The orient autoflower is a cross between the Lowryder and the Afghan strains. To quote the box it came in,"Orient automatic is a sticky, autoflowering strain with good side branching, large buds, and a typical Afghan structure with plenty of resin". So hopefully I can train this plant to have many colas with tons of resin. Atleast that is the plan. Here goes nothing and everything wish me luck. As of now the only nutrients I'm supplying is from the bat guano layered in the soil. Later on in the vegetative stage I will be adding other nutrients. Might use the fox farm i have or might try out some RAW nutrients. I went back to using the white rocks instead of the clover this time. No other reason other than it just works. They reflect the light back up to the plant and keep the soil moist.

They seem to be growing really slow and one is a little funky looking. I am thinking that these seeds may be old. I had bought them back in 2016 and kept them in my fridge in a ziploc bag. They should be ok to finish out the grow but may not give me the yield I'm hoping for. Itll be ok though a grow is a grow with knowledge to be gained from it. I will let them keep growing and maybe just LST them or top, still deciding.

The plant on the left is starting to show some growth little by little. It seemed to have just stopped for a few days. Hopefully it is back on track now although it wont be as big as the other. On the left side the plant is growing much faster but still a little slow. I am training the plant to keep it low but may not top it yet. I may not even top it at all, I'll just let it go for now and see what happens.

So far so good. The growth is begining to pick up and the flowering stage seems to be beginning. I am still low stress training the plant on the right, and on the left side I have decided just to let it grow normal no training to topping or anything. The yields will be low yet again. I am contributing this to the not so cannabis friendly the conditions of the air quality have been. The seeds are old as well but not too old. I guess I'll use up all my old seeds this winter. Then when summer comes around and my temp and humidity conditions are more optimal I'll get some newer seeds to plant.

Started the week with some slight trimming to get more air flow around the base and also get rid of the lower bud sights. The smaller plant is begging to grow bigger than I anticipated. They really have hit a growth spurt. Let's hope it keeps up the good growth. A few days later and they are filling out again. I only did a light trimming to begin with and a bit more at the end of the week. Unless they get unruly again I probably wont trim them any more than this. Now they can concentrate their energy towards the better higher up buds.

This week has been showing a great abundance of growth. I'm beginning to think these two will yield much more than I expected. I'm getting excited for this future harvest. No strong smells yet. Just the great smell of a healthy plant.

One plant still isnt fully in the flowering phase yet. It is showing signs of flowering but hasnt produced and small buds yet. Its growing big though, filling out nicely. As for the other plant, as you can tell, its blooming great. I had to do what I could to move the light higher up. This was easily done with some eye bolts from home depot I just cut off the screw part and put the on the light. Its saved an inch or two. This doesnt seem like much but it was well worth it.

There has been some amazing growth from the runt. She has surpassed her sister and now over shadows her. I need to have a strong talk about the importance of equality... had to put up another scrog to slow down the height growth and hold down some branches. I was happy with the size of the smaller girl. Now I'm so excited to see what else these girls have in the future to suprise me. The only thing I'm not looking forward to will be the trimming at harvest. I may just recruit a friend to help out.

Still growing taller but beginning to slow down. I'm hoping she doesnt get any bigger or else I'm gunna be in trouble. Still giving them some nutrients. Just not as often and I will stop soon.

I cant believe she is still growing. I had to tie down some branches to keep her low and even out the buds. I am a little nervous the taller plant is stealing all of the light so I tried to pull her away from her sister. Then I plucked some leaves from the right side to let some light down.

The late bloomers buds seem to be a little bigger and more dense than her sister. Hopefully they get denser as the last few weeks roll on. If not I'll try more nutrients next time. It's a little too late for her now. I'm going to start with only water for her. As for her big sister, I will keep feeding her with some nutrients for a few more weeks.

I've been giving the taller girls some cal mag to help with the deficiencies. And the smaller plant is on a flush. She is getting ready to be harvested in the next week or two. The buds looks rly fluffy and light on the smaller of the two while her big sister seems to be much denser and look like they will grow to be bigger and more beautiful. This really is a case of the ugly duckling being the beautiful swan.

I've begun flushing the smaller plant on the right. For the first time I'm trying ice flushing and seeing how it works out. Since the buds are so light and fluffy I'm thinking about trying to play around with making some canna-butter.

Not much to say for this week, other than it will be the last week for nutrients for the big girl. The flush will begin next week with some ice.

Having some nutrient deficiencies but that will just have to be a thing for now. I have run out of nutrients and they are going to get a good flushing soon anyway. Although I'm still trying to figure out what I did to make one plant short and loose. While the other is bigger with small dense buds. For the most part they were on the same feeding schedule the only real difference was the topping on the shorter plant which accounts for its height but not its lack of density. I geuss it could also just be a different pheno.

Instead of molasses try adding enzymes, beneficial bacteria and myko, or humic acid , this should really help reduce the in soil conditions, keeping the root zone cool with a fan a the base of the textile pots. Who knows maybe they will flower stretch still takes a while to "look pro" with lst but it will come if you're patient lol

@WeedSt, 3 didnt germinate out of the five, one is kept currently going with NFT in single plant tent, should be ready for christmas lol it's a jesus miracle hahahaha by the way this seed came out of the freezer, the trick is to not freeze the seeds quickly but gradually using basic lab equipment to make sure the shock is less

@CRiSPrGrow, wow 7 years!?!? How did that turn out. Did it even make it to harvest?
