Trying a few new things this round. I have started a 25lb bag of Black Gold soil in a 55 gal trash can mixed with Xtream ga rdening Mykos and Azos, along with sweet lime. I have been letting it all merry there for about three weeks. I also had to move my tent into a new area so monitoring the temp will be a challenge this grow. I will be growing two plants in my 3x3 tent along with 5 gal smart pots and 2 platinum LED p300's Can't wait to see how this one turns out!!!

Looks like I might have a mutant GSC, probably just going to grow it out since I don't have a replacement for it. Other then that they are starting to take off finally and can start to see growth daily.

In full pre flower right now and as you can see growth has exploded this past week. The LSTing I did on her definitely didn't slow her down and good colla development is under way. Next few weeks should be good as we watch her pack them buds on!

As you can see she is still looking heathy and has stoped the stretch and is now entering full flower! And really starting to stink! I'm excited to see how the Cheese and northern light mix is going to ballance out in the smell. I'm sure the high on this one is going to be amazing!!! I trimmed her a little the other day and opened the center up so that the smaller buds can get more light, which will probably (hopefully) increase the bud size of the lower ones!

You can really start to see the frost set in and the buds are starting to put on size. Since I opened her up with the sticks, the lower buds are also starting to pack on some mass. Excited to see all the fat coals come out of the plant!!

Smell on this one is starting to become sweet and pungent! Buds are starting to fatten up nice and really pack on the mass!!! The lower fans are starting to fade so I know the buds are going to start to mature! So probably will see 10 weeks out of this one! Other then that loving the lights and still going strong!! O and I have been alternation the bloom nutes, so I am giving the beastly blooms and tiger bloom in opposite watering. Also I have been giving molasses with the beastly bloom feeding.

These past 2 weeks have been very pleasent with this girl! I thought my carbon filter was going bad, so I bought a new one, installed it and the smell was still getting out of my tent!! Of all the ones I have grown this far, none of them have made it past the filter! I could even get pleasant wiffs of chesse while I was outside doing yard work! As for the feed she has been on just pH'd water until I havest her.

Day 5, they seam to be coming along great, they are lagging in the leaf size compared to by other grows, I think it's due to the fact that this is a bigger pot and the tap root is tretching farther then normal before it starts to develop good leaf growth.

WeirdBeardcommentedweek 18 years ago
In resurching more on root growth, I decided to my feed water in hops in providing more oxygen to the roots for a more vigorous growth. Here is my simple set up I threw together. It's just a 2 gal bucket with an ultra small and quiet air pump. Feeding 6tsp per gal of grow big 1 Tbsp per gal of molasses

Great, WeirdBeard! You'll love this strain, it can get very big! 😉 Let's sit and watch your magic! This potions you're using are very interesting... Thanks for sharing! Have a nice grow! 💪

I also think that I'll be doing some light LST maybe just to the main so it doesn't get so tall. I almost ran out of vertical room on the blackberry grow.

Thanks man. I am interesting in seeing what these microbes can do, also interested in seeing how a 5 gal smart pot will make the difference. I usually grow in 3 gal pots

wow bud that is a high feed for the big bud. Have you had results with that feed level in the past. Looks good Happy Growin"

@LagunitasOGDGC, yes I have had great results with this Feed schedule.

Looking good, and cool experiment with the root growth. I added a microbial innoculant to my soil this time around and definitely saw some changes, but I still have many more aspects to get my head around still. Will be cool to see the impact on someone more experienced like yourself

Will the led 300s be enough for the whole grow? Or do you switch and or add at flower time?
WeirdBeard
WeirdBeardcommented8 years ago
Those 2 p300's are more then enough for my 3x3 space if you look at their website the PAR per wattage is one of the highest and the core coverage for the bloom faze is more then enough for a 3x3 tent. So yes I only use these two just switch on the veg and bloom for when they start to flower.

Day 24 and it seams the cheese Is taking to the LSTing nicely, still having explosive growth and is looking healthy as can be!
WeirdBeard
WeirdBeardcommentedweek 18 years ago
Well still some slow growth going on with this grow, so I have been trying to figure what's going on. I have narrowed down to the humidity and temperature with the beginning of the grow. I know it's no the soil pH because it is sitting pretty at 7.0, I moved my grow area to a different spot and it was a little too hot in the beginning which I think stunted both of them, and the humidity has been a mother F&$@er, even though ithey are slow to start I have faith that they will explod here in the next few weeks. The past 3 grows have all been in separate spots and frankly sucks, but giving me challenges and experience along the way! .
WeirdBeard
WeirdBeardcommentedweek 18 years ago
These two have exploaded in growth already. They were only in the soil for one day and they are already up! Didn't change the way I germinate although it think it was partially due to the Azos I added to the cup of water I soaked them in.
the end.
