My dog ate my Alaskan Purple while it was outside due to my room not quite being ready. The rest are fine and set up inside now. I have put in an OG, another CBD and a white Widow.
In the room and under the lights. I finally have an aircon so I can fully control temp and humidity. No problems at yet. The lemon potion and WHite bubba Kush seeds have popped, still waiting on the white widow.
One of the bubba Kush toppled over under its own weight so I guess I’m LST now. One seed didn’t pop and a seedling toppled over and had its stem broken. Not a great start but what the hey when you got seeds to spare. I replanted a Zkittlez OG and another CBD.
One bubba has grown to twice the size of the other. Interested to see what the stretch makes of them.Seedling babies are fit and healthy. Although I don’t have any gnats atm, as a precautionary method I’ve added some hypoaspis predator mites.
Big stretch on one of my bubba Kush. Odd that it is twice as big as it’s sister?? Thought I saw some suspicious white looking bug on one of the leaves so I have been vigilantly spraying neem on the leaves. No more signs of the cretin.
Well, managed to get rid of the white bugs with a double dose of neem oil each day. The bubba Kush and cbd lemon are in early days of flower, while the small ones are a week or two away. The smaller bubba Kush has had some nitrogen issues so I’ve been applying foliar spray and flushing excess salts.
The three small ones a powering ahead- Californian snow, zkittlez OG and CBD lemon potion. The smaller of the bubba Kush is slow to flower, I think this is due to a minor nitrogen deficiency. The CBD lemon potion is in full flower and stacking up heavily. The large bubba Kush is the biggest plant I’ve seen and grown. It’s ridiculous, healthy and strong.
I’ve been going mental with the neem oil spray as I thought I saw a whitefly in the room. Must have scared it off because I haven’t seen any more and I’ve been checking carefully. The large bubba Kush is now well over 6 foot tool and 3 foot wide. How does an auto get so big!? All other plants doing exceptionally well.
The cbd lemon potion is drenched in tricks and only has 2 weeks more, max. I’ve found gnats again and had to order more predator mites to sort them out. All plants are in flower now and only one is showing signs of slight damage-either from the gnats or a slight nute burn from too much too soon.
Harvested the cbd lemon potion this week. I will update with photos once dried. Looks to be about 1.5 oz dry. It’s buds are very tight and smell delicious.
About 2-3 more for the big bubba. It’s buds are still a little airy. All else going along steadily. The second bubba is almost as big as it’s sister, so well done to Dinafem for those genetics. The Zkittlez OG and the second 🍋 potion are quite small. I hope they stack generously.
A very squat plant with tight buds. The smell is intoxicatingly creamy and sweet while growing. Buds are so sticky and covered throughout with wonderfully bulbous trichomes. No deficiencies or troubles from this little gal.
A few of the heavier branches on the bubba Kush broke under the strain of their weight. I’ll be sure to brace all branches here on in. Rest of the grow is going fine. 1-2 weeks more for the largest bubba.
Fantastic high. It’s totally dreamy and euphoric. Really makes you appreciate the senses and the world we are in.
I also love that plenty of clarity is maintained throughout the high. It’s like being super naked without becoming a 🧟♀️ I’m trying to think of a negative... Nope, can not fault.
What can I say. This plant exceeded all expectations. Hats off to Dinafem for producing some outstanding genetics. A total monster and I had to give it very little attention apart from a good feed. Tempted to buy some rhino skin next time to build up fit branches that can hold the weight of the buds near the end of the cycle as I had a few branches, not totally supported, snap on me.
I have also added the second b Kush to this harvest, which was snipped at 13 weeks. The weight reflects an estimate which I will update later. Both these stunners gave me more than I could have asked for. One of the best strains and breeders out there in my opinion.
Just a reminder that the 3 smallest plants were started after week 4 of this diary so they are not actually in week 12, more like week 9 I believe. Couple more weeks for the zkittlez and Cali snow and cbd lemon potion. One more week or so for the second bubba Kush. It’s looking like it could near 100g like the other one I just harvested. Excellent smoke too.
Solid week. The cbd lemon potion is a total runt but I am sure the quality and yield of the bubba Kush will make up for that. Zkittlez is a little shitty too. I blame the 7.5l pots and the choice not to top them.
This is a lovely bus to smoke. It alleviates any hint of anxiety and seeps the mind and thoughts in white noise. Not the best weed if you need to focus, more for those times when you want to be a bit of a vegetable.
This gal was fairly slow moving up until the second to last week when she gained a lot of weight. I was thinking it was a dud but she ended up giving a respectable bit of smoke. Definitely a plant that benefits from lst and topping. That’s probably where I went wrong.
Really intense smoke. Probably not my favourite high as it is slightly too mind numbing. You feel so high that it’s hard to gain any sense of clarity and focus. This is definitely a brain scrambler.
A really stringy stretched out plant. I mistakenly used dodgy coco from Bunnings which was compact I think the roots suffered a little. Very dense and coated buds tho. All in all, not the worst plant I’ve ever grown.
are the bubba kushes any different? I read you had 2 of them
I've got some from another seed going in veg which (so far) seem to be nearly exactly like the other one I flowered. Fantastic smoke A++
@Crwfz1, I dunno then mate. Give it a go for ur self and see. My girls are definitely not burnt and I’ve had it that close before. Also, that tall one is not directly beneath the bulb.
