Fast Buds came through with some testers to show off! Wanted some Cali Snow in time for Christmas so I have these two in plates and paper towel to get them started 💪 Will grow two of these and one LSD-25 (check the other diary!) Can't wait to do my first seed and auto grow, plan to put them right into their 5gal forever homes and go with FoxFarms soil over ProMix to turn feeding down to easy mode. HALLOWEEN UPDATE: Tap roots showing on Californian Snow seeds! Other LSD-25 seed is also good for a 3/3 germination from @Fast_Buds! Filled three 5gal fabric pots with a mix of 3 cups of Fox Farms ocean soil to 1 cup of ProMix HP. I did it for extra mycorrhizae for the seeds but I'm glad I did because it took the full bag of Fox Farms plus the ProMix to fill them. Tap roots on the Californian Snow seeds are insane. One already split with loose seed case when I transplanted. Both under domes with extra spray for good humid atmosphere. Now time to do their thing. DAY 5: Both plants are sprouted and the LSD-25 next to them did too. Great seeds from @Fast_Buds! Will keep domes on for next couple days then we're off to the races. Thanks for stopping by! Like and follow along 👊

First time sprouting from seed and I have learned a lesson! Didn't keep my light close enough to start and both Cali Snow + the LSD-25 I have in my other diary stretched to about 3.5 inches before I dropped it down. I just spent some time digging them out gently and dropping them down deeper so they are a more manageable height and will learn my lesson for next time 🙌 Still just watering a couple times a day with the spray bottle and keeping the domes on/sprayed with water to keep high RH around the plants. The tent is sitting at a dry fall apartment 35%. Very excited to see my girls start turning into plants😃 Thanks for stopping by, like and follow along, will update soon!

I'm starting to suspect that the larger Cali Snow in the middle is ACTUALLY the LSD-25 seed from my other diary right now.. When I germinated them I put them separated but on the same cloth. At one point the LSD rolled over into the Cali Snow seeds but I was PRETTY sure I knew which one it was. Looking at how the two seedlings are similar in their stunted growth compared to the big buy in the middle who's right on schedule. I think THAT might be the real LSD-25 but I might have to wait a few weeks before I figure it out 😂 You can see it's definitely struggling but it is still growing along. Let me know if you know what is going on with it! Still just using a spray bottle for the soil around the plants using plain water a couple times a day. I will start a light water Molasses/Water feeding starting next week most likely. DAY 19 - 11/17: Just got back from a day or so out of town. Left them well watered with their domes on to help with moisture loss. Left the Veg half of my LED on so not full power but still a great bit of progress when I got back today. The next node of Plant 1 is out and the struggling Plant 2 hit it's first node and regular growth has taken over. Will give them a dark period tonight to give them a break from the 36 or so hours of light they've had when I was away. Still just letting the FoxFarms Ocean Floor do the feeding with plain waterings with a spray bottle. Will start to feed the soil Molasses/Water mixes by the end of the week or as soon as I feel the little plants and handle a pour feed compared to gentle spray. Thanks for stopping by! HELP - Day 26 Update! A couple days ago Plant 2 (Far Left) started curling up. Leaves were dark and cripsy, pruned first set off, some new growth had some but after a day seem better. I started a very small nute feeding with a Molasses/Water base. Plant 1 started showing spots today on the top leaves that look a lot like Calcium Deficiency which is why I added some nutes to small feedings today. To try and keep from over watering I mixed it all in a gallon jug then poured it into a regular sized water bottle acting as the watering can. If you see anything in the pictures comment and let me know what I should be focusing on! ---- Day 24 starts and the two Cali Snows are chugging along nicely 💪 From following all the other Fast Buds diary it seems like this is the week or so that the seedlings should go full plant mode. The middle pot that is ahead of the two is the one I suspect might be the ACTUAL LSD-25 from my other diary. It seems to be the most ahead in terms of node development and I can see the 3rd node developing now so I think I will be FIM'ing it by the end of the week. Excited to get to FIM/LST phase. Have decided to just FIM instead of full top to try for more than two colas with only one period of heavy stress on the auto timeline. Especially since they all seem to be pretty small for the start of week 4, first time with autos though so I'm still learning how they grow Thanks for stopping by and will update through the week 🙌

Week 4 Seedling is wilting/curling! (See Pics) Hard and dark cripsy edges on all growth. I dropped two fan leaves incase it was mold. Looks a tiny bit better the next day after taking off the humidity dome that was on for about 24 hours before noticing the curl.

