End of week 2. Added a mars hydro ts1000 to the tent. It drastically changed the environment. Dropped rh to dangerously low 20's. Added diffuser to boost humidity, now sitting around 45%. Temp is on the higher side, around 29 celcius. Worried I might have stunted growth with new light addition.
When it comes to growing cannabis, LED models with 3W chipsets (each individual bulb is 3W) seem to get some of the best yields/watt of all LED models without a lot of worry about light-burning your plants.
With LEDs, always look at the “actual power draw” or “actual power consumption” which is the amount of electricity the LED panel actually pulls from the wall. When comparing different LED grow lights, this is the closest you get to a side-by-side comparison.
Generally, your goal with LED panels should be 50-60 watts per square foot of grow space to get the best results.
Is it possible that environmental factors such as medium, RH, temp, nutes, etc, can delay flowering time and thus increase overall grow time? Or is it only dependent on strain and Pheno?
Guaranteed. Grew 5 autos, 2 didn't drain well, got locked out. Burnt all the leaves up, pretty much gave up on them. Finished strong with great potency and better yield than the faster ones, but a couple weeks late, even though they were autos and should have been on the same timeline.
Yeah it's totally possible, that having lights not strong enough or a pot too small or not enough drainage for the roots. All of these things and more will determine how fast and tall your plant will grow. Also how often and how much you water, what you feed them, training, everything really! 🌱😁👍
Oh ya man if your to cold in that grow or your nutrients are off high or low pH then yes the over all outcome will be longer growing times ... All your environmental factors will effect growth rate and quality , where the pheno- type or strain is gonna be limiting factors like max yield , flowering times , and overall taste and smell... If she is happy then we are happy the best is just to practise restraint and patience this is a great hobby to get involved with cheers friend ..
You got good input with your lights ,all good, your girls aren't looking too shabby either , seems to be coming along great mate👍,good luck with your grow , have fun😉👌
