i have placed e 4 seeds in between two paper towels. nothing happened for the first couple of days which was strange to me as i have used this technique in the past.
therefor i decided to plug them into jiffy pods and place them into a propagator with 90RH and 25C
they popped 3 days later.
2/11 - placed in paper
11/11 (cool date) - placed in tent, started diary.
both plants seem to stretch quite a lot in 1 week under the LED light. the light is 35 CM from the top of the plant.
on week 0 when they were germinated in a tray the CFL lights were directly on the box (as they are cold)
@timbarin yes they can get quite leggy you need to transplant them and when you do bury half of the main stem under the soil The part of the plant that gets buried
will grow new roots making your plant stronger Also you should lower the light a little

lets see how it goes. so far the JC is small , lame looking but leggy.
19/11 - was recommended to re-pot them and cover the stem as much as possible, this made sense so i went for it.
1.5 hours later i got 4 full buckets
since the site is bit limiting 😋
i added 3 ML of nuts on 12 L of water to the new buckets
20/11 - the technique of burring the plant until the cotyledon seems to work. the plants are not getting higher as before (well one day passed only)
I learned from previous grows never to hesitate, so i ordered today a humidifier since the RH wont go over 35. i got 30 days return w/Amazon so 0 risk here.
i decided for fun, to measure the span of the leafs the GCS is 8x6 CM the RC is 7x6 CM i wonder how will they grow throughout the week.
21/11 - added the dehumidifier , RH is 60% and temp is 19C during lights off, the span of the leafs is shows around 2-3 CM grow (per night) 😎
23/11 - no news is good news. They are stretching to the sides and growing nicely, I've added some pictures to to the album.
24/11 - week 3 started. Didn't feed them yet. Dirt seems moist. The humidifier works well. He was depleted once and the RH dropped to 30%
They are growing in constant pace
25/11 - feed them with full power nutes. They seem fine. Minor deficiency on the jock horror.
26/11 - all seems weed in baby land.
The Main issue is lack of automation, I have to refill the humidifier, and I can't control him since he is outside of the tent. Wasn't planning on growing 4 plants but hey better more than killing the plant. So I will mainline them.
27/11 - nothing specific. No need to feed them didn't touch them yet. Uploaded new pics
28/11 - fed them with 6L of water. They were thirsty but did not look sad before watering. I prefer to feed them so they will get food to grow
30/11 - they are growing ... uploaded new pictures. fed with 6 litter of water and nutes.
1/12 - topped ready for mainline, but I snapped them abit so I taped them back and left them alone.
2/12 - the small one was thirsty so I fed them all with 2l of nutes

3/12 - life can't be that good. I see now light burn from the lights so I raised the lights to 50cm from the canopy (was 30) I can also see some form of deficiency but I cannot recognize the symptom atm. Also did some trimming on the jock horror
5/12 - topped the RC, water with PH down only.
i need to get cal-mag and start using bottled water. the ppm from the tap is 1300, bottled water is roughly 90 so i will need cal-mag extra
6/12 - deficiency continues, tomorrow i will give them cal-mag( its public holiday so it's all shut)
7/12 - gave them cal-mag v2 1m/1.5L bottled water with start of EC 120, i assume i should keep on adding this to the regular feeding, hopefully stopping it. also topped another one on the same go.
tomorrow they will start week 5.
Started some deficiency with two plants I think the leaf going up is light stress, and the other yellowimg is n deficiency way too much food but I could use a 2nd pair of eyes on this
hey there Timbarin, it looks like magnesium deficiency to me because of the yellowing between the veins but affecting even newer leafs not just older leafs, this is actually due to light stress from before, plants need more Mg with strong lights and heavy light schedules , even in soil the truth is that with these kinds of genetics you need extra cal mag, you can even make a spray with it and use it until second week of veg. 36 days from seed.
I'm working on the deficiency with supplemental calmag2.0, besides that they grow in a good rate. They still can't hold the rh alone and require humidifier
40 days from seed.
Added 2nd light 120w, fighting deficiency with calmag and extra nitrogen. Seems to stop for now fed them with 7L of food
42 days from seed.
Defoliation and some mainline happend all around. They seem to react good to this. I don't think they will get more mainlined I want 4 main colas. From now on just defoliation (I think)