@GlazedGrow I think you nearly cooked them under the humidity dome as they can attain much higher temps inside than you may think. To get the best out of those domes you need to mist reguarly and have some type of venting at the top. As for the plant it should recover with time however because its very stressed I wouldn't feed the nutrients but instead giver her a light feed of a seaweed/kelp solution this will help in stress recovery . Good luck

Day 31 - 11/29: Watered with leftover feeding solution stored in fridge for a few days. Still the low nute/Molasses mix from last week. The plant I cooked in the humidity dome recovered the new growth nicely. Plant 1 only had mild spotting/burn on one set of fan leaves and the two nodes above have been heathy and clear since. Unfortunately the low RH environment cost me a good vegetative base on all plants including my LSD-25 seen in another diary. (Or this one, still think it might be Plant 1 due to an accidental shell game in the germination paper towel) Will have to keep tent sealed and add some humidifying elements for the next round. Won't be able to do an actual humidifier any time soon so feel free to comment with any D.I.Y Humidifiers and Techniques that have worked for you! Started to LST with soft wire as there was no time or size for FIM or Top. Small Pistils have appeared in the last 48 hours on all plants so it's time to ride these tiny girls out and see what I can do. Day 35 - 12/3: Fed last night with gallon of feeding solution split between the 3 plants (Molasses/Water/.5ml each of PHPerfect M-G-B Kit) Adjusting the LST with the soft tie a few times daily. Used the spray bottle to give it a plain water feeding today after the top layer dried out and to avoid salt build up. No sign of nute burn yet compared to my first grow, only spotting are on the fan leaves that were present when they got cooked under the humidity domes. Dropped the light a few inches closer for a better LED spread too. Day 36 - 12/4 Fed each plant around 2 cups of feeding solution. Feeding solution listed above at 1 Tsp Molasses/Gallon with .5mL of PH Perfect M-G-B each and split between the two Californian Snows and my other LSD-25. Should dry out in-time for start of Week 6 in a couple days 👍 Thanks for stopping by and will update through the week 🙌 IG: @GlazedGrow

Day 38 - 12/6 Realized I didn't wet my pots before seeding so that probably set it all back. Will be updating through the week with feedings. Will continue to push up nutes at a small pace with larger feedings to try and maximize the stretch to get the plants near a respectable return. Hopefully can get a few more inches this week and next in order to focus on fattening up the buds. Already looking to my next grow. Day 40 - 12/8 Fed the plants their feeding solution, upped the PH Perfect M-G-B to .60mL a piece and another 1 tsp of Molasses mixed into approx. a gallon of cold tap water. Split equally between the 3 plants and followed with a half gallon of regular water to avoid salt build up. Adjusted the LST on the plants and clipped the one crispy spotted fan leaf from Plant 1, more just because it was blocking the small amount of nodes. Still no sign of nute burn but I will keep an eye with upping it on this latest feeding. I also got my Newbie of the Month prize in the mail yesterday! 20 fem seeds from @SpliffSeeds split between Gold Bar Kush, Purple Berry Kush, Mega Power Plant, and Moon Walker Kush! Now I have some decisions to make for the next grow.. Thanks for stopping by 👏 IG: @GlazedGrow

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. Only chance at smelling my LSD-25 right beside them is to get REAL close. Thanks for stopping in, throw down a like so I can return the favour, will update through the week! 🙌 IG: @GlazedGrow

