FBT01 Fastbuds Tester

Fastbuds hit us up and asked us to test out a bunch of strains for em. Yall must know by now I rep fastbuds ALL DAY EVERYDAY! So here we are! This is FBT01 (fast buds tester o1) Going in for germination! We decided to skip our usual paper towel germination step and go straight to the pre moistened root plugs! 2 were wet with ph balanced water with bio root, and 1 got just ph'd water. Going to see the advantages and disadvantages of using root booster during germination! And have a 1 seed as a control in place. Once seeds were sowed they were stuck in a misted humidity dome at 85 % rh to sprout! The dome is lit by 2 floro tubes to prevent unwanted stretch to our sprouts... and give em what they need to open up those cotyledon leaves and get there first true leaves started! Only info we got from fastbuds is there a sativa dominant variety and that's it... we will be writing the book ourselves! So join me as we unwrap the mystery of FBT01. So life has started and we got our sprouts! So we pre moistened our 5 gallon pots with a light dose of bio roots that was ph balanced with ph down. Than sowed our plugs into the soil to spread there legs. They'll likely go through about a 4 day rooting period before we will see vigorous growth above medium! They popped out super healthy! A nice beautiful vibrant green. And because of our illuminated dome they haven't stretched at all and already have there first single bladed leaves a couple hours in. We have stuck them under a combination of cob and full spectrum LEDs and optimized there environment to suit there needs! We are dialed in so let's watch these babies boom! So after a solid rooting period these girls are off! Starting up there above medium growth throwing off new nodes and foliage. We will break them into a more advanced regime of nutrients when there dry n due for water tommorow. Up untill now they have just got the bio root stimulator. So these girls got there nutrient regimen going and are bumping at relatively quarter strength. They all responded great to it! We dropped there lights 6 inches due to strength. We are gunna give em a lumen boost! Plant #1 got defoliated and some serious lst work to open her up and spread her out! Plant #2 we are going to run all natural. And shes doing hella great nice and full! Plant #3 we did heavy defoliating and topped her at the 4th node! She has kinda hung there since... I wouldn't say responded terrible but definitely didnt bounce right back! We are trying these babies all different ways! Love to experiment! So we added clay pebbles to the top of our medium to supply added fortification to the main stalk. Also to add a nice moisture barrier at the top of the pot as clay pebbles wont allow the lights to dry out our nedium as quick. Plus it keeps my perlite down and prevents it from being blown around into buds WHICH IS FUCKING ANNOYING TO PICK OUT! We dropped our lights another half foot and that's another reason for the clay barrier. The lights were lowered as the plants are much stronger now and need the extra lumen support. We kept our feed the same as they were doing great and looking pretty why fuck with it! But next feed they will be getting a more transition geared feeding do to pre flowers and signs of the switch! Plant #1 was defoliated a touch! We cleared out some leaves running back into the plant and creating a unnecessary cluster fuck. We Lsted her up spreading her open and running garden tie staples into the medium to tie her down. She I'd now showing some pre flowers. Plant #2 just recieved some leaf tucking she is our all natural girl N she is booming right along! Shes showing pre flowers and starting to show signs of wanting to make bud sights so this is her definite last week of veg! Plant #3 is our girl that we topped. She has since became explosive after her timely recovery. Really going crazy with her side branches! So weve went crazy with our lst work lmfao. We also defoliated her heavy to open her up due to our heavy training work I needed better airflow through her. We than supper cropped her 2 mains and tied em into place! Weve done basically everything to her and shes thriving! She hasn't shown any pre flowers yet... mabey the hst work has kept her held in veg for longer? Either way shes a beaut! We got there environment dialed right in. We are using different techniques and growing all 3 differently! So join me on the @fast_buds journey of unwrapping FBT01! It's already been hella fun grow! So these ladies are booming right along! 2 outta the 3 are blooming and are screaming indica pretty deep! Short stacked robust plants, very branchy especially once lst! And even more so after topping! Very stubby indica style leaves... just all the signs are there up untill this point. Just gotta see the flowers. We ran into minor calcium deficiency signs upon blooming! That's even after increasing there feed. So we once again bumped there cali magic from 1ml to 1.5 ml a liter. Which has got them back to healthy healthy healthy! The plant we did our lst work and defoliating to is our best looking plant. Fullest ,most bud sites and just looking pretty. Shes well on her way into bloom. Our all natural lady is by far our smallest... not the shortest just as fullness and bud sites goes.But shes nice n healthy and the first to start flowering and the furthest along. The lady we topped, lst, super cropped ect.... is going off and gaining mass. She is still vegging out and no signs of pre flowers yet. She needs a good defoliating but shes going to be one full lady, with lots of bud sites. There starting to stank a very "kushy" aroma a pleasure to my sences! It's also getting stronger daily. We also added flora nectar sugar cane extract last 2 feeds! Get those terpenes pumping. Environmental has stayed pretty much the same except I dropped the lights 8 inches to pump those bud sites full of lumens! We are locked and loaded! And these girls are progressing wonderfully! They are all progressing amazingly! Nice lovely green and in great health. Bud sites are really gaining character and finally developing with structure on the 2 plants that bloomed first. They are packing on the pistils and bulking up with calyxs. Original AK here we come. The third plant we did all our topping and heavy training to has now begun flowering as well. Bud sites are getting their white pom poms on and shes starting to get into gear. We got slight tip burn I mean minuscule first feed last week. So we reduced a few things and got that ppm in a better range for this variety! Seems like they dont like much more than mid to high 700's in soiless mix anyways. On our 2 plants first into bloom, Buds are now presenting themselves with much more character and structure! We now can tell that the leaf to bud ratio is nice and low!!! Less trimming is always winning lol. Frost is starting a nice blizzard on their flowers and resin development is reving up! Calyxs are packing on super tight, creating dense solid nugs! Love me some resinous rocks mmmmmmm. They have finished the flower stretch and have since gained no vertical height except bud girth. Not a very stretchy variety at all... making it a wonderful consideration for a fastbuds SOG grow. Mabey an idea for my next run with this variety. We had a bit of yellowing on our oldest lower fan leaves. I'm confident it's just the natural cycle of life.... As these 2 ladies are making rapid heavy pushes towards the finish line and used up stored mobile nutrients in the older lower leaves, that are just not getting enough light for photosynthesis anyways. As harvest gets closer... Bitch is making herself useful so to speak. The 3rd plant we did our extensive training to is finished up her transition into bloom and is working on bulking up those little white pistils pom poms... but her buds are yet to have any substance. She still continues to stretch a bit and really filled out wonderfully! I'm very happy with my training work! looking at it as the stretching period commences and it really did it justice. Shes the one pictured under the grow lights. Photo shooted the first 2 plants after I ate 2 potent ass brownies for newyears. By the time I was done the second plants photos I was way too high to be fucking around with plants. So she got her pics takin from a far lol. Will update with some natural light shots of her asap in the week. Bloom is going stellar for these beauties! They are really starting to stink. Cant quite put my finger on the aroma just yet but I will definitely state it as it builds more character. I cant wait for my first taste of fastbuds original ak! Oh and side not they were relocated into one of my larger spaces as the purple lemonade they were in with decided it wanted to take over lol. Flowers are progressing wonderfully on the first 2 plants that went into bloom. They are still bulking up pistils and packing on the calyxs. The frost is really starting to come into effect One is a little further along then the other. Already showing some orange pistils and fading lower fan leaves. These are all good signs that the plant is running her course. And also a indicator that the swelling phase is near. The other is right behind her in volume but about 4 or 5 days behind in development. Still very white and green... signs that shes got days left of packing on fresh flower growth. Before turning to swelling her flowers and ripening. Both are really packing a intense aroma. That is very dank and pungent but lulls u with this lingering piney fragrance. Love the aroma development. The third plant we topped, super cropped, bent, twisted, spread, and all out man handled... but in a loving kinda way lol. Is well into bloom finally and is becoming a nice little sea of flowers. The heavy training seemingly kept her in veg week after week. I say this because the second I left her alone to grow out, she was bumping out pistils and making the transition. She is now gaining structure and character to her flowers. Starting to bulk them up and has a nice little coat of ice already too. She will be weeks behind her sisters, but let's see if it proves to be worth it in the long run. When we are at the scales. Nutrient solution was altered less nitrogen and lowered my bloom boosters amounts. I'm loving this Original AK by my fam at @Fast_Buds yall definitely need to get on it. So two of our AK plants received their last feed 2 days ago and have since started their flush! Trichomes are beginning to amber up! Pistils are retreating and curling in. Browning/orangeing up as well. Calyxs are mighty swollen! Fat dense flowers sprawl all over these donkey dicked beauties. Absolutely Majestic old school vibes from these girls n a real treat to grow their dense beautiful flowers. The third lady is still chugging along much behind her sisters! But she has became quite the Bush of a little lady! She still got plenty in her to go and is still on the nutrients mentioned above. The other 2 are on only PhD water for flushing! Cant wait to give those 2 the axe the smell soooooooo fucking good. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam!

