Northern Lights Auto Growers Choice

Seed has sprouted. Seedling is looking strong.

Plant has a few nodes now. Leaf edges are curling up due to heat/light/low rh stress. The grow box I made is not big enough for the plant/light.

Started LST on plant. Getting a 2x2x4 tent for this girl.

Plant is doing better! Definitely is liking more space between her and the light. She is starting to get Bushy!

Plant is getting bushier. Still low to the ground from the LST. No signs of sex yet.

A few pistols have been spotted around the plant!!

Plant is starting to stretch!

Was out camping this week. When I returned home the plant has shot up a few more inches and flowers forming everywhere!

Starting this diary way late. This plant is my first plant I’ve grown. I have 3 younger LSD plants going right now but this was my first. She had a rough first few weeks. I tried to grow in a small cabinet and she was too close to the light I think that slowed her down a little. I upgraded to a 2x2x4 tent and she’s been happy since.

Vertical growth has pretty much stopped and buds have begun the fattening up process.

This week has seen the buds starting to fatten up and trichomes popping up. Hairs are starting to turn orange. Thinking another two weeks for her.

Shes continuing to fatten up. Trichomes are looking mostly cloudy with some ambers so I will start her final flush this week. We’ll see how much more she’ll swell in the next 10-14 days.

Well this was my first harvest. I learned a lot from this grow. This plant hermied so I got quite a few seeds in the buds. I believe this effected my final yield as the plant was putting energy towards producing seeds instead of buds. Also quite a few buds were pretty much nothing but seeds. This was probably my fault. I stressed the plant out the first few weeks of its life because I tried to grow in a small DIY grow cabinet I made out of a cabinet I found at the thrift store. She was way too close to the LED light and was showing signs of heat stress. It was also very dry the first few weeks and since I was new didn't have a humidifier. Anyways this plant taught me a lot and now I have the equipment and knowledge to help me with future grows. I used a Herbs Now dryer and it worked great. The buds have been in jars now curing for almost two weeks. The smell is beautiful, its a sweet, kind of fruity smell to it. The smoke is a nice one. I've never smoked an autflower (at least not to my knowledge) and was surprised at the strength of it. I had in my mind that autos weren't as potent but I was proven wrong. It's a nice relaxing high. I smoked some the other day when I was checking the surf and found myself sitting just watching the ocean and soaking up the sun for over almost an hour. When I came back to earth I suited up and got some waves. I am happy with my first grow even if it didn't turn out as I hoped.