Day 53 - 12/21 Start of Week 8! Plant 1 is slowly starting to pack on weight at the bud sites. Adjusted the LST on some secondary branches and clipped some light blockers and small growths at the bottom in a semi-lollipop around the first couple nodes. Good main cola development and a few decent sites down the stem. Just like my smaller LSD-25 in my other diary, it will just be a game of how much bulk I can get on the small plant. BUT..... Plant 2 is a WHOLE DIFFERENT beast now. What was once the smallest plant after being cooked under a humidity dome in the first couple weeks, the clock being off has allowed so much stretch 🙌 I gave the plants a 12 hour-ish dark period combined with the slight drop in temp by keeping a window near the tent cracked, it ....KIND OF?! looks like it's about to flip/flipping. The pistils have started to bunch at the top of the main stem instead of pairs at each node. Plant 2 will be a whole month if not more behind P1 and my LSD-25 but I'm completely fine with that, the size means way better return. Will probably start 2/3 new autos as P2 finishes through Jan 😂 Day 54 - 12/22 Gave the girls a 2 gallon feeding of the 1 Tsp Molasses/1 Gal Water mix. Spilt between the two Cali Snows and the LSD-25 from my other diary. Plant 2 still just GROWING and bigger than yesterday but it looks like the telltale bunching of the pistils is happening at the main bud sites. Seems like my patience waiting for this girl to flower is paying off and will end with the highest yield/best plant from this grow. It will just take an extra month or so 😅 I will definitely be able to start 2-3 more @Fast_Buds autos while Plant 2 finishes up. Just need to choose which ones 😍 CHRISTMAS - Day 57 - 12/25 Chugging along! P2 is hilariously big in context to P1 and my LSD-25 that were all planted same day 😅 I thought the stretch was done but it has gone up another inch or so in the last day and the pistils are still slowly bunching in what looks like a long overdue transition to flower. Anyone following along feel free to give advice or weigh in below about P2, is she finally on her way? 🙌 I adjusted LST a bit more and took a couple more smaller random growths from the bottoms that were taking away energy. Really adjusted P2 to expose the large amount of flowers forming. I'll be without grow lights for a couple days for holiday reasons so I'll be turning the tent towards a large window for natural light and closer to the natural 12/12 cycle. The lights have been on for 72 hours or so to prepare for this and make up some extra bud development. I've also had very good results with some extra long dark periods during flower on my first grow so I'll roll with the punches 💪 Merry Holidaze and Happy New Year, next update will be Week 9! Day 61 - 12/29 Returned from 2 days out of town and girls are doing well. No grow lights when I left so I pointed the open tent towards a window so it got some light but not too much. New growth on P2 was light and the girls didn't drink much of the feeding I gave before I left. Speaking of new growth; Hopefully the extra dark helped the full flower kick in on P2 which is now hilariously almost 2x the size of P1. 😂 It seems like the flower sites are finalllly bunched enough to look like the slow sativa buds are finally starting to form. Happy with the plant size regardless if it takes extra time, if all 3 ended up like this I would have set up my SCROG 😔 The plants have spent most of the day under the grow lights again and once they drink enough, they'll be getting another PH Perfect feeding later in the week. Day 63 - NYE! - 12/31 Halloween to Christmas and New Years Eve! Should be down and cured by Valentines Day, this grow is basically a Garry Marshall movie. P1 that is further along in flower was slowing a decent bit of Calcium Deficiency rust spotting on the older fan leaves. Had to wait another day for my last flush/feed to dry out a bit more. Added a small amount of feeding solution with a bit more Micro since that's where the Cal-Mag is. P2 is obviously drinking a lot more so I gave her most of the feed and just enough to P1 to get the Calcium on track until next big nute feed. --- Thanks for stopping by, throw a like so I can return the favour, and will update through the week 🙌 IG: @GlazedGrow