17/12 - Business as usual, keep on trimming and shaping them. I was sure I would I'll be done last week. But I wasn't as I had bit more work on the tree of life. I hope it was the last time.
20/12 - fed them with 2l water, they didn't seem very hungry, but the little one was so I cooked some food for them and gave them abit. So far so good....
New week stats.
Currently same issues, gsc is not growing anymore due to my original cuts, jh is dead due to having the humidifier blowing direct on him and due to n excess.
I'm flushing them both with phed water and trying to salvage them. In case they won't progress by end of week they will be cut down
I haven't seen any progress with them and they got a 2nd flush with 6.5 water only.
I trimmed all the fan leafs from the rest of the plants to show the main 4 colas. From now they won't be trimmed just topped per need.
I also ordered two scrog nets.
Fed them twice this week.
Moved the gsc to the front and kept topping some big fan leafs from the back right plant. Nothing specific happened this week besides normal growth

8/1 - nothing major. Regular growth. Haven't watered them yet. But I think they will be tomorrow. Not planning on changing the recepie
11/1 - crazy growth, the more I cut the bigger the growth. The gcs genetics are amazing. This plant is simply gorgeous.

A new week started I believe that in two weeks I would be able to flip them.
So far I'm keeping with the same food regime and not planning on topping and defo them untill flower stage.
The scrog net will probably go up next week. Aka week before flower.
Unfortunately I need to move the tent to different room so I can't put the scrog net yet.
14/1 - fed them with roughly 6L nutes, they are already drinking more than the previous grow in flowering stage. The entire canopy is lush green, zero deficiencies or seen issues.
16/1 - two more days have passed. They are growing in good rate and the canopy fills roughly 80% of the tent which means for me that it's time to set the net as I can see beautiful preflowers. So it will go up in the end of the week once the tent is relocated and cleaned up prior to flowering.
Last time I had red mites and I think it had todo with airflow, rh and high temp. Since the above are sorted out now the cleaning element is the only one that requires attention. Took some extra pictures in the evening after a DEFOLIATION which I said I won't do
17/1 - fed them again 6.2 L with -5 ML on the vega
19/1 - week 11 starts now, I had to move the tent to different room and I'm traveling this week, therefore I prefer not to switch them to flowering and wait until I will come back.
The scrog net it on, but I can't really go Low with it (it's a mistake, I should have put the net ages ago. When I bought it).
20/1 - fed them with 6L food with nutes, the recipe is slightly tweaked with less vega and bit more rhizo
24/1 - GF fed them as im not home, all seems well, new pictures will come later on
25/1 - the light did not go on @ 21:00, GF noticed this around 0:30. i think the timer is not reliable, i had this issue in the past once or twice. i cannot risk it so i will look for an advanced one
they look good and tomorrow i will be back home and week 12 will start (1st week of flowering)
26/1 - first day of flowering. Let's see what's going on.
I also started a new diary for 5 clones that I have cut today, before the light cycle switch to 12/12.
28/1 - promising growth, they don't seem hungry. Carbon filter and fan will arrive this week and the tent will be fully upgraded! After this I don't think I will need to purchase anything else.

28/1 evening - changed fans, I removed two extract fans of 175 cfm, placed a new one of 400cfm. I still get negative force. Great results,

fed them with 5L and nutes. I always give them food.... Funny how they dried in half a day.

29/1 - carbon filter is too big, returning him back and I've ordered a different one, smaller. New pics uploaded. I do see abit of nutes burn and some leaf tear. I hope this won't continue and it's just the cycle change and food adjustments
31/1 - fed them with 5L nutes, this time i used a "bad" water brand w/starting PPM of 520. so the total was 2400 since i gave them extra food more rhyzo , more zym and bit more boost . its a test since they are very nice i can experiment. worst case i flush. I also defoliated quite abit. Hopefully they will like it.

Also I need to put the 2nd scrog net after another defoliation. But I prefer to do it when I fed them. I just defoliated couple of days ago.

