative humidity: 50/59% EC: 0.8ms Water temperature: 20°C November 29: Light watering with 1 ml•l of Stalin's calmag to address deficiencies, 1.7ml•l of Bloom nutrition, and 0.3ml•l of Bloom stimulation, both from B.A.C. We removed wilted leaves marked by deficiencies. Temperature: 24.5/26.4 °C (DAY) 19/20°C (NIGHT) Relative humidity: 50/59% EC: 0.8ms Water temperature: 20°C December 2: The flowers are already forming and it seems they won’t stretch anymore. They have stayed at 55/65cm. The flowers are forming on the branches and at the central top; they look like they’re going to yield quite a bit. It seems they are doing better and the deficiencies are being corrected. Watering with pk, final solution, and Mammoth P. Watering: 0.7l Temperature: 25°C pH: 6.4 EC: between 0.9/1.01 me Relative humidity: 54/61%

MELs_Garden From December 3 to 9 December 3: They look good, the watering did them well. We removed the water that filtered through the soil in the plate. December 4: We removed affected leaves. December 5: We did some watering: Watering of 1.1l•plant Organic Bloom 2.5ml•l Bloom stimulator 0.2ml•l Mammoth P 0.16ml•l pH 6.4 EC 1.36/1.42 me Water temperature 18.4°C Room temperature: 25.5°C We watered with 10% of the watering water, 20 mins later we watered with the rest. Once the watering was done, we waited and removed the excess from the plates. These days it's been cold, and I can lower the light to give them the maximum lumens possible during these key weeks. The temperature difference between night and day is quite large, almost 10 degrees. Some leaves have turned a bit purple due to the differences, plus with the light off we are having 80% humidity so we’ve put the dehumidifier to keep that under control. December 6: With the dehumidifier, we have a relative humidity of between 50/60% both day and night. Good sign. The plants are incredible, I expect good things from these Black & White, they show promise. December 7: We finished the last week since the change of period. Everything is going great, all the tips and branches are filled with buds and white hairs. In the photos, the difference in structure between these Black & White and the Sapphire OG is clearly visible. With the dehumidifier, we managed to have pretty good parameters considering the cold. With the light off, we had 17.8°C and 80% humidity, and now 22°C and about 53%. With the light on, we have around 25°C and humidity between 48/55%. Tomorrow will be watering, we will keep pushing them to completely overcome the deficiencies they suffered.

MELs_Garden From December 8 to 14: December 8: We watered with 2ml•l of PK, 0.2ml•l of flowering stimulant, 0.2ml•l of final solution, and 2ml•l of sponge salts. PH: 6.5 EC: 1.55/1.61ms Water temperature: 18.4°C Temperature: 24.9°C Relative humidity: 50% They keep growing and the smell they give off is really nice, I still can't pick out any nuances. December 10: This looks good, the 2 biggest ones are developing some pretty thick central tips, while others have tips that are more elongated like a pine. The buds are nice and plump, both the tips and the lower buds, very good. December 12: Watering with 0.2ml•l flowering stimulant 2.5ml•l Organic Bloom 2.5ml•l PK 1 ml •l calmag PH: 6.4 EC: 1.9ms Water temperature: 17.9°C December 14: Well, another week ends and there's not much left. I started to see brown spots and the leaves are yellowing, I finally concluded that it was heat stress because I had the light too low. I cleaned up the affected leaves and raised the light to 57cm. With the dehumidifier running, we have some decent parameters. Humidity: 43/55% On: T Max: 27.4°C Normal T: 24.4/25.5°C Off: Normal T: 22°C T Min: 21.2°C Conclusions: The Black & White strains don't handle heat too well, because I have some Sapphire OG at the same height and they haven't shown any symptoms. At this stage, they don't give off too much smell, more like a very mild scent. Out of the 7 plants, 2/3 have come out quite small and thin, probably my fault. The rest have a pretty good main cola, tends to make a fairly long central cola, and the buds are also going to produce some significant flowers.

MELs_Garden HARVEST: We harvested the first Black & White. We cut the smaller black one, the one we see as the "least" good. Its ripening point is quite early; we will leave the others for several more days. Since we have 7 plants and are testing them, we cut at different ripening points to see their various effects later. December 30 We cut B&W #1 Brown pistils on most of the plant, already noticeable in the photos. Milky and transparent trichomes almost equally. 67.21g wet including branches. Spicy smell with a slight citrus aroma, it doesn't give off too much smell, which is great for not attracting attention. Drying in a mesh. January 1 We cut B&W #2 January 2 We cut B&W #3 and #4 January 4 At night, almost early morning, we harvested B&W #5 and #6. These are the best plants visually and productively at first glance. The difference in color between them is visible in the photos. The heaviest one will weigh about 95g wet. Total dry weight 100g. The buds are quite dense and full of terpenes, but it doesn't taste like anything. The high is very cerebral, noticeable from the first hits, a bubbling in the head that leaves you totally relaxed. Ideal for going to sleep or watching a movie on the couch, not recommended for any other activity. It's a shame it doesn't have flavor because the flowers have been good and the yield hasn't been bad; I don't know what happened, but anyway, let's keep learning.