So this weeks update is going to focus on our 2 ladys that are in their last days. They have been flushing for 9 days and faded right out. They are sitting at 80/20 cloudy/amber ratio... and need just a few more days to finish flushing, and a few more days to ripen a bit more. We did a mass defoliating on em... and their "pre harvest manicure" And now they are stripped right down to the flowers! Looking mighty sexy! The smell is just unbelievable! Cant fucking wait! Just a few more days fam! And its harvest time for 2 outta 3 original ak ladies. Boy did they really fatten and frost up these past few days. Untill next update happy growing and stay lit fam!

The flowers we got off these girls were top shelf stuff! Absolutely blew people's minds it came from autoflowering plants. So dense and resinous its truely remarkable. We gave them the axe at 70/30 cloudy to amber ratio. Right in our sweet spot and how we like our cut. They had a leaf to calyx ratio to be desired! Little amounts of leaves scattered here n there on the fat dense buds. Making for a quick and easy manicure. We let some go to the impatient... and they absolutely loved the experience. Raved about the intense skunky sweet qualities of the flowers. The main bulk is now jarred up and curing... properly lmfao. I too cracked a sample spliff to give a smoke report which is in the strain review section of the harvest report. Very energetic high with a side order of later relaxation. Great buzz! They were decent yeilders for such fast growing plants. Toting just under 40 grams a piece. Not bad not bad... Beautiful bag appeal. Like snow white rocks of flowery goodness mmmmmmmmm! As the other 2 produce just over 70 grams combined... where she produced that on her own. Definitely train and use lst on this variety to improve your yields!

So well her sister are being greatly enjoyed! This lady is making her final lap of bloom and approaching the finish line. She been flushing for a almost a week and will be getting her stripping in a few more days from now. After her pre harvest defoliating we will give her a nice photo shoot.