Nothing to report besides new pictures. All is well is weed land and the smell is picking up.
I have the carbon filter but missing 5" to 4" adapter. It will arrive tomorrow. Hopefully also installed.
The dirt is dry but they seem very happy so I decided not to feed them today as last two feeds were aggressive.

Closing up the week. tomorrow i will move the tent back to his location, and move the clones into their new home. also, next week, i will start the automation project.

F18 - new pics are up, good and steady growth. Still figuring out how to do the smart things
F19 - fed them, Im going for a week. My gf will feed them probably once more around F22-23 then I will feed them on F28

Fed them again w/5 L food and did a major defoliation. new pics are up. new week starts now. i will do the smart lights this week. and also i'm going away again so GF will feed them on week 6.

Fed them again w/5 L food. they look amazing, i can see already purple, orange hairs. not all buds show that but most of them do.
there are quite a few small buds under the canopy but i do not think they are that bad. i do want to have "leftovers" for butter, and i prefer not to use big buds for that.
i changed the food recepie and blasted them with the full quantity as per the guide of medium feeding. i was quite far away from these quantities so i hope they will be fine with them. (Reduced zym and rhizo, upped the vega and added PK)

F34 (start of) - uploaded new pictures and did some filters and close ups, the dirt is starting to dry out I will feed them on F35 (plans works atm...)

Im back, fed them today without the pk but didn't lower the flower dosage.
They smell strong, super sticky and I spread them abit since I saw some small Buds that are not getting light.
I'm traveling all through week 8 and I will give them pure water since I can't automate the feeding....
F44 - 10/3 smart stuff is running and food.
F46 - 12/3 fed them with regular nutes quantities, and tested the automation of the water system. I'm planed to travel over the weekend and I need a two time feeding system. After the tests I've seen that it's working fine.
F49 - 15/3
Fed them with the regular recipe and uploaded new pix. They seem fat and ready to go one or two more weeks and I'm ready.
F51 - 17/3
fed them again with nutes, this will be probably the last feed with nutes. i can see already half of the canopy changing colors into a nice yellowish color.
no pix atm dont see a need. i will upload on the next feed.
F54 - fed them, last time with boost and zym, only water now for about 24 days or so.

I cut down 32 gram of plant , and placed them into drying on the 21st
it dried for a period of 4 days, resulted in 4Gram of dry plant.
they were dry and small as i took really small buds to test it.
1 day curing
4 day curing and smoking it all. was okish... nothing special . no predominant flavor

Dried 4G of popcorn buds, the rest are big, they smoke smooth. no curing on them. only the big stuff will be cured.
day 4 - drying goes well, it looks quite dry but the branches are bendy and green. i prefer a slow dry of 7-9 days.

Two more weeks, probably only one due to covid19 and lack of weed around me.
i guess this week will be same as the last one month , just observations and waiting for the flowers to ripen. feeding has stopped on F58 they get only water and i'm waiting for yellow leafs, so I've feed them with water only (400ish ppm) and they were quite thirsty they usually take 5-6L.
They are sticky, smelly and I need to wash my hands for 3 minutes after touching them
F59 - 24/3 water only
F61 - 26/3 two month in!!! nice job :-) they will be cut down either this weekend or mid next week. depends on my mood and their progression (they are ripening)
F63 - 28/3 that is it I guess..... 9 weeks in... Or not
I would personally push it for another week. A week can make a huge difference in the quality and bag appeal of your buds. If you are looking for a more energetic uplifting high then you can chop it now, but if you want to get that heavy stone that sinks you into the couch then I would keep pushing it. It looks like your trichomes are mostly cloudy/milky but I see quite a few that look kinda clear. So basically it all depends on the kind of high you are looking for. But either way, congrats on your successful grow and upcoming harvest!
F63 - 29/3
this starts the last week of this grow. the idea was to cut them down today. but i've decided to feed them with water one last time and give them couple of more days.
the point is simple, in previous grows i was couch locked and i'm trying to avoid that but still maximize the flavor of the product.
with that in mind, i have noticed that the main change with the plants is happening always on Tuesday (i don't know why, but i can assume that since the cycle starts Saturday night it takes the plant 36-48 hours to show some results)

F65 - Cut all Down and hung to dry with 40RH and 22C in dark room.
