11/1 In the water - bottled 6.0 - under the eye of the overprotective Woodstock on the heated seedling mat.
Two Fastberry going into 5 gallons of washed and buffered coco 60% and perlite 40% using coco tek A and B nuets
No nuets of course
This is our second grow of this strain, first being in soil, and looking to use it as a very rough comparison between the soil and the coco.
All up to the seeds now
11/2 On the paper towel, all look cracked on quick inspection
11/3 Cracked no tails ... at all... getting nervous... hate this part
11/4 Both Fastberry sprouted tails (yea) other two did not yet so (boo)
FB into the seedling pots
11/5 no signs yet
11/7 one girl up one remains hidden
Day 1 of the grow
Ok naming time... theme is Live fast get berried young so... its ladies of the old west!
Meet Annie and Belle...Doing well, first nuets tomorrow at 1/4 str
11/10 Everyone got top dressed all going fine
11/12 Continuing on - Adding CalMag at the end of the week not before
11/14 New Pics
After some investigation I find that CalMag is not needed as supplement while using the CocoTek nuets.
Already has mag and cal in it so if no problems no CalMag so the feeding went as follows:
In two cups PH 5.9 - .6ml each of CocoTek A&B and Fish Sh!t (for the metabolics) to generous runoff.
Like this coco coir stuff... will run two feeds to each water flush from here on of course unless issues arise :)
11/15 Week 2 and very happy
For now feedings remain :
In two cups PH 5.9 - .6ml each of CocoTek A&B and Fish Sh!t (for the metabolics) to generous runoff.
No reason to change until transplant when I add the root juice
Feeding daily may increase to twice daily when the EC meter gets in Monday as I have found some insight on coco from this:

11/16 New Pic and Vid
11/18 Moved to veg tent and transplanted into 1 gal intermediate fabric pots. Looking good
Almost forgot -
Fed cocotek and kangaroots when transplanted at 5ml/gal and 10ml/gal respectively. Going to start increasing the concentration of the cocotek upwards and keeping an eye out for def
11/19 Feedings will be twice a day in these pots
5ml Cocotek A&B (well 10 total) 4ml Fish Sh!t (seem to like the stuff) / gal at 6.0 ish not going to get anal about it just careful
Possibly add 3ml of CalMag should I see a wisp of reason to do so.
Like what I am seeing so far
Getting more Fastberry those were my last two seeds.
Meter got in - TDS of the above feed is 575 with tap water being 210 giving a nuet level of 365 well within seedling and early veg limits, so plenty of room down the road.
Will be working it up as I feel right but I am getting a water filter, not RO perhaps but it needs to come down.
Heh wont be needing Si that's for sure
11/22 Day 15 and a new week begins!
Upped the nuets to 7ml/gal each of cocotek AB at 6.0-ish giving TDS of 510 after adjustment for water.
Forgot how tight these plants can be, raised lights 2" to increase inter-node a bit
Up feed to 700ppm adding 1ml ctab
11/25 Transplant into five gal pots
Feed 800ppm 10ml CT A&B 10 ml Kangaroots 5.9PH
11/26 First bend on Annie - Belle will do tomorrow.
They seem to be taking less than two cups feed in those pots to produce enough runoff.
No sign of any deficiencies as yet, liking the CocoTek so far.
11/27 Both trained life seems good :)
11/28 End of week and they look healthy
Continuing training and leaving nuets as is until I get a water filter to drop the TDS on the tap water. Needs to drop about 100ppm before I can add more
11/29 Start week 4 still solidly in veg
Tighten training daily . Still on same feed of 800ppm
Water filter be in Monday-ish and so I can drop the tap water TDS so to raise the nuet level.
12/1 Continuing to get hang of coco, the runoff in particular will be worked on. Happy with it
12/2 Seeing the first signs of flower so beginning the intro of bloom nuets. dropped the CT A&B Grow to 9ml/gal adding 1 ml/gal Bloom A&B. Will increase the bloom over the next week to full.
12/5 Into the flowering tent still on half grow half bloom nuets 800ppm for a while.
Changed feeding to once per day 1 qt(liter) with @ one cup runoff each (25%)
New camera learning how to use it
12/7
Week five and in full flower.
Runoff was way high 1400-1700 ppm this accounts for the tiny white tips on new growth.
Increased amount to 0.5 gal once a day but may have o go back to twice a day.
Still on half/grow half/bloom until the stretch plays out still trying to hit 700ppm of feed without runoff exceeding upper limits so feed alone is running 600ppm to counter the hard water. Once I have a handle on the runoff will up nuets.
