So far, the plant has grown excellent and healthy, the last two weeks have begun to show signs of some deficiency. The deficiency is seen in the young leaves and in the adult as well. I tried to find out what the deficiency but I could not reach a satisfactory answer. I have a suspicion that it is deficient in calcium and magnesium. I would be happy if you could help me overcome this problem

I have a nutrient deficiency or something else that I can't detect. As you can see in this week's photo, the edges of the leaves bleach- mature and young leaves. I would be very happy if you could help me find out what the deficiency is

hey there that was actually a magnesium issue which the plant has muscled through, next time add a cal mag spray 1ml/L and it will largely avoid such a problem. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Since there are no previous weeks to view I would not hazzard telling you to do anything but the basics. How stable is your PH? How is your water? How often is it flushed... I mean a whole list of things Sometimes waiting is a necessity Start there, for one it will keep you from adding something you shouldnt. Keeps me out of too much trouble

@seagull Looks like tobacco mosaic virus to me as Ive had it on a few seedlings all of which ended up being completely fine other than the obvious leaf markings I think 5.8 is atad too low for your medium and 6-6.2 would allow more nutrient availability to the roots

I think I have a good answer: variegated leaf mutation :) I asked around and this is what I think we are both seeing in our plants.

@Njanne, @seagull 's plant is not variegated, but even if it was shouldnt be a problem that affects potency or yield, just rare gens ! anyway i popped an answer to the grow question, anything else you need Seagull just drop me a message 👊

@seagull, you have to risk manage. get rid of the questionable plant, or take your chances... do you have the ability to quarantine the plant? that would be interesting... see how it fares, but keep it away from the others. as for me I'm going to risk it...

@Njanne, So basically I have nothing to do against it? Is it all genetic?

I think Mrs_Larimar could be right with her thought of the Tobacco Mosaic Virus. Take a closer look at this article, maybe you will find your answers here: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/tobacco-mosaic-virus-tmv

I have 2 girls in this breeding cycle, one uninfected and one infected with TMV. This means that the virus is not viral. Do you think you can count on it? Or just get rid of the infected plant?
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommented5 years ago
@seagull,tmv shows very early... if the plant has it from begnning it is the TMV... if not its anything else. If plant is infected. get rid of her