Day 65 - 1/4 The two Cali Snows finally have names! Taking after one of the many shows put on for garden work entertainment, Workaholics; Shorter chunk-daddy P1 is now "Adam" and tall ass skinny P2 is "Ders" Adam was showing either Cal/Mag deficiency or got rust fungus from the large holiday flush/feed. I clipped all spotted fans and half-assed a mid-grow tent disinfection. Upped the Micro with Cal-Mag in the feeding solution to fight that hunch and been keeping an eye on/picking any fan leaves on other plants that get any spot. Far enough along that I can keep it at bay to finish it out. Will wash buds on this grow if more signs show in the final month or so. P2 is a whole different beast. Ders pulling from those strong viking roots and turned into the little seedling who was cooked under a dome and almost lost to a late blooming go-hard. Keeping up with LST and added my first 45W LED grow panel as a side light that mainly falls on P2's main site since it's the only plant that grew tall enough to reach where I have it hung. --- Day 67 - 1/6 Took both out for a closer inspection and some mild defol and LST adjustment on Ders (P2). Pulled some bigger branches outward and minor lollypopping on the bottom few inches of the plant. Going to start the flush process on Adam with a Molasses/Water mix to close out the final week or two and continue give Ders nute feeds since it's a still well back in flower. Day 73 - 1/12 - (P2 photos coming soon) Adam (P1) is about a week away where Ders (P2) still has 3-4 weeks on it. The main cola on Adam is the thickest/biggest bud I've personally grown so far so I am very excited 😃 Hopefully I can replicated that kind of bud mass across the bigger Ders because that would be a decent yield. Adam is about to get it's second to last Molasses/Water rinse for the soil and finish some plain water leading up to a Week 12 chop. Ders will also get a Molasses/Water feed but will continue with a week or two of nute feeds before I start the flush for the later flowering time. -- Day 77 - 1/16 Finally got the Ders (P2) pictures up. If she chucks out like P1 on the main buds I should finally get my first decent yield per plant 💪 Definitely looks like it's on the way to chonk town 😄 The difference in smell is crazy, P2 got major citrus hints where P1 has a skunky sativa spice. All plants were given Molasses/Water and Plain Water feeds in the last week so P1 will continue with plain during the last week of flush. P2 will be getting 1 or 2 more nute feeds as she'll run 2-3 more weeks. Gave a solid lower level lollipop and took a bunch of overlapping/bushy fan leaves from the middle to get light to the lower sites. Adjusted and spread a few of the smaller branches to help with light penetration as well 👍 -- Thanks for stopping by, throw down a like so I can return the favour, and will update through the week 🙌 -- IG: @GlazedGrow

Day 81 - 1/20 P1 a.k.a "Adam" has been chopped, trimmed, and hung next to my small LSD-25 that came down yesterday. The main cola is the nicest looking/thickest I've grown so far so I was definitely excited and took a bit of extra care during the trim 😘 It was the same small size of the LSD I had but the buds itself packed on some serious size bringing in the Wet Weight to 30g. Will end up with just under a half ounce all said and done. *Whomp, Whomp* The smell is crazy floral with no hint of traditional cannabis smell. Like Baby's Breath and/or a full bouquet of flowers. Completely different compared to the crazy Lemon smell off of P2. P2 a.k.a "Ders" still has a couple weeks on it, taking up the tent with the light on during the day which has moved my small hanging plants to a hall closet. If I can get the same bud size on Ders then there should be a decent return when I finally get to finish. It's such a strong lemon smell from the buds that I'm suspecting that a Lemon AK seed fell into the bag because it's PURE lemon gummy candy buds up in this tent. Will keep the diary in flower until I harvest both Cali Snow plants so I can put all the info together 👍 -- Thanks for stopping by, like so I can return the favour, and will update through the week! 🙌 -- IG: @GlazedGrow

Sorry for the late update and bad pictures. Personal life got hectic etc. blah blah. The finish on Plant 2 a.k.a Ders was amazing. 22g dry and since this is such a delayed update it is long gone. Dried 5 days before trim, first dry trim went better than expected and you can really see the crystals to save compared to fresh wet trimming. Cured for a week before became the main stash and lasted another month so it had really come into it's own by the end. Closest plant I've had to an ounce + P1's 7 dried grams all in all it was just over an ounce. Sorry again for the drop in diary quality.