After some thought and a bit of reading I decided to do this as a root drench and fertilized flush to remove all salts from the pot.
0.5 gal 5.7PH CT Grow AB / Kangaroots /Fish Sh!t with @50% runoff - 950ppm (unadjusted 750ppm adjusted) in / and 1020ppm out.
See how things look in 24 hours.
12/12 Feed set to 800ppm still half grow half bloom
12/13 Some pics lights on just getting the hang of it
Nuets now just the Coco Tek half grow half bloom 800-ish ppm 15% runoff 2.5 quarts 5.9PH at lights on
12/13
Week 6 Second week of flower will be moving to just bloom nuets this week.
Leaf tucking and occasion tightening up of bends
Going to stay under 1000ppm for that see what the plants say about it.
12/14 Foliar feeding due to slight signs of Mag def and I mean slight on a couple of leaves.
RO water, wetting agent, 1ml CalMag/quart, leaves well covered on both plants at lights out.
Put the lights off pics at the top
12/15 Phasing out Coco Tek Grow in favor of Bloom
Defoliation day - opened them up cleaned up lower end pics later maybe tons going on
12/16 All Bloom now 850ppm watching leaf tips close, increasing feed amount for good runoff 15%
12/20 Week 7
Happy with the growth and the smell is so sweet, minty, and berry so terps are doing just fine.
Backed off nuets ever so slightly
12/21 new pics and backing off the nuets more tonight - 10ml each see if I can get rid of those white tips
Helps if you upload the right files 😎
12/23 pics
12/24 All is good but think I am going to continue reducing the nuets and checking EC of runoff as still getting some small issues on leaf tips.
Maybe I am chasing ghosts we will see
12/25 White tips under control, runoff checked at 1600ppm unadjusted 950ppm unadjusted in, adjusted for water thats 1400 and 750 so ok now.
Buds building fast swapping positions in the tent tonight.
12/27 Week 8 !
Such lovely girls, prettiest plants we've grown to date.
Pretty happy with the nuets where they are so leaving it at 850ish ppm
Was continuing to occasionally throw in some Fish Sh!T but that will stop now,too close so gotta watch those terps.
Lights out pics later
12/28 Last two weeks before the flush so began the Soul Peak PK/Finisher at minimum dose with regular feed. Adds almost nothing to ppm.
12/31 Last push , reduced Bloom nuets to 7ml and increased Peak to 13 which is a tad high but ppm remains under 800. Eventually it will be all Peak then flush.
1/2 Flush for Belle begins with Monday's watering at lights on. Last day for Bloom nuets on Belle and then three days of just the finisher.
Annie will stay on the 5ml/15ml mix until her hairs curl sufficiently then same protocol.
1/3/20 Week 9!
Fade has begun on both plants, some amber hairs on Annie but she aint there yet.
Belle is finishing up begin flush Monday.
Its getting good...
1/4 Entirely on the Peak finisher 15ml/gal 6.1PH see how they react, expecting some increase in current production as its rumored to work better if its the sole nuet.
Belle has been moved back into the Veg tent as its sole occupant to finish there giving some badly needed room to the Flower tent. Annie has been raised for a level canopy.
1/6 Swapped tent positions with Belle and Annie, think Annie will benefit more from the increased light for a couple of days. Belle in flush.
1/9 Both are in flush to end the week, no PH just tap water so 7.2-ish 220ppm
Getting some pics of the buds if the camera pulls it off to start week
1/10 Week 10
Both are in flush and from the looks of the tricones these are the most potent plants we have grown to date.
Drinking has really slowed down but keeping the un-PH one gallon daily flush since tap water is cheap.
Annie doing very well under the LED lamp, TS-1000 plenty large enough for one plant in flower. This is encouraging for plans to replace the HID with either a TS-2000 or TS-3000(preferred) this spring before the summer heat.
Just a few more days....😎
1/11 Bud pics
Harvest Belle on 1/13 - Annie 1/16
Just getting them ready. taking off some useless leaves etc...
1/14 Harvesting Belle today, let her dry out one last day. Annie harvest at weeks end.
Harvest pics and total numbers at end of week when I take Annie
👉BELLE HARVEST
963 grams wet 👈
Annie got her last watering today, harvest in two days
1/15 Harvesting in about 12 hours, pics and numbers then
On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win.
Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded.
Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow.
Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right.
It loved the CocoTek and Soul Peak finisher FIVE STARS ON BOTH add them to the list GD!

Absolutely the best grow yet for potency, dont want to guess but it's at the strains upper limits I am thinking from the effect.
